We live in a holiday complex, with a great pool, barbecue area,guest toilets and showers. We are 80 meters to the bus stop and 100 meters to the boardwalk that will take you into Airlie Beach. (45min easy walk) Coles and bottleshops are 10 minutes walk and the local gym is across the road, a laundry mat is only 100 meters away. If you are going on an overnight boat trip , your excess luggage can be left. If available I will drop you to yr boat. I do not charge a cleaning fee.

I had a wonderful stay at Gina’s place. She communicated clearly and was incredibly warm and welcoming. The unit was spotless, with fresh, clean linen that smelled amazing. Gina was very responsive and also respected our privacy throughout the stay, which I really appreciated. I’ll definitely be returning! The location is stunning—surrounded by trees and natural beauty. Her apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed, so we didn’t have to ask for a thing. ♥️

We had such a lovely stay – clean, cosy, and super well-equipped with everything we needed. The space felt peaceful and homely, and it was perfect for both the kids and the dog. We really appreciated the little touches, and the host was lovely to deal with! The only downside was the school traffic during drop-off and pick-up times, with cars parked across the front strip and down the side – something to be mindful of if you’re planning to head out around those times. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay, and we’d happily come back again!

Curlew cottage is a lovely private and peaceful cottage in the rainforest yet only 10-15 minutes from the exciting bustle of Airlie beach. Rhonda is an amazing and attentive host and has providing everything you need from jams and sauces to a lovely cheese platter. The outside bathroom is a fantastic addition to a tropical retreat.
