Holiday rentals with breakfast in Meander Valley Council

Kate's place was a fabulous place to stay with my doggo. One of the most generously well-equipped kitchen's I've experienced, super comfortable beds, warm and homely and a stunning view across the lake! Kate is a wonderfully warm and kind host, easy and responsive communication. I highly recommend Kate's place and will definitely stay again.

My sister and I stayed for 4 nights in April 2025. The house down under is just perfect. So well equipped. Patrick and Indira are excellent hosts. Patrick gave excellent advice for our touring. Thank you both. I absolutely recommend staying at your house down under.

Very comfortable stay in Riverside, which was a good launch pad to explore greater Launceston and the Tamar Valley. Melissa had a lot of ideas and recommendations for activities which were helpful, and she also had an extensive folder of local information in the unit for guests to browse. Melissa and her family were very friendly and made me feel at home. Great for a solo traveler or a couple.

The host was warm, the house was nice and comfortable, and it was worth staying for a few days.

Eagle Nest III is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The view is breathtaking, the rooms are beautiful, and the whole place feels like a dream come true. I was honestly amazed — didn’t expect to find a place this magical. The host was fabulous and gave super clear instructions. The outdoor hot tub is a must — easy to use and perfectly placed to soak in the stunning mountain views. The road to the unit is easy to access, and once you’re there, the peace and calm are unmatched. There’s a cozy fireplace with plenty of firewood, so no worries about keeping warm. Plus, the nearby farm animals (chickens, cows, bunny!) make the whole experience even more delightful. I left feeling refreshed, happy, and already thinking about my next visit. Highly, highly recommended! :)

Wonderful home to stay the night and enjoy homemade bread and jam in the morning on the beautiful patio. It was cold, but the heater worked well, so we opted for a great breakfast outside, complete with homemade muffins, coffee or tea, juice, hot chocolate, butter, jam, and delicious homemade bread as well. Lindsey made our stay very comfortable. The room with adjoining bathroom was comfortable, the bed cozy (electric blanket was appreciated), high quality linens and towels as well as shampoo and body wash were supplied. I loved waking up to the sound of the birds. Highly recommend, would definitely come back. Tassie and its people are truly wonderful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My return stopover was as restful as the first. Beautiful room, friendly and very accommodating host. Highly recommend.

A perfect stay prior to flying out the next day. Very central and some lovely walks to do but very close to the city. Very warm and cosy for those cold winter night. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful quiet location overlooking the Tamar River, yet close to everything. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. Lovely modern decor, spotless and everything we needed. Extensive continental breakfast supplied for our 2 night stay. Welcoming port and chocolates appreciated. Information booklet very helpful. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Launceston and its surrounds.

Sue's place is charismatic and fun. The house is in a great spot, and Sue was a fantastic host, who makes a great breakfast!

I really love this place! When I wake up in the morning and open the window, I can see the Tamar River and the mountain view on the opposite side. There is sunlight and beautiful scenery. There is a mist lingering over the river, and the sunlight shining on the river gives a feeling of great peace. If possible, I truly hope I could live in a place like this for a long time. It's a "dream home".

What a very special, gorgeous cottage to stay in. Julie and Gary have done everything meticulously as they have lovingly restored the stable. There are special little touches everywhere - beautiful linen on the comfortable bed, the fire laid ready to be lit, underfloor heating, warm towels, home made apricot jam and quince jelly along with sourdough bread, cheese and wine. The breakfast goodies in the fridge were yummy. Nothing has been overlooked. It was such a joy to walk in the garden and have Julie show us around. The cottage is in a great location to check out the Tamar Valley and local area. Communication leading up to our stay was really great. Thank you Julie and Gary for being such wonderful and welcoming hosts and for your kindness in letting us share your special cottage.

We had a great time, thank you both for the lovely stay! We were able to visit all the animals, room and amenities were great & so was the provided breakfast. Perfect for a stay to visit Cradle mountain & surroundings.

The property is amazing for sure but what made this one of the best airbnb experience for us is the hosts and how friendly they were. Irene took out time from her busy schedule to show us around their beautiful farm. The breakfast included was a bonus!

If you're looking for a place to breathe, relax, contemplate, reflect, play, chat and spend quality time with family and friends, Eagles Nest 2 is perfect. With Mt Roland and a big wide sky as the grand backdrop view from all angles of the house, and with cathedral height windows celebrating every inch of the view, being inside and outside feels seamless. Eagles Nest is an experience. All the rooms are themed and the decor interestingly eclectic. The beds are very comfy. The place is clean. The kitchen has everything one needs. And then there's the outdoor spa (where you run your outdoor bath) tucked discreetly away for a relaxing soak. I think spectacular is the best word to describe the view and the night sky. We even saw a meteor shower from our bed which will be forever etched in my mind, with Mt Roland silhouetted in the background and a squillion million stars twinkling in the night sky (admittedly it was 4.30am - I'd woken to visit the bathroom - lucky timing!). So nice!

Beverley's place was the perfect location to the airport. Clean, super comfortable bed and provisions for breakfast were great. 100% recommend.

Robert is a lovely host and genuinely cares to do his best for the guests. He cooked delicious breakfast for us and was full of stories and recommendations about places to visit nearby. His parrot Taco is very cute and all in all we had a great stay!

My partner & I absolutely loved staying here after climbing Cradle Mountain! Irene was very welcoming and accommodating to our stay — even helped set up a BBQ for us last minute! We were able to pat the Highland Cows and entertained ourselves with the rest of the farm life on the property The star of the show was the breakfast the next morning. Continental Brekky + Homemade Croissants + Barista coffee and Cafe-style hot Brekky offerings! I would rate this 100/10! Honestly one of the best brekkies I’ve ever had - absolutely loved it

This was definitely one of my favourites stays. Irene and Russell were so welcoming. The house and surroundings are beautiful, the room was so nice and cozy and the breakfast was absolutely delicious 🖤 Thank you both for having us!
