Apartment holiday rentals in Mattawa

We were in North Bay for a dance competition. Most of the team stayed at a hotel, but we wanted to bring our small dog and looked for something that would accommodate. As it turns out, Mark‘s venue was a two minute walk from the event space we were competing at, which made for a very enjoyable and stress-free weekend. We had a wonderful experience with Mark and his property. When we arrived, Mark met us with the keys and showed us around the place. I was impressed by how immaculately clean the apartment was. Upon check-in, we had a couple of requests and Mark was efficient in fulfilling them. Mark checked in with us a few times over the weekend to see how everything was going and even provided recommendations for local dining. Saturday night at The Block Public House is a great place for live music. We loved the whole experience of staying in North Bay and will book this accommodation again without a second thought.

The advantages of the location are its proximity to the waterfront and park, and several nearby restaurants, cafes and bars. Having a dog-friendly option really came in handy, and Mark is definitely dog friendly as well! Mark was very responsive to any questions or the very few issues I experienced during my 3 month stay. He also works nearby, which also helps with the responsiveness. The noise traveled a bit between my bedroom and the adjacent suite, but I wore earplugs. People will have different feelings about the Main St. location. While there are definitely few people with housing/mental issues nearby, I never felt threatened by them. Most were just trying to get by and didn't cause anyone trouble that I witnessed. Perhaps having a dog breaks the ice? Either way, I think the bad rep Main St. got is based largely how it was during COVID. The city also does an excellent job of keeping the street free of litter-passing by several times a day.

amazing place to stay especially for extended stays men and my wife ended feeling more at home than expected. we almost stole the bed mattress it was that comfortable. lol

Really great hosts! They responded quick every time and provided a lot for us. Very much a bring your clothes and you’re good to go situation! The hosts also respected privacy and we never felt uncomfortable being there. The hosts only came if we needed them too and always did when asked, usually within 20 minutes (like for water or propane refills). We also felt safe and secure in this house as we had our own unit and only we could access it. The view of the lake is beautiful and I’m definitely going to miss it! I would definitely recommend and I will be saving this air bnb for any future needs in north bay!:) they also provided all the streaming services which was really great for us during our visit! The outdoor lighting at night was a really nice touch. The place was cleaned really well and you could tell that the hosts truly care, with all the small things most hosts don’t think of or care to do! Thanks for a great stay!:)

This is the second 2 week stay that I've had at this Airbnb. Nothing has changed since the first stay. If you're looking for a peaceful place to stay this is it. Quinn is always quick to respond to any questions and clearly takes care of his guests. The accommodations are everything that you could ask for when being away from home, and actually feels like home. I can't say enough good things about the Airbnb and Quinn as a host. You won't be disappointed if choosing to stay here.

Absolutely beautiful location for a relaxing getaway. Quiet and serene sandy beach. Kayaks available as described and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in the views from the lake. Great place to take the opportunity to try out the SUP in the shallows of their sandy beach. Bev and Louise were welcoming and readily available to answer any questions. We truly appreciate our hosts for sharing their home to provide such a wonderful experience.

It was a very pleasant stay. Nice and quiet. I’d recommend and stay there again if needed.

This home is a lovely place to stay when visiting North Bay. It’s very close to the university/college, making our travels to a graduation ceremony stress free. The home is cozy and equipped with all necessities to make meals. We enjoyed our time here and will come again when back in North bay

Where would I even begin? This was by far the best experience I’ve had. The unit exceeded expectations, it really did make you feel at home from the moment you walked in. It is honestly so nice, zero complaints. The host’s were absolutely amazing. They were so responsive to any need I had no matter how big or small, and made everything just so comfortable. I don’t think I’ll ever come across a group quite like them again. I would highly recommend this unit and any other unit listed under the host’s. They made being away from home and the struggles of daily life feel effortless. I am grateful for all they did and accommodated for me. As I said, best experience I’ve had by far.

Stoped in North bay for an evening well doing some travelling. The place was just what we were looking for. We booked it last minute as we weren’t planing on stoping in north bay. the host was very accommodating, got it ready right away well still making sure the place was in top condition. It’s very cute and homey. The host was sure to let us know if we needed anything to feel free to reach out, one of them always answered with in 5 minutes. Over all a great stay, even decided to spend an extra night

We had a really nice and peaceful stay at Lynn’s. She kindly let us used some snowshoes which was a must to explore the snowy nearby trails. The sauna and jaccuzi were really appreciated to warm up after a day in the cold! Would like to come back in the summer or fall as it must be stunning as well!

We absolutely loved staying here! It was cozy, private and extremely peaceful. The area is beautiful and the unit is amazing. Joseph and Melissa were extremely kind, responsive, helpful and accommodating. We were allowed to launch a Seadoo from their property and it was so much fun. Sitting by the fireplace and watching the stars was magical. My fiancé called it a “hidden gem”. We loved it so much and are planning on staying again!

Liz and Joe are anazing hosts. They not only helped us unload but walked us through amenities in the house. They are super friendly, responsuve and very nice people. Not only their place had everything but they made sure to send additional stuff to help us. Above all, place was beautiful, quiet and had a great view. We were lucky to spot Aurora (northern lights) and meteors...lots of stargazing. Had a great weekend! Would go back again for sure and have already recommended to friends!

First the floors were wooded, like that. Clean 1 bedroom spaces apartment. Had all that we needed to make a meal in the kitchen. Bathroom is clean. The apartment has high ceiling. The host was just a text away, will answer all yoir questions at a moments notice.

Very nice accommodations. Extremely clean. Bed was comfortable and there was lots of towels and linens. Our host was very responsive and accommodating. Certainly wouldn’t hesitate to stay here in the future.

This was our third time staying here and as always the accommodations were clean and the pool and hot tub were a hit! Great location, walking distance to downtown restaurants and activities.

The apartment is ideally located close to the coffee shops, pizza place , chip stands etc. We did not hear street noise at all . The apartment was super clean and well equipped with all the basic necessities . You do need to go up a flight of stairs which presented no problems for us but , might be challenging for seniors. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sturgeon Falls.

Very clean and great service overall, enjoyed spending the weekend at this pleasant suite and definitely would stay again :)
