Lovely vacation home on the beautiful recreational park Buitenborgh on the water. Swimming, boating, paddle boarding, fishing and enjoying the sun is our motto. Amsterdam and other Randstad cities are easily accessible by car. Public transportation is a little further away, around 1 km walk/cycle is a bus stop and 4 km walk/cycle is a train station. Your own transportation is recommended and can be parked in Abcoude. Three bicycles are included with your stay. Close to Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam Arena (Ajax) and AFAS Live.

Walk along the bird breeding area, cycle in the area, golf in Westwoud or explore VOC harbor towns Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Bus stop and parking in front of the door. 30 minutes from Amsterdam. Also in July 2026, the 18th edition of the Stavoren fishing days will be held nearby. The exact dates are not yet known. The vacation home is located on the village meadow Wijk aan Zee and is within walking distance (10 minutes) of the beach and the sea. In the 3300m2 backyard of our farmhouse are two detached tiny houses with a large private garden and private entrance with lots of privacy. The cottage is within walking distance of the historic city of Medemblik and close to Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Amsterdam is 45 minutes away. Various possibilities for water sports. Beach, ports, shops etc. reachable within 5 minutes by car and 25 minutes on foot.
