What an amazing place to stay. An oasis in the backyard and a great place to relax. A paradise in Bloomington.

We really enjoyed the space. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Liked the Office off the garage as I had to do some work calls. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly.

Amanda’s place was perfect for our family of 7. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels, toilet paper and toiletries. Great location and excellent host.

This was second time staying at this Air BnB. We chose to stay here again because it was a great experience the first time. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The house is clean and comfortable. The area is easily accessible to shopping and restaurants. I would recommend this Air BnB. The price is affordable and we will definitely stay here again.

The house was absolutely amazing. Very close to our Daughter's house! The home was accomdating and my daughter was able to find it with ease! We have a new grandbaby so we will definitely be back! Thank you again!

If we need a place to stay when visiting family in Bloomington, and Matt and Jill have space available, we’re staying with them. The space is secondary, really: we know our hosts will be friendly, helpful and kind and that’s not something to take for granted. It’s always a pleasure and we’re so thankful to have met and stayed with them.

This is one of the friendliest and accommodating AirBNB hosts I have ever had. He is extremely responsive, allowed a super late check out due to my fight being delayed, snacks/drinks/coffee were there, wifi was excellent, fenced in back yard for my service dog, and was extremely affordable. I couldn't have had a better experience. Will stay here anytime I am in town.

We get a kick out of staying upstairs in former commercial buildings that overlook the main streets in small towns. That’s exactly what this property offers. There are great views through huge windows down onto the street and the parkway beyond. This location has a new bathroom and rich colors and decorations combined with original doors and mouldings that, due to their vintage, have a “distressed wood” quality. An eclectic mix of the old and new. Note, the ceilings are very high so there is a bit of a climb to the second floor from the street.

What a wonderful little gem we stumbled upon! So many details went into decorating the space & it was absolutely lovely. The bed was comfy, everything was clean, and there were even complimentary snacks & tea. The town itself was so safe, peaceful, and simply adorable. Across the street from the building is an awesome place to walk your dog(s). It was gorgeous. Highly recommend Java Cafe! The outdoor patio was a great spot to enjoy breakfast & coffee. The only thing I want to note for other review-readers like me is that the bathroom is now connected directly to the room itself. I am sure other reviews stating that they are separate from each other were done before a remodel took place, so I wanted to mention that just in case anyone misses that important detail :) will certainly be back!

Slept like a baby very comfortable bed

Amanda is a great host. Communication was clear and helpful. Her place was very clean and well suited for the four of us that stayed over the weekend for my son's graduation at ISU. The neighborhood is very quiet and it's super easy to get to the campus or to grab a bite to eat. There's a little grocery store around the corner that i describe as a mini wholefoods market. We all enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend Amanda's place as an alternative to staying in a noisy crowded hotel.

We had a great stay while visiting Illinois Wesleyan University. The place was spotless, comfortable, and conveniently located just minutes from campus. The host was very responsive and made everything easy. Would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful place to stay! The extra long table was wonderful to host a 50th birthday dinner for cousins that have not had a chance to get together in a while! This place is absolutely incredible with SO MUCH space! Worth every penny, we paid, and we are already planning another trip!! Tabatha‘s recommendations were on point as well, we visited almost everywhere she recommended. Next time we come, we want to visit the museum! All of us history nerds spent at least 2 to 3 hours discussing the history of that building. ❤️. Can’t wait to come back!!

We rented this house for a few of our employees working it town. It worked perfectly for us. There is plenty of space and we loved the recreation room. Highly recommend. We have already booked our second stay.

They were flexible with arrival and leave times which helped immensely with a lot of people traveling from various locations. There was so much to do at the house that we never left. It was peaceful & fun all at once. It's the perfect spot for a girls weekend and lots of picture opportunities!

This Daisy Lane property was a dream location for a “destination staycation” — The property immediately felt like “home” and was extremely clean & well stocked with great amenities throughout!! 😍🤩 The pool glistened & hot tub was wonderfully steamy & super relaxing!! **We stayed the first week in June & paid to have the pool heated. We would recommend heating the pool to anyone staying in the Midwest before July/August (when regular seasonal temps would naturally heat the water to a more comfortable temperature).** The game table was also a very fun & unique feature — it provided great indoor entertainment when the weather outside wasn’t cooperating. 😁 Our hosts were quick to respond to any questions & were very friendly & eager to make sure we had an enjoyable stay!! 🥰 We will definitely recommend this Beyond The Path listing to friends & family & will be keeping it on our short list of places to return to in the future!! If you're ever down in the Bloomington-Normal area this is a great location not just because of the property but because of how close it is to everything. It's a 10-minute drive from everything we needed to get to and if it was longer it was only by 5-7 minutes. most restaurants and locations are not only walkable but really drivable. The home itself is beautiful Great amenities Great care was made to make this property one of a kind and I definitely would recommend not only this property but their other properties as well!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful, such a fun place to reconnect with friends and family for the weekend! Kristin was so hospitable and thoughtful. Every need was anticipated, from extra blankets and towels to a basket of treats when we walked in. Above all, Kristin was incredibly responsive and helpful during our stay and was always available for any questions we had. Such a kind and thoughtful host. We will definitely be back!
