The cabin was as described, no frills, very comfortable but no ability to watch tv.

A lovely stay! We had to wait a little while to get in because of previous guests’ late departure, but it was totally fine to just sit on the porch and relax while we waited the short time.

This place is just beautiful! exactly as listed and even better. Private and quiet. not too far to get to local attractions (we saw Linville Caverns and hiked Linville Falls). very clean and well stocked. couldn't ask for a better vacation!

Perfect Mountain Getaway This Airbnb was the perfect escape! The location was absolutely stunning, with easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and breathtaking views. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hot tub was the cherry on top, providing the perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking or exploring. We loved sitting by the creek and listening to the soothing sounds of the water. We made so many great memories here and can't wait to come back!

What a unique set-up - this little place was everything we needed for a weekend getaway! Tim answered all of our questions in a timely manner and provided great options for things to do in the area. The coffee maker stopped working, but the Mothership had a fancy French press to use as an alternative! If we could offer anything to improve upon it would be to update and replace the outdoor furniture with something more inviting as we would have used that space more had it been more comfortable. This was one of the most EPIC places we have stayed and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful home with a beautiful view and such a well kept house. We were shocked with how nice the home was and the view. The people that we talked to were so sweet and friendly aswell. I cannot wait to come back next year!

The cabin is set back from the road shrouded by trees. If you're expecting hotel grade interested, start at a hotel. If you want peace and quiet and close proximity to trails and scenic views, this is a great base camp. We didn't get to use the fire pit due to rain, but we made good use of the cabin.

The cabin and our stay there was very pleasant. It was quiet, peaceful, and fairly secluded. The cabin included lots of little touches that guests would fine amenable, such as a record player with vinyls, comfortable furniture, nice glass patio doors facing both the front and the side porches, and a washer and dryer. The side porch was my favorite with a beautiful view of the nearby mountains, but the front porch was also great for eating and hanging out. The fire pit built a wonderful fire. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here.

We loved our time at the lake! We saw a variety of wildlife in the yard - deer, turkey, fox, and groundhogs. On top of the geese, variety of fish, and turtles in the lake. I appreciated the easy access to Marion (just 20 minutes away) while feeling a world away. The home is tucked into a quiet cove. It was also an easy drive to Linville Gorge. The house had plenty of space for a family of 4 with two teenagers who liked having their own rooms. We brought our dog, and the space is very dog friendly. We’re already talking about coming back.

BOOK THIS AIRBNB! This was by far the best airbnb I have ever stayed in. Lauris is an extraordinary host down to the tiniest of details. We had everything we could need and more at this airbnb and it provided us with the most magical experience. 11/10 recommend staying at this beautiful cottage.

This cottage is absolutely perfect! It’s very well appointed, comfortable furniture, and the kitchen has everything you need and more to cook meals at home. The vintage fridge is SO cool and looks brand new somehow?! Beautiful view of the foothills on a peaceful road and only 5-10 minutes to groceries, food, and downtown Burnsville which is adorable. Spruce Pine is right down the road and AVL only 40 mins or so. Tami is an excellent host, super responsive and attentive. I will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area and highly recommend! 10/10 💫
