Casa Nepèta is famous in uphill Noto for our signature liqueurs and organic gardens—and now you get to join me, an expert mixologist, for a botanical and distillery tour, before crafting your own cocktail. • Immerse yourself in our gardens in Testa dell’Acqua, where we grow a variety of organic, aromatic herbs. As you wander through rows of fields, I’ll explain the properties of these plants, allowing you to pick, smell, and discover their unique characteristics. • Next, at Casa Nepèta, our distillery laboratory, you'll learn about the production process of our signature liquors. • As a highlight, you'll prepare your own botanical cocktail with herbs from the garden, paired with traditional Sicilian food. Draw upon 150 years of family tradition to learn the art of Sicilian cannoli in a hands-on pastry workshop at the historic Pasticceria Corsino. • I’ll welcome you to my family’s shop and introduce you to the history of Sicilian pastry-making, including the origins of cannoli. • You’ll tour our pastry laboratory, where I’ll lead you through the art of creating the perfect cannolo siciliano di ricotta, from mastering the crunchy shell to preparing the creamy filling. • In our elegant lounge, we’ll taste the freshly prepared cannolo, complemented by other Sicilian delicacies. Your treats will be paired with a glass of Passito wine or refreshing almond milk. Welcome to our farm, an organic farm since 2004, where we passionately produce extra virgin olive oil, almonds, honey aromatic herbs, and more. This is not just our workplace, our Farm in a Plateau just a 10-minute drive from Noto, it's our home, bordering on a Natural reserve and in front of an archeological site, we're thrilled to share this experience with you. Regenerative agriculture and traditional practice are both in the field and in the kitchen, with old recipes, and traditional ways to make it with the proper ingredients. We try to go back, and experience the essence of the Mediterranean Diet: fresh, simple, and predominantly plant-based, capturing the true taste of the Mediterranean. Discovering Ragusa Baroque

During this walk we will breathe the typical atmosphere of Ragusa alleys and we will admire the wonders of Baroque. After a summary of the main historical and social events that occurred in Ragusa over the centuries, we will start to walk from Saint John cathedral in Ragusa superiore (upper part). Then we will reach Ragusa Ibla (lower part), stopping at the different UNESCO palaces and churches. I’ll be at your disposal to take you photos on the background of the main panoramic spots and impressive views. :) Other things to note: MINIMUM 2 ADULTS. DISCOUNTS FOR GROUPS! Foraging, cookery and lunch at Agriturismo Stallaini

I am Manuela and I will welcome you to our family farm which is located in a redeveloped stone quarry. We will take a walk in our fields to recognize the edible wild plants and collect the vegetables and fruits that we will use to prepare an authentic Sicilian meal. Returning from the walk we will move to the kitchen where we will put our hands in dough using our wholemeal Sicilian wheat flour for fresh pasta and our extra virgin olive oil to enhance the vegetables and herbs collected. We will make a complete typical Sicilian menu that we will taste together with our natural wine. Other things to note if you want you can also stay with us and enjoy all the services including swimming pool and spa.

We invite you to a cooking class at our farm in the hills of Noto. The place where Annarella and I (Bio Farmer since 2007) decided to live. Not just a workplace or an exhibition for tourists, our farm is our home where we share our passion for the most important part of Sicilian/Italian culinary heritage: the opportunity to learn how to use fresh, locally sourced ingredients. With our farm approach, we will guide you through the process, in a simple way, teaching you the techniques and tips needed to create masterpieces of Sicilian Mediterranean culture. You will start the class by visiting our farm (a beautiful ancient plateau on the Noto hills) where you will have the opportunity to know more about the ingredients. Then, you will join Annarella in the kitchen, where you will learn to make some dishes. At the end of the class, you will enjoy a complete meal together, where you can savor the fruits of your labor and more, tasting products of our farm and our wine production. Wines, vineyards and hosts of Sicily

Sicily is the land of wines and cradle of great terroir for this reason I would like to share our wine and food experiences with other wine lovers. I will bring you to discover cellars and labels less known but not for this less interesting. I propose myself as glass friend without getting bored about textbook “tasting techniques”. It will be an informal meeting where we will share the pleasure of good wine and typical products. You could visit wineries and productions less known and “underground”of the island, between Siracusa, Noto and Catania. We will decide the timetable together according on availability and budget.

Genuine Sicilian Typical Lunch in Countryside

We want to invite you to have a typical homemade sicilian meal in our beautiful countryside, surrounded by olive trees and unspoiled nature! We’ll eat outdoor under a big olive tree, otherwise indoor in our stone house if weather won’t allow. You will discover the real taste of genuine food, because we don’t use industrial ingredients! Before cooking we will take a walk in our land to gather some of the ingredients we will use, such as fresh vegetables from our organic garden (tomatoes, lettuce, eggplant, zucchini and the huge “Giarratana” onions in summertime) and wild herbs that we'll teach you to recognise. We will tell you the story of our old stone house and how we restored it slowly by ourselves. We will be happy to answer all your questions about our lifestyle and our land! After that you can help us cooking: we really love to cook "scacce" (our tipical street food), homemade pasta and pizza with organic flour from an ancient stone mill. Our favourite condiments are sauce from our tomatoes and of course our extra virgin olive oil from "Tonda Iblea" olive trees. During lunch you can taste "Nero d'Avola" red wine (or fresh "Insolia" white wine in summertime) from a prestigious local winery near home. I declare that this activity meets the guidelines for food handling based on the Five Key Points for Safer Food Program of the Pan American Healt Organization. Other things to note If the weather will be too bad (sometime it happens also in Sicily!) probably we won’t be able to take a walk, but we’ll still have lunch with our products and we will spend more time in the kitchen.

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of one of the Mediterranean's secret gardens, just steps from the Unesco monuments of the old town of Ragusa Ibla and off the beaten path. During a quiet one-hour walk, passing through historic plots of land, surrounded by aromatic plants, flowers and trees typical of the region, we will have an authentic experience in an uncommon place. Be very careful: it is not uncommon to meet some "guests" around our garden, such as frogs, urchins and birds. Finally, we will end our walk with an aromatic plant together.

Olive Oil & Typical Products Tasting and Oil Mill Tour

We will visit one of the oldest and most prestigious oil mills in Italy: the Oleificio Gulino, founded in 1880. Within the mill, during the month of October, if there are some olives to mill you will participate live to the olive oil process, otherwise and during the other months, a video will be projected on the big screen that will illustrate all the phases of olive oil production and ecosustainable re-use of olive processing by-products. Consecutively, will take place a tour within the oil mill next to the machineries, where the characteristics and the functions will be explained. Afterwards, we will do a professional tasting of the award-winning olive oil "Erbesso" will follow; this olive oil has a wonderful smell and taste and has won over 130 international awards and recognitions. Furthermore, we will taste some flavoured olive oils with Lemon, Mandarin, Chili Pepper, Rosemary, Basil, Garlic, Porcini Mushroom, White Truffle and Barbecue and some seasoned bread with a wide selection of typical Sicilian products. If you do not have a car to reach us, we can arrange for you a transfer with driver. Costs are variable and depend on distance; write us an email whether you need this service.

Star Gazing and Cosmology on the beach

We will meet on the street in front of Hotel Eloro. From there we gonna hike for about 10 Minutes along the seaside. There we start our experience and emerge ourselves in ancient astronomy. Together we will be spotting the appearence of the first stars in the nightsky. You will learn the recognize the main constellations of the particular season, the visible planets, other star constellations an the north star. I will show you some techniques to navegate the nightsky by yourself everever you are. During oir sit together under the night sky I will share some mythic starry stories.
