Holiday rentals with a kayak in Mille Lacs County

We had the best stay at this roomy Isle lake house! Our hostess, Michelle, was proactive and communicative, without being overbearing, from the time we booked. The check in was a breeze and upon arrival, everything was spotless, organized, and welcoming. Books with local recommendations on restaurants and activites awaited us, along with information on the house. I thought we came decently prepared, but our host had planned for every contingency: extra chargers, toiletries, a fully stocked coffee bar, even s'more supplies! Everything pictured was there, and more. There were even sand toys and inside toys for our youngest, who is too small to enjoy the kayaks and paddleboards, and a large selection of board and card games. Even with neighbors, our location felt private, safe, and homey. One of the highlights for my daughter was catching a small Walleye right off the shore! We couldn't have asked for a better stay and the kids are already begging to go back next year.

Overall, Craig’s place met our needs. The location was great and easy to access the Garrison area.

The house is really roomy, the amount of bathrooms that was in the house was convenient. The dining table was huge and perfect for serving food because we had a huge group. The garage had all the outdoor things you can think of, firewood, bicycles, fishing rods, life jackets, camping chairs. The backyard is really wide plenty of space to play yard games and etc even though the weather was not the greatest, still had alot of fun. Driveway was super convenient if you got alot of cars. Jason was really helpful and informative.

This 5 bedroom home met our family’s needs extraordinarily well. Having four bedrooms on the main floor was especially nice, as one of our family members has mobility disabilities. He could get around very easily and have access to all of the main floor areas. The hosts anticipated all of our needs for kitchen supplies. We’ve never stayed in a vacation rental with kitchen as fully stocked with appliances, cookware, utensils, serving pieces, and tableware. The beds are all very comfortable. The spaces are very well planned, and set up for families. Our grandchildren loved the games, art supplies, and access to movies. Our stay was a Christmas gift to our family, and everybody had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. Many thanks for all of the thoughtful details.

We received all the information we needed prior to arriving for our get away and when we arrived we couldn't have been more pleased with this cabin. It was extremely clean and had everything that was described. The cabin was very spacious and it felt like we were at home. This cabin had everything that we needed, and was immaculately clean when we arrived!!! The game room was more than bargained for. The amount of games that were available was awesome. We haven't played some of these games (foosball, air hockey) in ages and we had so much fun. The kids especially enjoyed it, they had a blast. Access to the lake was super easy and the firepit was an excellent place to relax and enjoy the sunset!! We will definitely be coming back in the future.

We enjoyed this family friendly location. The host put in so many thoughtful details for conversation. Baby grand piano, dedicated workspace, tv with local channels and internet WiFi. Everyone got their own room. The decor was so intriguing, we often found ourselves visiting each other often. Gorgeous view from both decks with lots of interesting birds to watch. The boathouse was a bonus we did not expect. Table with chairs inside & out and gas grill on its deck. The dock was perfect to fish from with bobber and to dock our pontoon. The Green Lake public boat access was not far. Loved the MN greeting of Miller High Life and Hamms beverages waiting for us in the fridge. The ice machine supplied plenty of ice for 5 of us and our cooler for the lake tour. Perfect for a nice family get away, well done!!

Great Host! Fantastic cabin, location, and amenities! Very tasteful decor and the sauna was my personal favorite! 10/10 highly recommend and will be booking again once i get the chance!

Beautiful place inside and out. Amenities were great. WiFi was having difficulties but just needed to be reset, and the host was aware and messaged us regarding the issue before we were even fully aware of it! Definitely would come back for future getaways!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The cabin is beautifully decorated and clean ( loved the use of wood, especially photograph frames and mirror.) It's nice that they have water toys available, but carrying kayak and paddle board down a steep flight of stairs to get to the water was a bit daunting. Just something to be aware of that it's not simple if you want to just hop on the water. The fire pit was great, the views and sunsets were amazing. There were strong winds for part of the time we were there and it was great listening to the waves crashing just like the ocean. Overall was a good experience and I would definitely recommend!

This was our second stay and even though the weather was not great (MN early summer 🤷 😉) we had a great family get away! The cabin is awesome and soo well appointed. Seriously, everything you can think of has been taken care of! The instructions etc are soo helpful. It makes for a very relaxed stay even when the weather doesn’t cooperate

The cabin was beautiful and in a great location. Would highly recommend staying here if you are coming up for a fishing weekend!

Recently acquired, this little resort is family run and it shows. If you are looking for a tucked away relaxing getaway consider booking with Lyndi and Brian. They will make you feel right at home. With charcoal grills available in addition to a decently outfitted kitchen, kayaks, swings, a large fire pit and an awesome breakfast/lunch cafe on the weekends, all on a private access lake with plenty of fishing to be had you might not ever have to leave campus. But if you do, you’ll be a 20 minute drive from pubs, restaurants, roadhouses, groceries and gas so the convenience is there as well. Don’t book cabin #2! That one is for me!!!
