Waterfront holiday rentals in Mameyes II

There isn’t enough great things to say about this place to truly describe how wonderful it is !! It’s even more beautiful than the pictures. Also the host is excellent! Communication is excellent. Super kind and truly cared. We had a flight delay and the host Rebecca stayed up and in contact until we were safely checked in. But the check in process was so thoroughly explained and a breeze. Rebecca truly cared that my Family and I had a great time celebrating my Mom’s birthday. Gave great recommendations and checked in with messages. The location is awesome - the view of the resort is very beautiful with a lot to do and a great restaurant called Roots on location. Also El Yunque is awesome! So much fun. Luquillo is hands down one of the best beaches I’ve been to with calm waters. The Amigo grocery store is close as well with a lot of great options for groceries. This place is literally my favorite Airbnb and as stated before the host Rebecca is awesome and communicates thoroughly. Thx!

The condo is beautiful. The resort has the best pools and somehow no crowds M-F while we were there in late May-early June. Olga was great at communication and addressing problems. The resort is showing its age and could use some maintenance pumped into it but it is still a beautiful location and the beach is lovely.

The condo is neat and clean, on the third floor and perfectly located in the building for a great view of the ocean and pools. It was very pleasant to sit on the balcony any time of day or night….no insects at night!!. The facility was exceptionally clean and grounds well maintained. The beach was groomed every morning and it’s a great walking beach. The Wyndham resort is 2-4 minute walk from the condo offering several restaurants, a small casino and 2 outstanding Golf Courses. We rented this unit four weeks so we had a rental car with an assigned parking space. Maintenance staff always friendly and helpful. Alan was my contact person and he was always responsive, pleasant and friendly. There were some minor issues that I brought to his attention and he addressed them immediately. Both TV’s had many app options. AC’s worked great. Plenty of closet and bureau space. It was nice having two sinks in the bathroom. I would not hesitate to rent this unit again.

The location was perfect! The house was as advertised and was what we needed for our time in east Puerto Rico. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The stay at Jorge’s place was everything we wished for and more. The view from the balcony is truly breathtaking. We had breakfast literally on the beach every morning. Luquillo offers is a great location for going to the rainforest, exploring the local beaches and driving to San Juan in 30ish minutes. We are so glad to have booked this beautiful, clean and well maintained home and can’t wait to be back!

Perfect beach side stay! This place is better in real life then we expected. Wonderful stay!

Randy's place was great! The apartment is well cared for, with all the amenities, and the balcony is great for sitting down and looking at the beach. All in all, we had a great time.

We stayed at Eric and Marilyn’s place in Luquillo from May 21–29 and had an amazing experience. The home was clean, spacious, and stocked with everything we needed—and more! The kitchen was fully equipped, the beach gear (towels, chairs, cooler, toys) was a huge plus, and the A/C in the bedrooms made it super comfortable after long, hot days. We felt safe in the gated community and loved the walkable location and pool access. Eric and Marilyn were very communicative and kind. Highly recommend—we’d definitely stay again!

This stay was great! Perfect for a group with community center for the kiddos! The Horst was quick and responsive! Definitely recommend!

We had two families stay at the Happy Yellow Beach House and we loved every minute! Accessing the beach was a short walk down a lovely path, the pool and hot tub were so much fun and the house was comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the basic essentials and we had plenty of towels. It was so convenient to be able to do laundry as well. We loved the bakery and new restaurant at the end of the street and went to the Luquillo Kiosks a few times - it was a great location - easy travel from San Juan! Manny was an excellent host and took care of all our needs, provided recommendations for restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Thank you for a wonderful visit and sharing your piece of PR heaven with us!

Thank you Larry for an awesome stay for our first time visiting Puerto Rico- it won’t be the last! Our stay was peaceful, magical, and we are really going to miss your chickens and the local kitties greeting us. The house was well stocked and walkable to many cute restaurants and the beach. My daughters didn’t want to leave! We would love to stay here again. Larry was an awesome host and just a super nice guy

Really beautiful spot right on the ocean! Another gorgeous beach just down the road too. Perfect spot for a couple or small group looking for a beautiful vacation at the beach. Super close to the national rainforest too, which had some gorgeous views of the island as well as some great hiking. Definitely recommend!

Our family had a great stay at La Hacienda. It was a tricky drive through the winding rainforest roads in the dark, but location was just how Gerardo described. He was proactive with checkin instructions and local recommendations. The house is in a great location by the river and in the rainforest-you can hear the coqui and birds and river flowing all the time. It’s just a short drive to grab groceries or check out the beach/shops in Luquillo. The outdoor living room space was really nice in morning and evenings while relaxing between activities - the ceiling fan helped keep away the few mosquitos that snuck in. Las Pailas is super close and our kids loved spending hours there. Tour groups came in waves so they got a lot of time on the short and high water slides and loved climbing on the rocks - just be careful and carry things on your back and not in your arms! :)

This BNB went above expectations, all the extra accommodations from in person walkthrough check in, to extra amenities in the home (beach accessories, first aid kit, sunscreen, aloe, detergent, kids toys, pool access, etc.) all was appreciated and needed for a relaxing getaway. The check in process was very thorough, and made us not only feel at home but gave us the ability to function as locals at the beach and know our way around the neighborhood. Security was friendly, and attentive. House was very clean, as well as linens, beach towels, bathrooms, toiletries, etc. would definitely stay again! Walking distance from grocery, bakery, drinks, fresh food, and the kiosks. Super quiet and comfy neighborhood, Great family vacation! You can tell the property management is top level, thank you again will definitely be back again soon!

This is the best spot on the island and Bertha is the best host. We always feel so welcome and the location could not be better: literally on the water, you can walk miles of beach from the house (at low tide). You can walk to the kioskos, and you are close to El Yunque and OSJ. All your cares melt away when you are laying on the hammock listening to the waves.

Maria's condominium is elegant and quiet. Just far enough from a swimming beach and an excellent base location for island excursions. Amenities are a 5 minute drive away. Your host is very polite and accommodating, as well as efficient. and for the price, this is a steal.

Beautiful condo inside the Rio Mar resort. Excellent and secure location in the rainforest area with direct access to the beach, El Yunque Forest and nearby areas. Excellent views from the condo. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The margaritaville resort was very nice and clean, had lots of chairs by the pool and beach, grounds were well maintained. The beach was very clean and private! We only had breakfast at the resort but the buffet was great. We had a car which was pretty essential as the area is not walkable. We would love to stay here again sometime!

We enjoyed our stay in Río Grande! The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. The gated community was quiet and just steps from the beach—great for morning jogs, though not our preferred beach for full days. The complex had a pool (the kiddie pool wasn’t very clean), plus tennis and basketball courts. The home was clean and spacious with two full bathrooms. The bunkbed room is very small—just for sleeping—but worked for our kids. The beds weren’t very comfortable according to my husband, but I didn’t mind. The couch/TV setup was a bit awkward, with the larger couch not facing the screen. One small downside: access was with physical keys instead of a keypad, which would’ve been more convenient (possibly a complex rule). Close to Luquillo Beach and the kiosks. Grocery stores weren’t nearby—Walmart doesn’t deliver here, but Supermax does. Overall, a peaceful and well-located stay.

The place was beautiful, one of the best airbnb i ever stayed. Views were breathtaking apt better than the pictures. Place was spotless🤩. Kathy was the best host ever. Even do she was in Peru she never stop communicating. We were very grateful for everything! We are returning 100%!!

We loved our stay at Rio Mar Village and were very sad to leave when our trip was over. The condo was very comfortable and well-stocked. It is at the end of a cluster and we enjoyed the privacy of it. Walking to the complex pool is feasible (10 minutes or less to walk), but we mostly chose to drive. The pool was beautiful and quiet--at most 4 other people in it when we were there. You have to drive to get to the beach and restaurants, but that was no problem for us. Supermarkets and Walgreens are within 10 minutes. The mouth of El Yunque is also a quick drive from the resort entrance. Airport (when no traffic) was 35 minutes drive and Old San Juan is about 45 minutes. Great restaurants in the resort but also near Luquillo Beach. Of all the places we have stayed in Puerto Rico, this was the best. It gave us easy access to everything we wanted to do on the island while also giving us the peacefulness and privacy of our own home. Loly is a great host and replies to texts right away.

This place is my favorite Airbnb for Puerto Rico. The apartment is beautiful and clean. The little backyard is gorgeous and great for a good cup of coffee in the morning. The owner left detailed instructions as well. I definitely recommend this spot to stay in if you’re ever in PR 🩷
