The host was very warm and hospitable. The beach was just few steps from their home and I enjoyed it because it's not crowded. Then they introduced me to Calawagan River Resort where the water was cool and refreshing where it came from the mountain. By the way I love the kasoy and the atchara that they gave me!

if you're traveling to San Jose by airport, this is a great spot. its just 50 or so meters away from the airport gate.

Anthony, his business partner, and their staff were incredibly helpful and honest. They provided excellent recommendations and even went above and beyond when we accidentally left our money on the bed after checking out. It's truly a plus that they have a generator, a necessity when visiting Puerto Galera, as power outages are quite common in the area.

Our stay was nothing short of enchanting. The peaceful ambiance of the place instantly puts you in a state of relaxation, making it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The staff members were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, making us feel truly valued as guests. As shown in their pictures, the beach is a rounded rocky or pebble beach, with crystal-clear water where you can do a little snorkeling. You can visit the nearby sandy and semi-secluded beach/cove and rock formations by taking a few minutes' walk to the left side of the property. Overall, I recommend the place for those looking for a tranquil retreat with stunning beach views and exceptional hospitality. It's a hidden gem that offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure for all ages.

We have been a constant guest of ate Ana's place for a long time. If you need a getaway place where city life is out of reach. And want to relax and have your detox moment, this is the perfect place. It works for us! We can still work if needed, strong network coverage and no outage. Wet matket can be challenging so you better buy and bring all what you need in one trip. Ate ana's hospitality and generousity is impeccable as well. Babalik balikan!

A quiet little spot near a white beach—peaceful and perfect. The shore is a mix of stones and sand, but gentle enough to walk on barefoot. The property is ideal for sunset viewing, and the beach is swimmable, which we absolutely loved! Clean linens with a surprisingly fresh scent, plus great water pressure—definitely a 10/10 for us.

The place was wonderful. It was so serene since we had the whole thing to ourselves. Although the house needed a few renovations, it was super cozy and the wind came through and through from morning til afternoon. It was also chilly at night and surprisingly there were no mosquitoes. The beds and linens were neat and tidy, and the comfort rooms were clean as well. Vei and Ate Elen were very accommodating. We had alot of questions and they both were very responsive. Since the place was remote and there were no nearby restaurants, Ate Elen cooked all our food, and everything was divine! We just sent a menu request in advance and she took care of all the rest. She always made sure we were comfortable. She and her husband even booked the boat ride from Balatero for us and helped us set up a bonfire during our last night. We loved how we were welcomed with fresh buko juice. Just the ideal drink to quench our thirst on a hot summer day. We will definitely come back!

Amazing customer service at Sunset!!

Our family had a fantastic time staying here. Paul was very accommodating and worked with us to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Fantastic staff.

Actually we really love the place and the surroundings. I really want to commend Ate Gina for providing our needs and really helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the view of the place and everyone of us slept peacefully.

Jei was very helpful as a host, and was able to provide great options for us while we were there. Never had any issues while we stayed at her place. Highly recommended!

Great location and pet friendly! My family stayed for 3d 2n and we felt right at home. Kitchen is complete with all our needs to cook and store food. Christine was also very responsive and very accommodating! We were initially booked at a smaller villa but upon knowing our final headcount, she offered a bigger villa with no extra charge!

We had a good stay in La Primera Grande Beach Resort! Everyone was friendly, it was clean and everything was fine. In the beach resort itself, there is only breakfast service, but as there are other restaurants nearby, it was no problem. Princess was very kind and she even arranged an early check in for us. Thank you very much!

Hans was very communicative and although we did not meet him, he introduced us to his care taker via phone. Mrs. Lorna made sure that we were received at the ferry terminal at Puerto Galera by her husband who was holding a sign with my name. Once we got to the apartment, Mrs. Lorna made sure we had everything we needed, explaining all of the amenities and offering to introduce us to the tour guide (who is fantastic!) and to a housekeeper. We had a wonderful experience at this apartment. The AC worked, we had drinking water provided us to by Mrs. Lorna, and the apartment is about a 20 minute Trike ride from White Beach. The tours provided by the tour guide were fantastic. All of the kitchen amenities worked. Things to keep in mind - the apartment upstairs may be used by other people and there is a 5 - 7 minute hill to walk up to the house if not using a trike.

Location was nice. Stuff and the host were really helpful and friendly. I will definitely recommend the place for visitors who want to experience nature close environment close to great local people.

Awesome place! Even with the rainy weather, our stay was pleasant. This is only the 3rd airbnb we stayed in where there were house staff who cooked meals for the guests. We didn't have to go to restaurants all the time, and we were able to enjoy a real vacation. The house staff ate Cynthia and her family were very helpful and always happy to treat us like family guests. I am happy to know that the homeowner has been checking in on us, if we were comfy during the stay. We enjoyed the house Christmas decors as well, took nice family photos in the house. Norman who assisted in the booking was also very helpful with our questions. Looking forward to staying here again with a bigger group and hopefully when weather is sunny.

Liam and Arlene and their staff are top notch. Excellent resort to stay at and close enough to town. Excellent walking beach, safe, and only a 200 peso water taxi ride to Pandan Island for snorkeling, sea turtles, and cold drinks. All arranged by Your friendly accomodating hosts. MoiMoi is a playful little monkey boy that is a permanent fixture on Liams shoulder that is always looking to get into mischief. And he does indeed. Book your stay with them. Maganda yung lugar. Tugma naman sa mga pics. Sobrang kudos dun sa mag-asawang caretaker (limot ko names, sorry), kasi sobrang bait at accommodating nila. Nag-enjoy buong family. Mabato pero clear at di maalat yung dagat. Daming tulugan at malinis. Will definitely come back!
