We recently stayed at The Hesed House in Cherrapunjee, and it was a delightful experience. The cottage is beautifully done up, offering a cozy and warm ambiance, perfect for a getaway. With four well-appointed bedrooms, it comfortably accommodated our group of 6. One of the standout features was the lovely library, perfect for unwinding with a book after a day of exploring, it would be a great idea to include some board games and jigsaw puzzles for the benefit of ones who’d want to unwind otherwise. The kitchenette along with a nice big dining table was well-equipped, giving us the option to enjoy some light meals in the comfort of the cottage. The fireplace added an extra touch of warmth, making the evenings feel particularly special with superbly made cocktails. We also had the pleasure of trying the local khasi food, which was flavourful and authentic. Tracy, the attendant, was always courteous and greeted us with a warm smile, ensuring that we felt right at home. Thank you.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Stay in Sohra! Tei’s Airbnb was cosy, comfortable, and well equipped—a perfect retreat in the heart of nature. The music in the living room created a relaxing vibe, and the delicious breakfast and dinner were a real treat. A big thanks to Aryan, the caretaker, for being so courteous and attentive, and to Tei for her thoughtful tips on sightseeing and local eateries that made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a warm, peaceful, and memorable stay in Sohra!

I had a wonderful stay here! The location is very convenient, right near the Cherrapunji taxi stand. The room was clean, cozy, and truly felt like home. While there wasn’t much of a view directly from my room, the terrace more than made up for it with stunning views of the entire mountain range. It was a peaceful and comfortable experience overall. I will definitely choose to stay here again whenever I visit Cherrapunji!
