Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Menifee County

The Mail House was very cute clean and close to Red River Gorge !! Loved all of the art work and we were greeted by the kitties!! If I come back this way I’ll would be sure to stay here if available!!!

THIS spot is a GEM! It's peaceful & beautiful & quaint,... There simply isn't enough space to type all of the applicable adjectives I would like to use. Above all else, I was appreciative of the sense of seclusion. Sherri & Caleb (the hosts) are excellent at making sure their guests know they are accessible & available while affording their guests privacy. Also, the Guest House is something right out of a Better Homes & Garden Magazine! I SWEAR! The working garden; and the PLANTS! The hardwood floors & countertops! The decor! EVERYTHING! ALL OF IT!!! The perfect getaway for families with pets. Clean, private, and a 10 to 20-minute drive from the everything the area has to offer! The hot tub was a huge hit with the kiddos, especially after we came back from kayaking in a flooded mine that was right down the road! The property was well maintained and felt like our home away from home. David was very responsive and accommodating. 5/5 - Highly recommend!

Cabin was private, relaxing and very clean. Attention to details. Hot tub was clean and relaxing. Comfortable beds. Kitchen had bare necessities so if you have specific utensils you need for cooking, bring your own. Amazing porches for relaxing. Great showers. Host communicates promptly and gave grace for a delayed checkout after we had a flat tire! Would recommend for families, we had plenty of room and comfort.

The cabin lives up to its name with incredible views! The entire place was impeccably decorated and thoughtfully stocked.

The place was perfect! We were there for my birthday and she even left a little birthday card! Great beds, very relaxing porch… amazing hot tub and wonderful kitchen. Margo and Jim have thought of everything. We picked up a nail on the way and woke up to a flat tire. Margo communicated well and Jim came and helped us get the tire repaired!! They were so kind. Loved hiking to Sky Bridge, kayaking the red river and relaxing at this house!

Felt right at home. We were in town visiting family and it was perfect. It exceeded our expectations and will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit. Thank you for the little chocolates and drinks. We did not make s’more… but next time we will! The games were a hit with our family!!

Loved the open layout of the house. We loved having 2 large full bathrooms. The internet was fast, outdoor spaces were well designed, host was friendly and helpful, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook multiple meals. The house was super clean upon arrival. It was a quick 20 minute drive to the Gorge, and was the perfect place to relax after hiking and kayaking! We hope to be back in the near future!

Climb on inn apt 1 was great for babies, toddlers and dogs! It reminded me of old school airbnbs where they actually had lots of supplies available (TP, paper towels, ziploc bags, etc). VERY well stocked! The description and pics matched and the day bed even has a trundle bed underneath if you have toddlers. The place had kids toys and coloring books. Really made you feel at home! Deena was responsive and we were even able to check in early! It was a fantastic time.

This is a great spot right through Nada tunnel with a sweet family of hosts. We love supporting family businesses and air BNBs which have live in hosts and it’s clear they’re running this place themselves! Glad to find this cozy space convenient to everything we need to access in the Red.

There are three things I am looking for when I choose a place to stay on vacation and this place checked every box! 1. LOCATION! This place is in a perfect location. It is close to a highway, but I never heard any traffic noise. What I absolutely loved about the location is that we were not more than 20-30 minutes from any hikes wanted to do or restaurants we wanted to visit, but it still feels quiet and set apart. Also loved the coffee/ice cream shop 1 minute down the road. Visited it every day! 2. Easy parking - Several years back I rented a place that was nearly impossible to get to so this was important to me. There are no steep hills or narrow roads in or out of the apartment. Parking is right by the front door. Super easy in and super easy out. Perfect. 3. As described - I have also been burned in the past by finding a place much different than pictured. Not here. This was exactly as expected if not better. I would 100% rent again. Hoping to return someday with my sister!

Great location will definitely stay again

Scott's place is very clean and very comfortable. A short distance from beautiful downtown Mt. Sterling and close to great restaurants, grocery stores, and the freeway, if you are looking for a place while visiting the area, check out Scott's place. It is very conveniently located and Scott is a very responsive host. The apartment has all the amenities you need for a short or long stay. Highly recommended!

Cozy place to stay! Coffee house is amazing downstairs if you are staying during week days, they are closed on weekends.

We had one issue with a bed and she immediately responded and brought another option I didn't comb through the listing but having cooking oil and a mixing bowl would have been nice kitchen has pots and pans silverware salt pepper and cups, plates and cereal bowls. Over all the location is beautiful the host told us it use to be a golf course. Would 100% stay again

We loved it there absolutely surrounded by nature l, the previous people who had stayed didn’t care for some of the damage they had done but we made sure the host knew and cleaned all of the towels we used and swept and mopped the floors before we left. It was absolutely what my family and I needed thank you 🙏

We loved our stay and it was cozy and private. Loved the hot tub and the gazebo over it. The kitchen was very well stocked. Cassandra is a great host. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, it was a great place. We enjoyed our stay and the host was great with local recommendations and always very responsive. We spent a lot of time out on the patio/deck area and my daughter loved the play area set up outside. The shower had great pressure and there was plenty of space. My family did not find the beds or pillows very comfortable and did not sleep very well, but everyone is different. Besides that, no complaints. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful cabin, Samantha approved quickly when we lost power for days at another place we were staying in. Beautiful home, hot tub was super clean and ready to go.

Scott was a wonderful host, very helpful and responded very quickly with any questions I had. Just be aware of trying to climb the steep stairs after a day of hiking! But the bed and the nice sheets made the climb worth it! The house had so many things provided and was well kept! We really enjoyed our stay and had peaceful nights on the patio with the lights. Even when the storm hit, we had power and got to hear the rain in the tin! So nice! Thank you Scott for the cleanliness and preparedness shown. Will stay here again!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the stay was over Memorial Day weekend. We hiked and came back knowing we would have the perfect place to relax for the evening. Bedding was very comfortable as was all the furniture. Bathroom spit spot clean and again soft linens. This will probably become an annual trip (if not more often) for our group of 4. The coffee/tea bar was an awesome touch!

Inside was decorated very nicely. It was clean and homey. We enjoyed listening to the vinyl albums provided which was a nice nostalgic amenity. Alexa was quick to respond to any communication and was extremely friendly and helpful. The only minor issue we had was finding it. Our Maps told us to stop near the beginning of the road before our destination but thankfully the address numbers were posted and didn't match so we kept going until we saw what looked familiar (having seen the posted pictures). It is quite a distance out in the country and at the very end of the road which made it a nice peaceful and private place to stay. We were there for a wedding at Sunset Ridge and this cabin was very conveniently located. A short 10 minutes to the venue.

My family really enjoyed our stay!! What a beautiful cabin!! We all enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful view and really appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Very responsive host who stayed on the phone with us until we could find the cabin. Only downside is the steep gravel hill to get there. Our rental car had bald tires so it was a bit exciting to drive up the hill, but we made it up every time. Overall a wonderful place and we would definitely stay again if in the area.
