Rustic and homely little cabin right by the river. Very simple standard (no bath/water toilet), only outdoor toilet and outdoor shower (only during summer) with cold water. Water jugs with drinking water and water for cleaning/cooking are available. Here you wake up from river buzz and birdsong. The cabin has a garden, a fireplace and a path to the river with a swimming area during the summer. Dogs are welcome, but should be kept on a leash as the property is not fully fenced. Bed linen and towels are included. Wood for the wood-burning stove is available.

Closed child-friendly area where only residents have access to the road barrier. In the summer there is the possibility of swimming, fishing or hiking on worked up trails. With canoe you can visit several islands in the sea. Free loan of Canoe. The cabin is only a 1 hour drive from Gardermoen airport. In the winter, it is possible to drowning on the sea or go cross-country skiing on great trail networks at Trondsbu (18 km, must have a car) 550 METERS ABOVE SEA LEVEL. The house is charming and cozy and located right next to Mjøsa. Here you can wake up listening to the waves from the lake and see beautiful sunsets at the evening. Mjøsa is Norway's larges lake with great fishing. The house have a 120 meter private shore with a beach in the end. Perfect for kids (see picture for equipment). The ground is 5000 sqm so you have a lot of outdoor space. The house itself is 69 sqm. Ground floor consist of:livingrom, kitchen and bathroom. 2. floor consist of 2 bedrooms

For those who really want to experience the best Helgøya has to offer. Villa Leonore is a summerhouse built for Tram Director Dybwad's wife Leonore in 1915. A cozy garden leads down to its own beach at Mjøsa. Lovely perennial bed and a private kitchen garden to prepare in. You can relax on the porch with a good book, and cook delicious local and organic food, with the farm and area's own produce. There are great hiking opportunities at Helgøya, for walking, running and biking.
