Villa holiday rentals in Maxwell Beach

The four of us, (2 adults, 2 children - 13 and 9 year old) had such an amazing holiday. Paul and Nicky are excellent hosts with quick and friendly responses to our questions and loads of info about the local area and recommendations. The villa was awesome. Very clean, plenty of space for the four of us with two ensuite bedrooms and a fantastic location. Beds were big and comfy and the kitchen was big enough for a couple of family meals. Location was excellent with it just being a three min walk to an amazing beach and access to sun loungers courtesy of Fairmont Pavillion hotel passes. The shared pool is also a great additon. I would recommend hiring a car if you want to do some food shopping and see more of the island. Although the reggae reggae buses are pretty frequent and quite an experience, having a car makes it so much easier to get around. Barbados and the people are fantastic. Very friendly and we felt very safe. Highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Neil and Linda's apartment, it was perfect for us. A spacious, very comfortable apartment with everything you could need and a nice décor. We also loved the garden, being an early riser it was super to watch the birds and monkeys before heading out for the day. It also has a nice terrace area with table for breakfast. The location was great, a short drive to Speightstown, with lots of character and some nice bars and restaurants and lovely Mullins bay is just a short walk - the Sea Shed is very good restaurant. Also only a 20-minute drive to the very beautiful Paynes Bay. Great communication with Neil and Linda.

Superb home and a most enjoyable stay. Everything we needed and more. Marcia and Susie both lovely to deal with, responsive and friendly. I liked the fact the house is a home and has personal touches and belongings, much more friendly than some rentals. Thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor spaces and beautiful sea view. The on site pools and The Deck restaurant were also very quiet and peaceful. A superb stay and highly recommended! Thank you so much - we will be back x

We had an amazing week at Craig’s villa. The place was even better in person than the photos. We loved the private backyard and the direct access to the mini pool and footsteps away from a bigger pool behind us. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. Sharper knives or a knife sharpener would have been nice since we cooked a lot. The washer and dryer available was very helpful as we constantly had to dry our towels! The location was perfect for a family with young children as it was quiet and peaceful. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful villa. There is plenty of room for 6 people. It is just a 7 minute walk to the beach and a 25 minute walk into Speightstown. The pool is amazing and really well kept. The only thing that could make this villa even better is to add an en-suite shower room the massive bedroom.

The house was in a lovely location to experience the local culture. It is a friendly community of Vila’s with very friendly people. A short walk to the beach and a short drive to Batts Rock beach which is one of my favourite on the island. This villa is perfect to escape the high tourism of Holetown and Bridgetown.

We had the best stay at Mariam’s. The house is beautiful - the photos really don’t do it justice. Mariam went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and was so quick to communicate. The location was great - close to everything we needed whilst still feeling private and quiet. Sometimes by the pool we could hear the sounds of the neighbourhood, but we were never disturbed. We did enjoy the company of a very friendly cat, who would sometimes visit while we were by the pool. Amanda and Desmond were on hand and were brilliant. One evening the gas bottle of the BBQ ran out during cooking. However Mariam had this rectified by the time we even awoke the next morning. We’ll definitely be back - it’s a beautiful house. Home away from home. Very clean and spacious. Great for a relaxing vacation. Dominic was very responsive and made great recommendations. It’s always nice to have clean towels and sheets. Majorie, the housekeeper was extremely helpful and Ambrozine cooked us delicious meals. The beach is across the street, great location for an early morning swim and away from the hustle bustle of Bridgetown. I would definitely do this again. Great house! I had an amazing stay at Colin and Stacie’s place! The accommodation was exactly as described and even exceeded my expectations. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Colin and Stacie were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring that all of my needs were met. The location was great , with easy access to local attractions and amenities. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay, and I would definitely book again in the future!

A great location in the best part of Barbados, close to all our favourite restaurants. The advantage of being part of the Royal Westmoreland is that you have access to a gym and huge swimming pool as well as the small one at the villa, and to Mullins Beach. And excellent food within walking distance

Great 7 days- no complaints. Kids enjoyed the private and communal pools. Very responsive host and property manager. So, very pleasant stay overall.

Beautiful villa! Spent a few days here to celebrate my girlfriend’s 28th birthday and it was everything we could’ve imagined! The view is amazing, barbados is such a lovely place. Everyone is so kind and helpful. Thank you for helping me put together a personal chef for the birthday girl! The villa was so amazing we didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to come back!

This spacious 4 bed villa set in a beautiful location is in the perfect place to relax! Conveniently situated near the large resort swimming pool and gym. Great view over the perfectly manicured golf course with tiny birds and monkeys to watch. Hospitality was faultless and couldn't have done enough for us. Batteries recharged, just what we all needed. Annabelle's is an absolutely unique property, and we feel so privileged to have stayed there. Fraser was a wonderful host, so responsive and full of helpful recommendations and suggestions. the very few teething issues were sorted by him during our stay, with the help of Neville, the property manager. Fraser and his team went above and beyond in their efforts to make our stay as stress free as possible, arranging car hire and airport pick ups. The location is stunning. Words are not enough to express the views, the beaches and the sunsets! we have never, and will never again stay anywhere quite as spectacular. It is worth remembering that Anabelle's is a traditional Bajan house. There is no air-con, and the sea is noisy at night. You will be visited by the local bugs, so pack repellent and ear plugs if you are a light sleeper; but when you wake up in the morning and throw open the shutters- it will all be forgotten! I can highly recommend Sundown Villa, whether you wants to book for a family or group of friends, the villa is in the most perfect spot literally across the road from an amazing beach. The Villa is well decorated, with everything you need to have a perfect holiday. The additional benefit is that the villa comes with 3 staff, a laundrette, housekeeper & chef, all of which worked very hard to keep the house looking immaculate, and the chef making sure your are very well fed. It was never imposing and perfectly relaxed. Lisa the chef, devised different meal options, and would then go shopping for us to collect all that was needed, we just needed to give her the money. It was the perfect experience, each meal was excellent quality & taste, the table was always set, she cooked the best bbq food too! I cannot recommend sundown highly enough!

The home is cozy and situated in the amazing estate of Royal Westmoreland. It was nice having a housekeeper and taking walks throughout the community. Getting into the estate was somewhat challenging at first because there weren't exact addresses or house numbers, but once we knew the home, it was easy thereafter.

If you’re looking for a private quiet spacious space to relax, unwind and rest then Ridge View is perfect. Everything is just as described- From the view on the back veranda to bathing by the pool, doing our laundry under the sun, we had everything we needed and really felt at home and at peace. Mauva, who manages the villa, was always available and checked we were ok from time to time. The air fryer really came in handy too, but if you don’t feel like cooking there’s a place called the ocho ríos bullpen about 10min drive away- we LOVED their take on fish and chips! Would defo recommend and would defo stay here again. Thank you so much Sylvia & Mauva

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. Thanks so much to Dawn and Mark for always getting back to us and for being so helpful with any local questions we had. We felt very welcome and didn’t want to leave! We stayed with our 2 young daughters who loved the pool. They also enjoyed the pool at Paul Owen’s. The local restaurants are lovely and Masey’s supermarket being walking distance was helpful. We also walked to Paynes beach which is 25 minutes towards Bridgetown direction but would highly recommend it! Peaceful beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. A beach bar with great food and we saw turtles. Don’t forget your snorkel!!

Sea Breeze is the perfect getaway spot! This two-bedroom, two-bathroom bungalow is located in a beautifully maintained and secure community at the Villages at Coverley. Just a quick 5-minute drive from the airport, we were relaxing on the private verandah by the pool in no time less than an hour after landing! The home is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it easy to settle in right away. The location is ideal for both short and extended stays, and the peaceful surroundings add to the relaxing vibe. Highly recommend Sea Breeze for anyone looking for a serene, convenient base in Barbados. The host is was very friendly and quick at responding. Thank you for having us!

Highly Recommended. We had a tremendous family holiday at Giggles, a wonderful location and tremendously well equipped with everything we needed. Lots of local amenities such as great supermarket, fantastic restaurants, beaches, shops etc, also well placed to get the local buses or taxes if you want to get out and about more. We had a car but still enjoyed getting on the local buses now and again. The property is really well managed, great communication with Sarah and Jeanine (in charge of housekeeping) was always available for everything we needed. We found the arrival instructions really helpful and the guest book is full of invaluable tips and recommendations to help us get as much out of our trip as possible. Big shout out to the cleaners who do a great job ensuring that the house was perfect upon our arrival with everything organized and easy to find. We also thoroughly enjoyed visits from the local wildlife, including green monkeys and a variety of birds. Thank you Sarah

This is our second stay at Karen's place and we have absolutely loved it. It has felt like a home from home and we find the energy of the place so uplifting and so peaceful. This beautiful villa is a short walk away from breathtaking beaches, glorious sunsets and friendly bars. An absolutely perfect stay. Will definitely be returning to The Pink House! Check In: Seamless. Sent lockbox code before check-in time, opened to access key. The house: clean, organized, nice and bright. You will feel safe and secure. The upstairs bedroom and patio were fantastic. Real King bed was comfortable. Great A/C. Comfy hotel-style white bed sheets. Lots of closet space. Ensuite bathroom is bright and clean. Shower very nice. Kitchen has everything you need. It works. Sitting room is cozy enough. Back deck and plunge pool are the stars of the show. Indeed they were as amazing as they look! Spent much of our trip using it, sunny most of the day. Beach, while coral-y, does the trick! Nice sandy beaches to enjoy nearby. Three couples were able to make this bnb a home. We were there for a week and everything was great. Will definitely come back
