The Maison des Compagnons

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Despite its size, it was very well thought through and bags of character. Lovely pool area. Hubert was an excellent host.

The Bois de Vézelay "Next Door"

LaurèneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
If like us, you want a total change of scenery just 2.5 hours from Paris, then you are in the right place. The cottage, just 4km from the charming village of Vezelay (ranked most beautiful village in France), is on the edge of the forest, quiet and in a white zone (no network): a total disconnection to better recharge and meet. My partner and I enjoyed being in this bubble, which allowed us a real rest with the birdsong for only awakening (true luxury!). The cottage is perfect with all the essentials for a good stay:) We will be back with pleasure and why not with the family next time. Thanks to Wilfrid and Sophie for their responsiveness, professionalism and availability.

Romantic holiday cottage in a fruit garden

Victoria & QuentinRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Communication with Hubert and Maria Victoria went very well, they are attentive and available hosts. Despite a small problem with the reservation, it was resolved in a simple and transparent way without it having an impact on our stay. The cottage is ideally located in the middle of the countryside to enjoy a quiet and relaxing stay. The "artist's house" decor contributes to the charm of the place, all necessary equipment is present without superfluous elements. This is the perfect place to disconnect.

Very nice accommodation beautifully renovated and well-equipped. Very close to the Nivernais canal. The house is very cool when it is very hot. The bike room is welcome. Elyane is a welcoming and discreet host (she lives next door). In short, we recommend...

Independent Water Mill Cottage in Rix, Burgundy

SusanRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Lovely place - very comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful gardens and places to relax. Yves and Christine are always available to help if needed but also respect guest privacy. Great bike rides in the area and Clamecy is a sweet town; also recommend Dijon and Auxerre for visiting.

La Petite Montjoie - Winegrower's house

ValerieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful charming cottage with an exceptional view of the surrounding countryside and the Vézelay basilica. The cottage is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped and we have everything we need to cook for 7 people. The bedding is super comfortable and the cleanliness is impeccable. Great communication with Sophie: very nice, always available and responsive to our every request. We were also able to taste the wines of the estate, which are excellent! We recommend ++!

"The little house" in Chevroches

ClaireRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a pleasant stay in Chevroches' little house. The village is very pretty and full of history, the view from the house is very clear and even allows you to see the barges moored along the Canal. The house, in addition to being typical of small Burgundian houses and very nicely decorated (with lots of elements reminiscent of the history of the country of Clamecy), is very comfortable, cozy and functional. Everything is there, from cooking equipment to games, books or leaflets and you immediately feel at home. Corinne even lent us bikes, which makes it possible to reach Clamecy or visit the banks of the Canal. We recommend 100%!
