Why not choosing the lovely Appenzellerland, between Lake Constance and the Säntis Mountain, where you can have all of it? Discover tranquility and relaxation in their original form: We offer a tiny, yet comfortable vacation rental for up to 2 people. The house is very easy reachable via public transportation; the post-van is 5 minutes to go, with direct connection to St. Gallen (with an overall travel time of 30 minutes). The apartment itself is in the basement of an old Stickerhaus, that is an embroiderer house where once the famous embroidery of the region have been manufactured. We guarantee leisurely days in an unconventional place.

Apartment on the first floor and second floor

The property is on Appenzellerstrasse, which leads from Gais to Appenzell. The house is bright and offers on the ground floor and 1st floor plenty of space for 3-4 people. It is a patrician house, ceilings are higher (2.20 m) than typical Appenzell houses. The kitchen is fully equipped. 2 high chairs for children/baby cots available. Dogs are welcome. Hiking trails start as soon as you cross the road. Important: A separate ad is also placed on Airbnb to rent the whole house (8 people).

Studio Narnia

The flat comes with a huge balcony / terrace from where you can see the Säntis (part of the Aplstein massif) and the historic village of Rehetobel. The flat itself has an ancient tiled stove, but modern heating as well. You can reach the village centre and the shop in a few minutes afoot. A small up-hill stroll grants you with a fantastic view of the Alpstein massif and Lake Constance. The village and near surroundings offer quite some restaurants, hiking paths and the like.

Welcome to our cozy 1 1/2 apartment in the heart of Gais! The apartment is sunny, quiet and centrally located and can accommodate up to 3 people. The apartment is located in a well-kept house and is only a few minutes' walk from the Alpstein Clinic (5 minutes' walk), outdoor swimming pool, Alpstein hikes, close to shopping, train station, etc. It has: fully equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi, Swisscom TV, coffee maker. A parking space is included. We speak German/English/French

Because right across the street from the apartment is the Bühler train station (Appenzeller Bahn). It runs twice an hour to Appenzell and St. Gallen. The apartment is located on the ground floor of a typical Appenzell apartment building. You can expect an ideal location, whether nature or city, both are within reach.

It is modern and comfortably furnished: elegant bathroom in black and brass, white lime plaster walls, heated design concrete floor, many windows, direct access to the garden. The light-flooded room, the tranquility and the garden invite you to relax. The views of hills and Alps make you want to hike & bike. The train station and village square with restaurants and a shop are just a few steps (4 min.) away.

Dreamlike family holidays in country house

Stay in an original Appenzell farmhouse renovated in spring 22 with 4 bedrooms, 1 living room + 2 bathrooms. The house is secluded in the middle of a sheep pasture. Nevertheless you are in 10min in the city of St.Gallen. It has parking for about 3 cars; 50m away there is a bus stop. It has a nice outdoor area with deck chairs and hammock for relaxation and with 2 barbecue areas. The large garden with slide, swing, sandbox etc. is ideal for children.

After a short but somewhat steep walk to the bungalow, you can enjoy the view of the Alpstein with our local mountain, the Säntis, on a cozy terrace. There are many walking and hiking opportunities directly from the house. Please note: From the parking lot, it is about 100 m on foot relatively steep up the hill to the beautifully located bungalow on the edge of the forest.

Just the thing for a cozy weekend for two or alone in the middle of nature !! An extensive organic shop in the nearby farmhouse is always open, even for late arrivals. If you are looking for luxury in the traditional sense, the Bird's Nest is not the right place. The luxury of the bird's nest is the wonderful simplicity. No TV, no radio, no Wi-Fi disturbs the peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast basket if desired: 12.00/person
