Beachfront holiday rentals in Mindelo

Ik verbleef 2 nachten in Simabô. Voor soloreizigers een fijne plek om andere reizigers te ontmoeten. Ik verbleef in een privékamer mer gedeelde badkamer. De ruimtes waren schoon en er waren altijd medewerkers in het huis die kunnen helpen met vragen. Om de hoek is een supermarktje en het strand (Laginha) is op 5 minuten loopafstand. Het blijft een hostel, wat betekend dat er geluiden zijn van andere reizigers en dat keuken en dergelijke gedeeld worden. Ook het water is koud in de douche, maar dit staat ook duidelijk vermeld in de advertentie. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is supergoed! Als ik langer was gebleven zou ik ook zeker naar het asiel gaan waar het geld vam het hostel naar toe gaat!

Liliana is a very heartwarming host, quick to respond to your questions and helpfull in aiding your trip around Saõ Vicente. Couldn’t have wished for more. About the appartment. It is located right on the sea board. A beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy the ocean, read a book and at night you have an amazong view of the stars. There’s a garden with a lot of shade and place to relax. Right next door there’s a small turtle sanctuary and you can make a roundtrip by foot around the vulcano. So enough to do for everyone. Inside the appartment is very clean, tidy en cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Pobyt u Charlese byl opravdu skvělý, užili jsme si klid, samotu, hučení oceánu a hvězdnou oblohu. Ani se nám nechtělo odjet. Vybaveni bylo vynikajici a moc jsme si užili houpací síť na terase. Charles byl velmi ochotný, vstřícný a hodně nám pomohl s organizaci pobytu. Rádi se na toto místo vratime

le logement est même mieux que la description faite. Nous y avons vécu un superbe séjour. Se coucher au bruit des vagues, se réveiller face à la mer. Merci de nous avoir permis de faire un vrai break. Je recommande vraiment Nous reviendrons c est certain. ❤️Merci Evaristo

We stayed with Paulo and his wife in their house organized to host several people. Paulo was super reactive, he came to pick us up from the airport and gave us a tour of the city. The day we wanted to leave Mindelo, there was no minibus running so he also dropped us in the village we were staying next. In short he is really nice, helpful and very resourceful when it comes to local adresses!! His place is nice, simple and comfortable. The terrace is super cool and gives you a nice view over Mindelo! It’s 10min walk away from the city center and 30min from the beach where you can swim. Thank you so much for everything Paulo!

We've enjoyed Cindy's place a lot. It is perfect if you want to work remotely with a beautiful view or to just relax. It is very spacious and cosy. Terrace is definitely better than it looks on the pictures! The view is amazing! :) . We order traditional breakfast twice and got THE most delicious Catchupa we have tried on the island of São Vicente. I would definitely recommend this place further.

Le logement est impeccable et très agréable. Étant en dehors de la ville c'est un endroit extrêmement paisible. Pas d'inquiétude pour s'y rendre, tous les taxis connaissent l'adresse et vous y dépose pour un tarif très raisonnable. Très bon accueil de la part des autres merci à eux ! Je recommande a 100% !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement ! Accueil chaleureux, environnement magnifique et paisible, plage à proximité, logement confortable avec une belle terrasse sur laquelle il était très agréable de prendre les petits-déjeuners qui nous étaient apportés tous les matins (bien penser tout de même à préciser cette option en amont avec l’hôte)… Paradisiaque !! Deux petits point d’attention toutefois si vous envisagez d’y séjourner : - Sans voiture, l’accès est probablement difficile car, comme mentionné dans d’autres commentaires, le logement se situe au bout d’un long chemin de sable/pierres et en dehors du centre-ville de Porto Novo - Ne comptez pas trop sur la WiFi qui est assez aléatoire 😅😉 Néanmoins, nous recommandons les yeux fermés !! Nous aurions adoré rester un peu plus longtemps !! Un très grand merci pour l’accueil 😊

We loved staying at Anny's beautiful property. Everything is as described, and Anny provides many helpful things and little food items each day! The property is very nice, with a wonderful cool pool, and is about 30 minutes' walk from the town, all by the sea. If you do not want to walk there are endless taxis that can take you anywhere inexpensively. Anny can also help you rent a car cheaper, and we used it to circumnavigate the island. You can also hire a guide to drive you around, which is not very expensive either. Anny provides good advice about local places and restaurants, too. From the house you will be able to hear the incessant waves, which is great for sleeping. Nothing disturbs your quiet in this house. Antao is beautiful, with many peaks, a caldera full of clouds, and hiking paths - those are steep and not easy, but the views are rewarding. Food and cocktails are fresh, huge, and cheap. A great vacation!

Le logement est idéalement situé en bord de mer , très calme , on s'y sent bien. Anny a été on ne peut plus agréable et nous ne la remercieront jamais assez pour ses bons conseils bienveillants. Le couple travaillant pour la maison représente aussi parfaitement la gentillesse et l'humilité Cap Verdienne. Je n'ai qu'une envie c'est d'y retourner car une nuit est trop court pour apprécier le lieu. À bientôt 🥰.

Logement très spacieux assez bien équipé bien que nous n’avons pas trouvé de quoi faire sécher le linge. Immeuble très exposé au vent et fenêtres peu étanches. La piscine est, hors saison, inutilisable à moins d être motivé par l’eau très froide. Situation géographique éloignée du centre de mindelo, mais facilement accessible à pied ou en taxi. Réception et personnel de gardiennage très sympathiques et souriants. Logement confort mais assez impersonnel.

Carine est très accueillante et parle plusieurs langues ce qui facilite les échanges! Hôtel très propre. Petite piscine, avec seulement 4 transat, heureusement que nous étions seules (ou presque) à séjourner ici. À noter que l’eau n’est pas chauffée et plus froide que l’océan à proximité, donc la différence de température avec l’extérieur se fait bien ressentir! Mais une fois dedans c’est ok! Pas de « supermarché » dans le village, peu de restaurant, c’est très paisible hormis les chiens qui aboient toute la nuit ou presque : gardez les fenêtres fermées! Il y a une ventilateur au plafond dans la chambre. Chambre spacieuse! Nous sommes allées voir les Tortues avec les pêcheurs du coin, c’est très dépaysant et à faire!

mooie, ruime en schone verblijf. je hebt geen opgesloten gevoel door het vele licht binnen en de aanwezige balkonnen. alles is aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. je loopt zo het strand op. wil je de omgeving verkennen dan stap je zo op de bus die stopt voor de deur of pak je een taxi. genoeg te doen in de omgeving: restaurants, speeltuin, museum en het centrum is met de taxi binnen 5 min te bereiken + schoon + vriendelijk en behulpzaam + beveiling aanwezig + levendige omgeving + supermarkt vlakbij - hoge trap om bij het appartementencomplex te komen. (in gebouw zelf wel een lift aanwezig. zou een sleutel krijgen om via garage alsnog beneden de lift te kunnen pakken ivm kinderwagen. was uiteindelijk niet nodig. - op winderige dagen veel wind te horen in huis. opgelost met een doekje voor de rooster waardoor het niet meer te horen was in huis - balkondeuren konden niet op slot (geen probleem zat 8 hoog)

We were moved from our original booking to this apartment following a water issue in the building. Our host communicated with us and offered the change (it was un upgrade to what we had previously so it was a no-brainer to agree!) before we actually arrived in Mindelo. So hats off for being forward and helpful, we don't know what we would have done in the heat of Mindelo without water!!!! (water is very precious in Cape Verde, it hasn't rained in 3 years so don't take those issues lightly. Our host did very well by sending us into another apartment ). The apartment itself is big with 3 bedrooms. We were a group of 5 and were all very comfortable . The kitchen is big and functional . We didn't cook in there while we were in Mindelo. We indulged in local restaurants instead! And since the place is well located, we had a lot of options. The beach is literally across the street, and it's a very nice one too. And surprisingly not crowded (maybe we were at the wrong time of the year...). The beach club will provide you free wifi if you use their premises (we did. Their beach chairs with umbrellas were a blessing). All in all, we enjoyed ourselves very much and we have our host to thank for that.

Um espaço acolhedor, com uma decoração elegante e dispondo do equipamento necessário para que o hóspede se sinta comodamente instalado, para uma curta ou longa permanência, em descanso, lazer ou teletrabalho. Fica, assim, o desejo de voltar a este espaço que, sem qualquer hesitação recomendo a qualquer visitante que procure em Mindelo um apartamento acolhedor, administrado por uma anfitriã à altura da ética que deve fazer escola no seio da comunidade Airbnb. Eine schöne Wohnung in einer wunderbaren Stadt Sehr ruhig, 5 Minuten zum Strand, Bäcker, Geschäfte, Restaurants in nächster Nähe, ins Stadtzentrum sind es zu Fuß auch nur 5 Minuten. Das Highlight der Wohnung war für uns die Terrasse mit Meerblick, wir haben es genossen. Wir kommen wieder!

Un accueil remarquable et un beau logement permettant de profiter d'une partie plus sauvage de l'île. Merci à Euclides et Rose pour le soin apporté à nous faciliter notre séjour. Emplacement idéal pour le repos et le calme en prévoyant une location de voiture ou de scooter.
