My stay was lovely. I wish I didn't have to leave. It's spacious, it's cosy, it's clean and it's beautiful. It honestly does feel like a way away from home. And Marie? An absolute sweetheart. I will definitely be returning.

Peter was a great host. Greeted me, responded to all my messages but gave me a lot of privacy. When I didn’t need him, I never saw him. Location is about 15-20 minutes walking to shops which might be a little too far but uber is inexpensive. Greenside is centrally located if you’re doing things in Joburg north. The place was fairly basic but very clean and well-maintained. Had no issues with electricity, pests or sanitation. Would stay here again.

Renate’s place was pristine, clean, minimalist, warm and all the nice things! We checked in a day before my birthday and she even got us a cake. She goes over and beyond for her guests and is a friendly and warm presence. Did I already mention how perfectly clean the room was! You have to go there for yourself to truly experience this. Loved our stay at Ncedi’s, it felt very homey.. The area was quiet and the cottage was clean and well kept. There were a lot of thoughtful touches such as a gas heater, folding table to work whilst in bed, make-up remover towels and an umbrella (which came in super handy!). The cottage was a little smaller than we anticipated but all in all very cute.

Staying at Mandy's was absolutely fantastic! As a solo female traveler I felt very safe, the house is gated and the location was central to everything I needed. 4th street is also just a quick walk away and has a bunch of cute stores and restaurants. Mandy was super responsive and made sure I had heating in the apartment (during winter). Would definitely recommend and would love to come back if I am in the area again!

Firstly the whole place is amazing, so peaceful and clean. The garden is breathtaking!!!! How can I forget to mention the service? The caretaker is super friendly and so helpful. I’d highly recommend this place.

What a lovely stay at Sarah’s beautiful place. I stayed for two nights for a business trip in the city. Everything was spotless. Sarah is a thoughtful and responsive host and will come back anytime I need to be in the city again.

A fantastic, modern place that was very comfortable, homely and equipped with all that is needed and more. It also comes with beautiful views of the golf course and sunsets. The hosts were amazing and they went out their way to make us feel at home and welcomed. A really fantastic stay. We really enjoyed it and would recommend highly.

This place was top tier for me. Conveniently situated for where we wanted to be. Easy to get to. The room was so spacious. Had a large working space and smart tv. Good quality Wifi. Came on a cold weekend but never felt it. Had wall heater, electric blanket, warm fleece throw and an extra blanket provided. The kitchenette has everything you need, iron, microwave, sink, glasses, etc Had nice hot shower even though the area had a power outage, never affected us as they have backup, even a generator. Also has a nice seating area at the back with a view of the golf course.. You get your own remote to come and go as you please. Owners very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.

I've had a great stay at Frances's house. The location is the best in Johannesburg, it's very close to Zoo Lake (which is very beautiful for walkings and watching birds), Rosebank Mall (shopping center and restaurants, a lot of coffeeshops). Besides, this area is quiet and safe for tourists. And it was such a pleasure to meet Frances. If you're interested in South African culture, art, life in Johannesburg - this is the best place for you to stay with Frances. Thank you for the accommodation and all the help from you! Johannesburg is one of me favorite cities now.

Sibylle is such a sweetheart. We absolutely loved staying at her place. The space was clean, easy to relax and work if one needs to. If I am ever in the area I would not hesitate coming back. We appreciated the fresh fruits, yoghurt and muesli. Her recommendations and books will give anyone a great orientation of what to do in Johannesburg. My stay at Etienne's place was exquisite! 👌🏿 I loved the place and wish I had stayed longer, but I had to cut my stay short due to unexpected family issues. Without a doubt, Etienne is a great and very responsive host.

An absolute gem! Hosts Billy and Carol go out of their way to enhance the experience. Very well stocked cabin with breakfast goodies and many more little touches that do really make it feel like home. Quiet with a lovely secluded garden to sit and relax in. I'm coming back for a second stay! Highly highly recommended.

Nicci’s place was home away from home with attention to detail to the smallest things. With the temperatures dropping due to season’s change a heater was available to warm up the room. Working space was handy too. Tranquil if you want peaceful surroundings. Fresh milk & tusks were a nice treat, including the tea and coffee station

A great location and very secure. A warm welcome from host and Max, the very very friendly dog. The cottage is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We had a problem with the TV on check in, which was sorted right away. A really great little spot. We loved our stay!
