Lake house holiday rentals in Mono Lake

Buddha Retreat is lovely, comfortable, spacious and our host was attentive and generous. The home is very close to the entrance of Yosemite(30 minutes), and it is an hour and 15 minutes total to get to the Yosemite Valley from Buddha Retreat where most of the major sites are. We all felt that we had been taken 'care of' and that our experience surpassed our expectations. I think that is all you can hope for when you are away from your own home. We had discovered a couple of things that we thought we needed to share with our host for future guests and thought that our host would take in this information and correct it for the future guests, but instead it was dealt with immediately. It was surprising at first, but really was consistent with the superior attention that we had already received. I think you will be very pleased. We were.

Alaina's cabin is paradise. Gorgeous setting looking over Pine Mountain Lake. Beautiful space inside. Our family of 7 enjoyed all the rooms and amenities. Kayaking and paddle boarding. Playing board games on the deck. Meals at the large dining table. It was perfection and I highly recommend! Alaina answered all questions quickly and with kindness. 10/10

I like the place they made it so warming and home all the things are there or you need. I love my staying in the house.

The place was very cozy and perfect for our friend group mammoth snowboarding trip. The place was bigger than it seemed in pictures and very comfortable for 8 people. Close to a grocery store and the lodges. Overall great experience here. Just a little difficult to find at first. The stove top had a crack so we couldn’t use one burner. But we were still able to cook big meals. We would book here again if we come to mammoth!

We had a great stay. The fishing was fun and we caught some bluegill. Spotted some trout and bass but they were not biting. The house was great, clean, and perfect for our stay. The multiple decks were nice and we enjoyed our coffee out there. The management company provided great instructions. The home really added to our awesome Yosemite trip. Thank you for a great time.

A great stay in this spacious, bright and well appointed home. The deck was a huge plus that added to the feel of indoor/outdoor living. Very private space with in a quiet and scenic neighborhood.

The cabin was very cute and perfectly located for our needs and wants. Very quiet cabin inside.

Comfortable beds (I like firm beds) with pressed linens. Nice quality towels. Thoughtful bottles of water at the nightstands for those dry, high altitude nights. Good airflow for sleeping. Clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the deck for Star gazing and for morning coffee. Well stocked kitchen tools for cooking. Lara was easy to communicate with and very thoughtful. Had a great weekend under the sugar pines!

Charlie was such a great hostess! She was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay. As far as the location, it was amazing! The house was huge and very private. There’s plenty to do within the house itself. I would recommend if you’re using this house for a Yosemite trip, take the South entrance as it is not only closer, but more beautiful.

My family and I stayed here to be close to Yosemite, and it was a pleasant, just over 30-minute drive to get there. The house is easy to find in a quiet, beautiful area, close to town where there are stores and restaurants. The house was perfectly clean, and everything was as described. My family all agreed that we did not want to leave because it was a wonderful stay. We plan to come back to Yosemite, and we plan to stay here again!

My family and I enjoyed our time, the home is very close to the Bass Lake as well as many other hiking trails. The home is very accommodating as far as space and amenities. overall, we had a great experience and look forward to doing it again. I would also reach out to rent the same Air BnB again in the future.

We had a fantastic time staying at your beautiful home and property. We enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful surroundings including the horses, dogs, and lake. We fished, kayaked, and fed the horses carrots. Stan was so inviting and helpful - even gave us some of his yummy homemade baked goods! Such a treat! We can’t wait to come back and stay again! Highly recommended!

We LOVE this cozy home right by the lake. It has everything you need! Great views and walking distance to a semi private beach area & dock. The house is clean and has all the amenities you would need for a family vacation. The swamp coolers keep the place cool, even in very hot weather. We cannot wait to go back!

Great place to stay! We were visiting Yosemite National Park and it was a great location. My husband utilized the golf course that the house is located on and really enjoyed it! Jake and his wife were super helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location! Hard to find any complaints with such lovely scenery all around you. Home was spacious and had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. There was a slight hiccup with arrival - when putting in the home address into the gps it took us to a resident entrance that we were unable to go through. Had to reroute the visitor entrance - luckily there is a sign with the correct address, but would’ve preferred to know beforehand.

We had an awesome time at the Sunshine cabin. It was in a great location, clean, and felt very homey.

Best Stay in Chamonix Yet! We’ve stayed in 4 different units in Chamonix over the years, and this one was by far the nicest! The condo looks to have been recently redecorated and feels both modern and cozy. Everything from the furniture to the decor is thoughtfully done—truly a perfect spot for our family trip. The condo comfortably fit our family of 5, with plenty of room to spare. The bedding and towels were top-notch, and every room was clean, adorable, and incredibly comfortable- especially the cute loft for our kids. Location is perfect—just a super short walk to Canyon Lodge, or you can easily hop on the shuttle to the Village. Nicole was an amazing host—responsive, helpful, and made everything incredibly easy from check-in to check-out. We’ll definitely be booking this condo again for our next trip to mammoth - in summer or winter!

The space was well kept, very welcoming and danielle even left my mom a birthday card. Very nice hosts and very kind gesture. Was very cozy like our own home. We definitely will be booking here next time we are in area!

We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay. Its location was exactly we were looking for, its warm interior and furnishings were so inviting, the amenities were excellent as was the water pressure in the shower. The washer-dryer worked very well and the kitchen layout was ideal. Also, having a morning cup of coffee on the deck that overlooks a gorgeous vista was icing on the cake! We would definitely rent again!! The host is terrific!
