The kitchen is slightly stocked (pots, dishes, drip coffee maker, small refrig and an antique stove, but no working oven). A gas fireplace adds a cozy feature to the living space.

1700’s historic waterfront cottage

Be a part of history while staying on this waterfront property of the Ironmaster's Mansion. The two-story stone guesthouse, steps away from the mansion, was built in the year 1715. The timeless character of the home, paired with the peaceful property creates an escape that feels like you've gone back in time, all while being only 20 minutes outside of Lancaster City. The mansion was home to the first treasurer of the US, General Edward Hand’s daughter, and President Buchanan’s fiance.

This historic building was used as a Wash House when the building next door functioned as a Tavern. A short 15 minute drive to Historic Strasburg, Sight and Sound Theater, Antique Shopping, and more! Hiking Trails close by include Enola Low Grade Rail Trail, Pinnacle Point, Muddy Run Park, and Sickman's Mill.

Life in Lanc

Life in Lanc is located on the outskirts of downtown Lancaster City, just 15 minutes from the city square, Millersville, and from Strasburg and Amish country. This townhome was just built in 2020, and the Airbnb basement portion was finished in 2022, giving this space a new clean and fresh aesthetic. While the rest of the townhome is lived-in by us, the owners, all of the space you are booking is completely private.

This beautiful property in Conestoga, PA borders Silver Mine Park which has a creek, soccer and baseball fields, and hiking trails. Located 10-15 minutes from Lancaster City, ~20 minutes from many popular (Amish-related) tourist attractions, ~10 minutes from the Pequea boat launch, and ~18 minutes from the Pinnacle Overlook this is the perfect property either for an action-packed vacation or a peaceful, relaxing one.
