Genuinely one of the best places I’ve stayed in - the pictures do not do it justice. The hosts are extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible. Great location, very safe and secure, easy access for Ubers and food delivery. Would highly recommend!

Our stay was fantastic from prior communications to the team at the property who assisted us for the stay. We also had a last minute change of plan that Rodney fully accommodated for us without fuss which was a huge help to us. The house and amenities were fantastic and it is a small oasis and was exactly what we needed for a family gathering and great accommodation. Five stars also to Maria who was an absolute star and was like part of the family within the three days of our visit. All in all a perfect Johannesburg interlude for us and big thank you to Rodney and Maria for making it a memorable time for us all.

Very comfortable beds, bathroom and balcony are excellent. Location is incredible and peaceful. Roark had an excellent restaurant recommendation and was of great help. He went beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. Thanks Roark and Presidents palace for a wonderful stay.

Simply a beautiful spot.

Joanne is an incredible host, and she has such a beautiful listing, the best in Johannesburg, if not one of the best in the whole country, you will never get better sunrise, sunset or night views of the city, or a better valued experience. I highly recommend this place for friend and family trips, and it is definitely worth the money and the experience with all the amenities, utilities and things to do for leisure and relaxation on the property! I will definitely be back again soon!

The home is spacious, beautifully designed, and immaculately clean, making it the perfect retreat. The modern amenities and thoughtful touches throughout the space added to the comfort and convenience of our stay. The location is excellent—safe, quiet, and close to great restaurants and attractions. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a seamless experience. I am a automobile and lifestyle content creator - i visit different countries and visit many guesthouses hotels etc , so i get to experience a variety of different people and places - but i absolutely LOVED Jacobs accomodation for the warm, homely feel. He was accomodating, friendly and so helpful from conception,- I needed to check in an hour earlier because of international guest arrival and Jacob pulled out all the stops to have the place ready to accomodate me at very short notice. The house itself is beautiful and suits any occasions, so should you be looking for your engement parties venues, big milestone birthdays , or even just a photo shoot for an important reason this is it . Thank you Jacob for being the best in the crew.

Our reservation for the size of our group stay was super! The rooms were huge, private and super neat and clean. The ample bathrooms in the house eases the load and no waiting for others to finish. The entertainment and dining areas were so well planned which makes this house an ideal place for a huge family reunion, group or corporate outing or even a workshop for a small executive group. The kitchen is huge and had lovely amenities. Even the cottage was clean and neat, as our big group of 15 utilized all the facilities. We had a power failure in the house but was quickly attended to and there were daylight alternatives. Housekeeping is right up there.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mia’s home . What a welcoming and peaceful environment, beautifully designed and decorated home that flexes a trophy fireplace in the middle of the living space. This place is great for group or even more private settings , there is nothing Mia doesn’t cater for. I had booked for my birthday celebration, a party of 10 and I look forward to booking with Mia again .

The property was simply amazing. The rooms were big each with lovely ensuite bathrooms. It has a well appointed kitchen and a large dining room table that would sit 10 people very comfortably. An added bonus is the dining room table converts to a pool table. The area is extremely quiet away from the hussle and bustle of Johannesburg and superbly situated to get to the various golf courses we were playing as well as some great restaurants. It has all the facilities for entertaining outside including a swimming pool which would be amazing in the summer months, as well as a large garden. The house is kept spotless by housekeeping who came in every day (except Sunday) to clean and make up the rooms. Finally, I cannot say enough about our host Charmaine. Very friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. Thank you Charmaine, you were brilliant and we all thank you for letting us feel so at home!

We had an absolute dream stay at Vee's beautiful home. The hot tub was a definite highlight - made our stay even more special. Vee was a pleasure to work with - super responsive, and accommodating. Her hospitality was top-notch. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a lovely place to relax.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Karen’s house. It was a wonderful place to stay at and reconnect with our family. There were enough rooms and a lot of sitting areas indoors and outdoors to accommodate a large family. Also Karen was a very helpful and accommodating host. When we needed anything she was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Awesome place! Super host! Great/safe area. Plenty of room to spread out. Peaceful river in the back. Everything was absolutely great during our stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Amazing location with a responsive host. 9 of us stayed here and all of us had our own beds and there are plenty of bathrooms. Highly recommended for a large group of people.

A truly serene and peaceful getaway! The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. The onsite caretaker was attentive and ensured all our needs were met, making us feel completely at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-cared-for experience.

a lovely place with so much attention to detail! The house is luxurious, suitable for groups and was exceptionally clean! The kitchen was homely, well equipped and had a good selection of spices, oils and condiments meant less packing for us. We loved the tea and coffee station that had everything we needed. The bedrooms were amazing, giving each couple a lovely large room with ensuite bathroom! Having every room air conditioned. The bathrooms were squeaky clean and all the necessities were provided, towels, Shampoos, hand and body creams. Malibongwe was a great host! Available to assist whenever we needed him. Big ups ! The house is exactly what is described and the pictures match the description too ! One suggestion tho, please consider moving the guest house manager to a separate room outside the main house. We were a bit restrained in terms of noise making as we had to consider him But overall, Malibongwe was a great host. He didn’t mind the noise.

Exceptional in every possible way . We are a family of 8 from New Zealand 🇳🇿 and stayed at Mini's for 7 nights & words here can not possibly do justice to how wonderful our stay was from start to finish . Mini went out of her way and more to make us feel welcome , always on hand with a smile and advice if needed . Beautiful tranquility of the gardens and max the Labrador made us feel like family . We had a rather large group and the hosts were incredibly accomodating, making us breakfast and ensuring that we were settled in nicely. The hosts were flexible, responsive, and welcoming. Would recommend!
