The Roost, Strawbale Construction

You will be staying in picturesque Northern Bucks County in a Strawbale constructed home. We are located on 25 acres with a 4 acre organic orchard. Our property abuts 5286 acre Nockamixon State Park which has mountain biking, boating, fishing and hiking. We are out in the country but only an hour from Philadelphia and 1 1/2 hours to New York City. You will be located in walking distance of a coffee shop, Italian restaurant and within 20 to 30 minutes of Doylestown, Frenchtown and New Hope.

The Farmhouse Stay

Welcome to The Farmhouse Stay! You will be staying in our cozy and homey in-law suit apartment attached to our 1890's farmhouse. Yes, you do have your own entrance and we have a large parking area. Along with the 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom layout, we have added a pull out couch that holds a queen bed. When not in the apartment, you can visit our chickens, quail and watch the fire flies in the field behind us. We have outdoor seating that's perfect for PA nights.

This apartment has a 7 night minimum and 32 day maximum. Economically priced for longer stays with slightly less amenities: linens excluded. You may extend after a week if all is going well. Designed for business travelers, intern students, and temporary longer term stays. Washer/Dryer, coffee maker, toaster, cable TV, DVD player with DVDs, secure wireless internet access, reserved parking for 1 car, quiet location.
