Beautiful self-contained traditional house for 2/3

This unique traditional cottage with many amenities is in an edge-of-town setting just off the new city Ring Road, and only 20 mins or so from the central city. Set within a large garden plot with excellent security, swimming/play/sports facilities and parking - ideal for single guests, couples or young families - for short term getaway, work from home location, or stop-off on the way north/south. The owners live on the plot, are fluent in Portuguese and English, and are experienced hosts.

Teressa is a great host, she made our trip easier than I anticipated since it was our first time visiting Moz. What I liked the most about her place is the quietness and peacefulness, away from the noise by the beach. I will surely come back.

Really wonderful stay with a very kind host. Breakfast was a beautiful experience each day - it was my favorite part of my stay in Maputo. Delicious food and strong coffee in a beautiful garden. Tinie could not have been kinder or more delightful as a host from helping me with a luggage mishap to dropping me at the airport. If I’m ever back in Maputo I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

From the moment I arrived, Freddy, the server, greeted us that morning with such warmth and enthusiasm, making me feel immediately welcome. His attentiveness throughout our stay was unmatched—always there when I needed him but never intrusive. Freddy’s personable nature added a special touch to the experience, and it was clear he genuinely cared about making every guest feel at home. A huge highlight of the stay was the food, thanks to the incredible cook. Each meal was a delightful experience, with fresh, flavorful ingredients skillfully combined to create dishes that were nothing short of spectacular. Rui was there to assist with providing assistance with logistics. Our room was always cleaned promptly. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner who made sure our experience was enjoyable.
