Holiday rentals with lake access in Mason County

This house is just an 8 min walk or 2 min bike ride to the beach. We used our bikes to get everywhere and didn’t even need our car for the weekend. The house was clean and spacious. Even though it is only 3 bedrooms, it Had plenty of sleeping spaces. We loved the ping pong table in the garage. The host was responsive before and during our trip and quickly answered all our questions. Great air b, we had 0 complaints and would 100% stay here again.

My family and I selected Ellie’s house for fall break. We were seeking a destination that would help us recharge, relax and recoup. The setting of this home is so beautiful and relaxing. The back patio is perched above the picturesque Lake Hamlin. The house is equipped with many windows to help you enjoy the view from inside as well. We found just what we were looking for. I must give Ellie the highest compliment possible for her care, responsiveness, and friendliness. We had all needs met and she communicated very well before and during our stay. We would like to come back again someday! My family gives this home a 5/5.

Had a wonderful time with the family celebrating Memorial Day. Location was perfect, walkable to the beach and downtown. Had all the kitchen supplies that were needed. Can see the water and lighthouse from the front porch! Would stay again! Ben was very responsive and friendly! Would recommend more bath towels and to note in description that the stairs are pretty steep and would not be accessible to older adults who have trouble walking, but there are two rooms downstairs that would be perfectly accessible! Beautiful, cozy house, excellently equipped with everything you need. Great location, nice backyard. Plenty of space for everyone and everything, perfect for our group of nine. It felt like home from the first moment on!

Ben was great. The stay couldn’t have been better. It was contactless check in and I literally wasn’t bothered for the rest of the stay. Instructions were super clear and easy to follow for check in and check out The beach is literally across the street

The perfect location for beach, biking, and shops. everything was exactly as described and Ben was very responsive to our questions. We only stayed one night, but we were happy to have chosen this location.

As always the place is beautiful , clean and well managed. Ben is communicative and friendly as well as the staff that help out. If you’re looking for a place close to the beach with easy access to food, parks and the outdoors this is the place.

My two sisters and I stayed at the Blue Bayou for a little get away. The place was clean, cozy and so darn cute! We loved the look and so many great extra touches! Jordan and Marilyn were very responsive and helpful when we had a question or need. The outdoor space was great too with nice views, great sunsets and weather was perfect for meals on the deck. We will definitely be back! Super close to downtown too, which has fun little shops and a few restaurants. Sterns beach is so close too! Great location!

Ben communicated clearly as needed to check in and for the stay. We didn't really need anything more from him - we had all the information and everything else that we needed during our stay. The place was very clean and had everything we'd expect, plus, what we hadn't really expected was how incredible the location was. It was right across from the beach and a lighthouse at the end of a jetty - beautiful! All the restaurants were also within walking distance. Would have been nice to stay longer to do more exploring of the area and also of the eateries. It was too cold to enjoy the beautiful clean fresh Lake Michigan - right at our doorstep (just about), so we'll need to come back when the weather is warmer. The Ludington Beach House hosted by Ben will be our first choice!

Great Place for a fall long weekend getaway! We enjoyed the ease of access to surrounding activities, beautiful views and advertised amenities. The place worked great for cooking in or outdoors and keeping two children entertained. Trips to dunes for hiking or motorsport, bigger cities for restaurants or shopping and parks for sightseeing and recreation are all available from this cottage. The place was well stocked with towels, bedding and cooking utensils. Some water and ice are also provided. I ended up needing to work a bit during the stay, the wifi was great for this. A note that lake front property is prime real-estate so neighbors are close by. While quiet and nice, having neighbors close by may not be everyone's cup of tea. Overall a great place to stay, would be interested in coming back for longer during the summer in the future.

What a beautiful setting. Bald eagle sightings every day. Such a fantastic beach! Hope to come back next year.

What a great place to stay! We enjoyed the location, the home and of course the closeness to the outlet where our small children enjoyed the warmer, shallower water. This was our second time to this area and it just fits our needs so perfectly. The home was clean and had all the essentials for our few days away! Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit!

This was the second visit to your place. First one was over a year ago. My son, grandson and myself enjoyed the place and will be back again next year.

This was one of the most well stocked places we've ever been. We enjoyed the water, and an added bonus was the water trampoline and slide by the dock! we got so much use out of it as well as the kayaks. The games and amenities came in handy at night as well. The top floor got a little warm, but the rest was nice and cool. We spent most of our time at the beach though. It is about 30 min. from ludington which was a nice adventure a few of our days. We had 3 Littles and would highly recommend this home. thanks again for a wonderful week away!

Very peaceful retreat to escape the world. House was very clean and everything you needed plus extras. The little lake in the back was amazing. We went on the paddle boat every night-- amazing.

We loved staying on Vacation Lane! What a quiet, sweet little neighborhood right on the water. the beds were comfy and everything was clean and cozy. We especially loved putting our paddle boards in to Lake Hamlin and floating around, looking at fish and birds. Stix is really close and was our favorite place to eat. We'd love to come back again!
