Our thatched Saxon farmhouse is located in the center of the unique village of Orvelte. Orvelte is one of the most beautiful villages in the Netherlands and was founded in the 10th century. The monumental farms and the streets lined with cobblestones and old bricks give the village a nostalgic atmosphere. There is a lot to experience in and around Orvelte, art and culture and plenty of recreation. In short, a wonderful location, centrally located in beautiful Drenthe, to get away from it all.

The Scheperij room

Landgoedboerderij Oosterheerdt has a Bed & Breakfast, where you can stay for a short or longer period of time. The two comfortable rooms with private sanitary facilities are located in the monumental front house of the characteristic farm. In addition to the two rooms, there is a dining room available to guests, where they can meet each other. From the B&B, you can easily enter the Nienoord estate. Pets are allowed, and bringing a horse is negotiable. Dogs on a leash.

This is the master bedroom of our characteristic property. A large bright room with beautiful views and light from two sides. There is a sitting area, large table, coffee and tea facilities, for, reading lights by the bed and sofa. The bathroom, as well as the separate toilet, you share with any guests from the other rooms. The rooms are located on the floor. You have to be able to walk, the stairs do not have a handrail.

B&B Cozy Voorhuis farmhouse (max. 5 p)

If you want to relax, you're fine here. Rural, cozy and quiet place, 10 km away from the city of Groningen and 3.2 km from the airport. the village is 1.5 km away. Although we live behind the airport, we don't have any noise nuisance. Biking, hiking, running, sailing on the Paterswoldsemeer, Hoornse Plas. Eelde/Paterswolde is a village with several cores. Sights, Museum De Buitenplaats, Landgoed Lemferdinge, Friescheveen.

BnB Het West - Beautiful View Room

A little information beforehand. For a booking with 2 people, only 1 room will be made ready. The 2nd bedroom is only included for 3 or more people. If 2 people want to sleep separately, that's also possible. However, the price for people and the use of two bedrooms is then slightly higher. Characteristic secret annex - Space and comfort!

Our cozy, characteristic back house with an area of no less than 120m2 is part of a thatched farmhouse from 1862. It has a private entrance and plenty of privacy. There is a beautiful large living room with oak beams and loft. From here you have a magnificent wide view over the meadows behind.
