Where Sweetgrass baskets are still hand-crafted and you can visit Indian mounds which pre-date the pyramids in Egypt. This house is a quiet recluse on the marsh and a tidal creek. It faces Sapelo Island and is close to St. Simons, Jekyll, and Savannah. Great for naturalists with a 1.5 acre fresh water pond for exotic birds and wildlife and near to the Harris Neck Wildlife Refuge. We have 2 double kayaks, a canoe, 8 bikes, a hot tub and a sky for stargazing. The well-equipped kitchen opens to the great room with bedrooms on each wing. Pets welcome and plenty of parking.

The River Hut

Private Deep Water Dock on the Sapelo River! The main house is approximately 1100 sq ft and features two bedrooms upstairs, each with queen beds and a pull out couch. There is one full bathroom on the upper floor and another on the downstairs level. The 250 sqft “Bunk House” features a twin over full bunk bed, additional full mattress underneath and a futon in classic coastal style. There's a full bath, additional fridge and kitchen sink.
