I was for a long time a war correspondent and, in my journeys, I always made a point of bringing back a book, a carpet, a stone, a painting, a fragment of memory so that the world may live in my Roman home. The flat is available for brief stays but also for longer periods. Being less than a block away from the Opera Theatre, it could be the perfect base for singers and musicians. The light is important, I believe and the silence as well. The loft is on the 6th floor, with the elevator. Access is via a small square, typical of the center of Rome, a few meters from the Colosseum. Independent entrance, unique for combining ancient walls and design furniture, 50 m2 on two levels, equipped with all comforts: a/c, private sauna for two, TV, Wifi. Bathroom with window, living area with kitchenette, double bed, shower. We like to imagine that the ancient tuff wall and the brick arch, preserved inside, were part of a Roman cistern for shows of naval battles.
