Look out at the pristine City Hall with the Statue of Liberty and a bronze sculpture marking the city where Honest Abe visited just before announcing his run for Presidency. The original bricks and hardwood in this unique 170-year-old home have stood the test of time. Take a an elevator (or stairs) to the 2nd floor. Located in the heart of historic downtown Leavenworth, the First City of Kansas. Within a few blocks are several coffee shops, bakeries, boutiques, and bars. Located only 10 miles from the award-winning tourist town of Weston, which has many breweries, wineries, and hiking trails. You won't find this anywhere else! Original wide hardwood floors that were laid 165 years ago and the original brick walls that have stood the test of time. A view from nine windows that overlook our pristine city hall with the statue of liberty and statue of Abraham Lincoln. (Lincoln announced his run for presidency right there in Leavenworth!) And to think, he most likely walked across the street and came in our building as it was a saloon at the time! You will enter our loft from the street by keypad and there is a small room leading to our new elevator (big steel door) to take you to the 2nd floor. Directions for the elevator are on the wall. Very easy, just always close the white accordian door to elevator in case your party calls it from another floor. Your party is the only people who have access to this elevator. Ride a custom elevator to the open yet cozy space above the host's candle and gift boutique. The flat is a great base to explore KC, Fort Leavenworth, the county seat, and quaint Weston, MO. Shops, restaurants, coffeehouses, and bars are steps away. There is a large parking lot behind the building on 5th street. 65" tv, but we do not have cable. There is a dvd player, and you are welcome to hook your phone to the tv to watch your prime video, hulu, etc. That is what we do, and use the data from our phone or computer to display on the tv screen!

Our home, garden, stage & studio are part of this large complex. our Air B&B is a private large suite with its own parking and separate entrance. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Table Rock Lake, The James River, Silver Dollar City, Branson, hiking trails, boating, fishing, kayaking, shopping, and theaters are all within 10 miles.

Outdoor activity includes hammocks, swimming, boating (canoe, kayaks, john boat). For fishing we have boats, nets & fish-dressing station (bring poles & bait). About 13 miles from Palmyra and Monroe, nearest gas and groceries.

You’ll have access to our HOA boat ramp. We’re located on the Osage River Arm of Lake of the Ozarks on MM 84 (@ the power lines) and 15 minutes away from Truman Dam and Lake.

We finished building this modern Scandinavian cabin in spring 2020. It’s been featured in Vogue and on Magnolia Network. The cabin sits at the end of the road on a private lot with a perfect view of sunsets over the nature side of the lake. Drive past farm fields, into the woods, and onto our private gravel road, arriving at the driveway. Watch loons, tundra swans, eagles, beavers and deer while you relax by the lake. Pontoon boat rental is available as an add on! Pets welcome for a $90 fee!

Peaceful Getaway in the country, 15 min from Winnsboro. Right off main hwy, 3 minutes to grocery store, 20 minutes to Walmart. In between Monroe, LA & Natchez, MS - both cities one hour away. Great to visit them & come back to a tranquil setting away from the city noise. 20 minutes from fishing! Apartment is attached to our home. It has private entrance. There is WI-FI and Smart TV, no cable. We provide kitchen so you can make your own breakfast. Guests can remain completely secluded or visit!

Location! Location! Location! Our completely private, remodeled duplex is located just south of Hwy 60 in Springfield, MO. We are only a couple minutes from the closest grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping centers. The Battlefield Mall, Bass Pro Wonders of Wildlife, Cox and Mercy hospitals are all under 10 minutes away, and Downtown Springfield is a short 15 minute drive. If our East unit is a bit too small for your group, you can combine your booking with our West unit if available!

A newly built "tiny cabin" on 125 acres of Ozark fields and forest. Designed for those who want to sample a simpler life. Hike in our woods, ride bicycles, view wildlife, enjoy a bonfire and star gazing, or relax on the porch or in a hammock. The cabin is equipped with everything you need for your cabin experience, including a cooking supplies, linens, bath house and composting toilet. The cabin was originally built to be off-the grid, but now has electric, heat, ac, and a wood stove!

We have recently added a Finnish Sauna and Japanese Ofuro Soaking Tub. We accept well behaved dogs for a fee of $35 a night. We allow only guests and friends of the Pool House on the grounds, gardens or pool. Hosts are Jane, anthropologist and D. a retired photojournalist for the New York Times.
