Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

On top of offering an amazing view of the fjord right from the sofa, our apartment is made for those who want to be away from light pollution of big cities and enjoy the northern lights, as well as experiencing local culture and food. Enjoy the midnight sun or the northen lights. Above all, we want you to have a very good stay. That's why we offer you free rental of bicycles, snowshoes, canoes, firewood, barbecues and kayak for those with experience. The apartment is on the first floor and has large windows. It is in the nature surrounded by the ocean, white coral beaches, islets and reefs, you can see this trough the apartment windows. Park right outsidee and indside you really have everything you might need.

All while staying at our newly built cabin in Malangen, only 1 hour by car from Tromsø. Only a couple of minutes by foot, you have a local store, boat rental and a beautiful beach, for your enjoyment.

Cosy cabin by the sea. Located in a calm area containing family cabins. A perfect area for watching the Northern lights with no distraction from cars and neighbours. Only peace and quiet. You can drive your car right up to the cabin where you can easily park. In the winter i recommend a 4wd car because of a steep road
