House holiday rentals in Mauritius Island

The small cottage of Jf and Kareen more than convinced us with its very own charm, a great layout and its optimal location. It was clean, tidy and lovingly furnished. The hosts didn't promise too much, were themselves very friendly, courteous and always available for questions. Would recommend this place with a clear conscience at any time 😊

Michel is a pleasant, discreet and helpful host, very responsive and gives good advice. He booked all our excursions, including the restaurant, taxi, and rental car. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and exactly matches the description. I highly recommend it.

House is absolutely stunning. Very well equipped kitchen, master bedroom is huge with breathtaking views. There are 4 bedrooms in the house, all with private bathrooms. The pool and deck were fantastic. It was so nice to sit there and just look at the ocean! The property is located approx. 10 min walk (2 min drive) from the main street and the beach. A shopping center with a grocery store is also super close. Athalie was very nice, super flexible and helpful. She gave us a detailed tour of the house. It was really nice to meet her. The only thing that was a problem and may be a problem in the future is the roof over the staricase. It is made of glass and unfortunately leaks when it rains. Since the leak was quite big and required a lot of work and effort from us to keep the house dry, we assume that it would probably be fixed very soon, so it may not be a problem anymore.

Great place to stay, 100% Recommendation. Everything is as described and in good condition. We stayed with Infants and they also liked it and had fun with the toys, sandbox and pool. Perfect spot to explore the West and Southwest. Sophie and Valérie are very helpful and friendly in Communication. You ll not regret to stay here. Best wishes.

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa 69. The villa was perfect and my daughter loved being able to swim everyday. We loved all the wildlife, the beautiful gardens and the quiet peaceful Surroundings. It is safe to say we did not want to leave. Thank you!

What a lovely, peaceful, rustic spot! We enjoyed the quiet of the garden and playing in the little pool. This place is very private and comfortable, which is exactly what we were looking for. You need a car to get around and should plan to bring in what you need as it's simply appointed, but we felt happy and safe with our toddler and thought it was a great central location to explore Tamarin, Flic en Flac, and surrounds. Benedicte is very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed thoroughly and were sad to leave!

The place is perfect for a family stay. Spacious, quiet and close to nature. If we had to note a negative point, it is the fact that the house is far from the center, you must have a car to go shopping or go to the restaurant. nice accommodation. the only downside the road dangerous enough to go out and the beach difficult to walk because no sidewalk to go to the beach of the bowl.

The location is stunning and the accommodation extremely functional as well as comfortable so we spent much of our stay at the house and were able to relax totally. The place is within easy reach of restaurants, shops, beaches and other necessary amenities although it would have been limited without a hire car. Mathilde was great throughout, always there if we needed anything, extremely helpful but not at all intrusive. We had a late arrival and she facilitated a meal at the house and essential supplies for us which made the start of our holiday much easier than it could have been.

We were guests at Christine's Airbnb for the second time. The Airbnb was cleaned daily, the beds freshly made. They put a lot of effort into making the guest have a pleasant time. The location of the Airbnb is super located to walk to restaurants or to shop for small things. We enjoyed the week very much and would book it again.

We had a great 3 weeks in the house. Brand new, fully equipped with really everything you need to be comfortable with family and cook. Everything is really well thought out. Communication with Nazia was very smooth, well before the departure where we were able to ask her any questions. Isabelle on site was able to clean several times a week. Loved our stay. We had a wonderful time here. Julien’s communication was perfect, he couldn’t have been more helpful with information about the house and any questions we had whilst we were there. The beach by the house was lovely for walking and watching the sunset then we used the house as a base to visit the beaches further up the coast which were only about 25mins drive. Recommended 👍

This wasn’t our first time staying here, and once again everything was wonderful. The host is always incredibly welcoming and makes us feel right at home. As always, it was an excellent stay – we truly enjoy coming back!

The bungalow is located in a very quiet area, you don't hear any noise from the street at night and the airport does not have any flights past 23:00 usually. You only hear the souond of the waves at the nearby beach and can relax very well at the nice terrace. The terrace roof offers also great protection from rain and sun so you can use it a lot. The appartment itself is lovely decorated. I have to mention the bed positively as it is very firm and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with a lot of useful stuff as someone could actually live there instead of old leftover kitchenwear like in some other appartments which was really good. All in all, we were really happy with the appartment and could relax very well. The nearby parking was also great because you really need a car in the area to expore the island.

Jean Christophe, his family and Agnes were all warm, helpful and generous hosts. The house and location were even better than the photos and the kindness afforded by the nearby family and the housekeeping team was fabulous. I will miss looking up at Le Morne from the pool 💔 but we will be back! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home.

We had a wonderful stay and can only highly recommend this Airbnb! Jessica gave us a warm welcome and even took the time to show us around the house, which made us feel at home right away. The house itself is absolutely beautiful very clean, well organized, and thoughtfully designed. The pool area was a real highlight and perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need for cooking during your stay. We especially appreciated the excellent cleaning service during our longer visit – everything was kept spotless and in perfect order. Tip for future guests: Definitely take the advice about renting a car seriously. You’ll absolutely need one to make the most of your stay and explore the area comfortably. We stayed at Natasha's place in March-April 2025. The host was very friendly, the house was very convenient, cozy and beautiful. The house was very close to the ocean. It's a nice choice for large families like ours. We were so glad to stay there. Wonderful place, amazing host! We were delighted! Everything works just fine in the house, house is very functional. Maids came to clean the house almost every day and they also cooked super delicious breakfasts for us. Natasha is so kind and supportive! We fell in love with her. Natasha, if you are reading this- we will definitely come next year for 2 months:) Best place we stayed ever.

I’ve just returned from an amazing stay in Mauritius. The accommodation was perfect. Private, peaceful and beautifully decorated. The host was very good with communication and sent co-ordinates to the address. Sheila, the housekeeper was there to welcome us and made our stay even more enjoyable. Sheila cooked us a traditional Mauritian meal one evening which was delicious. The house and pool were spectacular and a good base to explore the north and west coast of Mauritius. I hope to return again and if I do I shall be asking to book the house again.

we had the most amazing stay at Elodie's beautiful home! we will definitely go back and absolutely recommend this stunning home to anyone without a doubt. the home is incredibly beautiful, so much so that we wish we had stayed longer. we felt right at home immediately and enjoyed being in superbly well equipped home. Elodie, went way over and beyond for us with our late arrival and we are truly for grateful for that! we give Elodie's stunning home a solid 11/10 and look forward to visiting again!

Fantastic location, directly on the beach, really quiet. House is decorated with taste and really feel comfortable. The pool is not too deep so rather safe. The beach is really quiet and nice. Swimming is easy and not deep for a long while. East coast is more exposed to wind but end of June we had pleasant weather every days, despite some occasional rain that never lasted long. Asmita the cleaning lady is really friendly but also knows to be discreet. She was really taking good care of the house and us. It’s a real plus to have her. A car is a must to quickly go around, shopping or for dinner. We hope to come back one day.

The Place was amazing, it was clean and beautiful just like the pictures. We enjoyed our time there and liked the privacy we had there. Also our host Julie was great, she gave us recommendation for restaurants in the area,also she was very helpful and responsive for our check in and during our stay.
