Modern cabin with views in Stølsheimen

The cabin is newly built in 2019 and is located in the wonderful mountain area Stølsheimen. You have to have a car to access the cabin. You have to walk up a hill from the parking lot. The view from the cabin is wonderful and we have a big terracewith outside furniture so you can enjoy a meal or a drink at sunset. The cabin is an all year round cabin where you can ski during winter. There is also a ski lift a few minutes drive from the cabin. It’s mostly open on the weekends and public holidays. All year the mountains in the area are a wonderful place to go hiking! You can swim, camp and go fishing in the lakes. We have different toys both for outside and inside use. The cabin is well equipped with 4 bedrooms, kitchen and seating for 8. We have wifi, Apple TV, loudspeakers that you can connect your phone to. The bathroom has a double sink, washing machine, bathtub and a separate shower. We have linen and towels. We appreciate if you can wash the linen end towels and leave it to dry when you leave. The cabin is in the mountains, so no cleaners around. We have seen northern lights in January-march.

The cabin is perfect for 2 people, but the sofa bed makes it possible for 4 people. It will be cramped. Located in a great nature area offgrid with little tourism. Great skiing and hiking opportunities. approx. 1000m and walk from the road. Great opportunities for small game hunting. Without running water and electricity. Outdoor toilet. 700 meters above sea level There may be sheep or cows in periods during the summer around the cabin.

The cabin is located 450 meters above sea level. Close to nature, mountains and water. Here you can pick berries and mushrooms in the fall, enjoy many nice trips, both summer and winter. It is very family friendly and there are many animals to greet! In summer there are several nice swimming areas nearby. The cabin can accommodate 10 people with 3 bedrooms, 4 double beds. Bed linen is required to be used, if you do not bring your own, it can be ordered at an additional cost. NOK 150 per person The hot tub costs NOK 750 in addition, and must be booked in advance. The cabin is heated and there is a modern fireplace that provides amazing heat. We will be happy to help with trip suggestions, and other practical info. Stordalen is the North-West entrance to Stølsheimen landscape conservation area. About 1.5 hours drive from Bergen. Grocery store in Ostereidet, and in Haugsvær. Mountain lodge with serving. Easy access, parking 100 meters.

New cottage in the mountains with amazing views. Stordalen is located in Vestland County about 1.5 hours north of Bergen and 40 minutes south of Oppedal. The road up to the cabin area is a bit steep. Stordalen is the gateway to Stølsheimen and has many great hiking opportunities. Excellent tours up to 1000 meters above sea level nearby. Year-round road from E39 Matre Stordalen ski resort and prepared ski slopes. Unique location between Førde and Bergen makes it easily accessible. Maybe the perfect meeting place for the family?

For the active person who loves to explore wild and beautiful westland nature. Or just enjoy the silence in harmonious surroundings right by the river, surrounded by high mountains. It is about 8 min drive to Mo i Modalen where there is the possibility of swimming both in the pool and beach. There is also a café/restaurant, bowling alley. There is Coop Xtra, charging stations and a gas station. It is about 30 min drive to Gullbrå, which is a popular ski area in winter. It is 1h10min drive to Voss city center and 1h30 to Bergen.

To Voss it takes 1 hour to drive. The place offers great nature and nice hiking trails in forests and mountains. By the lake you can fish or swim. Fishing licenses must be purchased when fishing in rivers or water. A kayak is at your disposal. Boat rental in the area. Linen and towels are included. Wi-fi & Chromecast. No TV channels.

Mini cabin in the middle of nature

Opplev det enkle og fredelige hyttelivet midt i nydelig vestlandsnatur. Omgitt av fjell, elver, vann og skog ligger denne lille hytten tibaketrukket til. Her får du virkelig følelsen av å være midt i naturen. Området byr på fine turmuligheter både mot Stølsheimen og Matrefjellene. For klatrere ligger det flotte feltet for buldring i Matre en 5 minutt kjøretur unna, og en flott storvegg er like ved hytten. Hytten har også sin helt egen buldrestein et par minutters rusletur unna.

Mellom skogen og fjorden finner du hytten "Stokkely" i Stokkevika rett før Modalen. Her kan man fiske, bade, grille eller rett og slett bare slappe av. Tomten er på 6 mål med parkering rett ovenfor. Merk at det inntil den nye veien ned til hytten er klar er masse trapper gjennom skogen. Det er totalt 80 trappetrinn. Vannet i hytten kommer fra en nærliggende elv og bør kokes. Great hiking areas nearby, with opportunities for swimming and fishing in mountain lakes. The cabin is privately located with a stunning view. It’s a lovely place to enjoy both indoors and outdoors. Northern lights or a beautiful starry sky are not uncommon, both can be enjoyed around the fire pit.
