Holiday rentals with breakfast in Meghalaya

My stay at Shillong was absolutely exceptional, largely thanks to the incredible hospitality of Veera! From the moment I arrived, Veera went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable and memorable experience. The house helps Rebecca and Craw were very helpful in providing timely breakfast and all other necessary helps! What truly set this Airbnb apart was the Veera's willingness to help in all possible aspects. Whether it was arranging transportation, offering tips on local culture, suggestions on what restaurants to go or simply being available for a friendly chat, she was always there to assist. Her genuine warmth and helpfulness made me feel truly at home.

I recently stayed at Lavellete Guest House and had an excellent experience. I booked a standard room, and it was everything I hoped for — clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bathroom was spotless, and the overall hygiene of the room was top-notch. A special mention goes to the caretaker, Feda, who made the stay even more enjoyable. She was incredibly responsive, helpful, and always available whenever we needed assistance. Her friendly attitude and prompt service truly stood out and added a personal touch to the experience. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. I highly recommend Lavellete Guest House for anyone looking for clean, quality accommodation with great service. A well-deserved **5 stars** from me — I’ll definitely be coming back!

I had a wonderful stay at Bayt Shalom! The cozy vibe of the room, surrounded by greenery, made it the perfect spot for a peaceful staycation. It felt like a quiet retreat right in the lap of nature. Special thanks to the caretaker, who was warm, helpful, and made sure everything was smooth throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a calm and comforting place in Shillong.

Dama's place is perfectly located in a startegic place to beat the traffic for some scenic sites in Meghalaya. Even though it is in the outskirts of the city this place has serenity which speaks a lot through the sorrouding hillocks, the cultivated lands around brings the moisture in the air right upto the doorstep which we call the dew and to compliment is the hosts warmth that comes with long corporate and adminsitrative experiince. Wishing that she increases the room numbers soon. God bless

We had a delightful stay at Anne's place. From booking to checkout, all our needs were taken care of. The house is cozy and beautiful, equipped with everything you might need. If you forget to pack something, don't worry—I'm sure you'll find all the essentials at Anne's place. The breakfast was scrumptious, and Anne was attentive to my daughter's needs as well. Her recommendations for places to visit were spot on. Anne is a wonderful host who makes you feel at home right away; you don’t feel like a stranger at all. It truly feels like you’re visiting a friend’s home. We enjoyed some great conversations over cups of piping hot tea and breakfast. All in all, it was a fantastic stay. If I ever visit Shillong again, I’ll definitely be staying at Russet.

I had a wonderful stay! The cleanliness was impeccable, and even though we checked in late at night, the host made the process smooth and hassle-free. The place had a cozy, homely environment, and its location was perfect, just a short walk to Dawki River. The breakfast provided was delicious, and the host was incredibly helpful in guiding us to nearby spots worth visiting. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Thanks a lot for making our stay so enjoyable!

The photos do not justice to Farrah’s place. It is aesthetically beautiful and is located perfectly in the city. Farrah is a great host and we just fell in love with Farrah and her team’s hospitality. We were travelling with kids and Farrah ensured we were taken care of. A special mention to the food. It was so simple yet you will end up eating the last morsel of it. Minimalist yet tasty. You should try Farrah’s food. Also, the bonfire just outside is a great place to reflect and rewind after a long day. All in all, a great place to stay and merits a 5 star reco without a doubt.

The place was very well maintained and the care takers were really amazing and they helped us with our every small and big request. Vivi was very responsive and helped us find the place. I was a little sceptical because I have been to a few places in Assam and surrounding areas, that were not maintained at all, but this was indeed a home away from home :)

Very well maintained peaceful place, just looks like given photographs. Host was very cooperative and responsive. Only drawback is that it is far from the centre of the city. Rest is very good.

Awesome place - ideal for peace. The hosts are friendly and responsive. the place is away from the city and you could share a taxi for 80 bucks one way per passenger to the city centre. I would want to stay there again. Cheers

We had an amazing stay at The Anchorage Hotel in Shillong. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained, making it a very comfortable experience. The location was peaceful yet conveniently close to the main attractions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shillong!

Had a short but excellent stay at Ri San Dor in Shillong. Our Host was very responsive and friendly and always was available over text or a quick call. Directions to the place are easy if followed on Gmaps. Our caretaker KK was very friendly and was always ready to cater to our demands. Food was good and breakfast was excellent. Absolutely recommended 5/5.

Hesed house is beautiful. It has amazing views from the bedrooms and from the lounge area. It was so peaceful. Just what we were looking for. I only wish we stayed longer. The food in the restaurant was very delicious, especially the Khasi dishes. The staff were very polite and helpful. they were so hard working. We cannot wait to go back with more time. My favourite time was having coffee in the patio area outside the lounge, over looking the hills and listening to the gentle sound of the water flowing in the stream flowing past hesed house. Absolutely amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I had a memorable stay at Emily and Sankrita's place. The place is a luxury given that it is located in a village and has every amenities one can look for in this budget. Sankrita is the sweetest host I have ever met. She and her team went out of their way to make my stay comfortable, always ready to respond to every demand. Sankrita also took me to nearby places of interest and cooked awesome food. The location is a bit remote, and the roads not so good. but it is totally worth it because of the genuine and kind hospitality of the host and the arrangements. Emily took care of all the initial communications. It was my "home" away from home, for those days and Sankrita made it possible. 💕 I cannot thank her enough for everything.

I had a great stay at Caney's place! The homestay is located on an uphill neighbourhood, so it might be difficult for some to walk but it's quiet and peaceful. The place has all the essentials, just as listed. Caney was super responsive and quick to help whenever needed.

we loved our 2 days stay at Shairiti's place and wish we had stayed longer. It felt like a home away from home. Shairiti was very responsive and accommodating. Jasper who was there all the time to help us out with our requirements is a great guy and very friendly in nature. I'll recommend her place for anyone who is looking for a peaceful stay, maybe for readers or writers this would be an ideal place to be. Additionally the food that we had was very gourmet and the breakfasts were scrumptious and healthy.

I’m thrilled I found Rachel’s homestay! It felt like home, with spotless rooms and a clean bathroom. They even have a heater and a geyser for hot showers. The food is delicious and authentic. They have bikes and scooters for rent, and the place is surrounded by two adorable furry friends who’ll shower you with love. The caretakers are super sweet, and a special shoutout to Shine! I met Ashley on the last day of my stay, and I’m so glad I did. He’s a biker and traveler with a wealth of knowledge about the Northeast region. He organizes unique trips and tours that you won’t find anywhere else. Last but not least, Rachel is an amazing and caring person who makes sure you’re always comfortable and happy. I absolutely felt like home! She went above and beyond to help me plan my itinerary and make sure my stay was peaceful and enjoyable. She even arranged cabs for me at odd times! So, with no second thought, BOOK THIS PLACE RIGHT NOW!
