Holiday rentals with lake access in Montague County

Great location right on the lake! Well equipped with everything we needed to have a great time. Looking forward to staying there again!

We will defiantly stay at Marty’s place again. You cannot beat the private setting and beautiful lake views. We used the kayak and paddle board which worked great. Fishing from the dock was also wonderful. It was new, clean, dock was very safe. The house was also very new and clean with plenty of room for all our guests. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend on the lake give it a visit.

I stayed at this location for several months while working temporarily in Decatur and Alvord, Texas. I stayed alone and found the area quiet and peaceful. Shawn was a great host and communicated often regarding grounds maintenance. This is a lakefront property with wonderful views. If I find my way back to Decatur or Alvord, I will call Shawn and see if his property is available. Thank you, Shawn, for a great stay.

Great place, wonderful hosts, just beautiful!

Cheryl was so friendly and responsive. The home had a lovely lake view and the beds were comfortable. Her kitchen was fully stocked and clean, and there were plenty of fresh linens for the beds. I used the futon in the living room for my son and I appreciated how Cheryl kept comfy padded mattress covers in her closet along with plenty of extra sheets and blankets so that I could make the futon comfortable for him. Overall, it would be a great place to bring some kayaks and some fishing poles.
