Staying at Georgoshouse was the most beautiful part of our trip through Crete. The family made us feel right at home and took great care of us without being overbearing. The surroundings are gorgeous. This place is definitely worth a visit - or two!

Firstly, ahuge thank you to George and Christina for letting us stay at their wonderful Property. As hosts they were absolutely wonderful and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived until we left . Christina is so lovely and showed us round the property how to use everything and seemed that absolutely nothing would be to much trouble if we needed anything at all. We have stayed in some wonderful properties all over Europe, Australia, Japan, and Morocco . This is definitely one of our favourite Airbnb‘s we have used. Firstly, the property is exactly as described. The photos are a mirror image of what you will see hen you arrive. One of the best things about the property is how homely it feels and the house has everything you need. My boys loved the basketball & pool the outside movie projector tops it off. We had the best time in the villa chreal! We were 14 people and the house was perfect for us! Agapi is the friendliest host we ever met, she organized us cars for rent, gave us tipps for beaches and nice adventures and even if we had little personal problems she fixxed everything for us! Best communication! We were allowed to eat a homegrown melon and tomatoes from the garden next to the pool and in the middle of the week she came and cleaned the whole house for us…best service ever! The house was really beautiful and absolutely clean and has a lovely pool with a great view. There is nothing negative to say! Thank you so much!!

A fantastic house with wonderful sea views and all the comforts! Tastefully decorated with good quality both indoors and outdoors. Very private location without visibility. Lovely balcony with pool, parasols and outdoor furniture. We were personally received in the house at the appointed time and were given a tour of the house and all its features, as well as a basket of specialties from Crete. Walking distance about 5-10 minutes to Plakias with shops and restaurants. The only thing we wished for was a few more hooks to hang clothes on.

Book this! Amalen Suites (only 5 for the entire property) is in the perfect spot! Close to everything but at night quiet and extremely secure! My favorite part of my stay was the staff that ran Amalen! Thank you so much Maria, Jakob, Tolis, and Josie!!! Everyone was so so so kind and gave amazing recommendations for my stay. The breakfast served every morning was phenomenal as well!!! Oh and! My all time favorite products are used at this location (Olive Era) so I was able to buy some bottles to take home too. And because I was traveling alone they checked in with me everyday and made sure I was safe during my stay which means a lot! I truly had an amazing time at this hotel and highly highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND for couples that are traveling through Crete. The city in which Amalen is located is large and can be tough to find parking all of the time so I also did love that this was close to many restaurants, shops, IG worthy cute alleys and a 2 minute walk to the ocean. Villa Emmanuela is the absolute dream: meticulously clean, very high quality and tastefully furnished and everything you need, the perfect "second" home. Particularly noteworthy is the explicit hospitality of the host families, we felt cared for at all times and spoiled with delicious treats.

This was the nicest Airbnb I've ever stayed in! To note, though, that this review is for the East Villa, as we had booked the West Villa, but the host kindly offered to switch us. The patio area of the East Villa looks nicer than the West Villa, as it's bigger and has a breathtaking view of the ocean. The villas are only a few months old, and everything was spotless. Mary was always responsive, which was crucial as we had booked last minute. She arranged for a contact person to meet us at a location nearby, who then led us to the villa. The location is a bit remote, but it's close to Lake Kournas and completely private. The village of Kournas is also nearby, and Chania is about an hour away. It was so comfortable that I didn't want to leave! The highlights for me were the view, the pool, the rainfall shower, and the pillows. There was also a bottle of wine in the fridge, and even though we broke something at the place, they were very polite and didn't mind at all. Truly a dream!

We enjoyed our stay in Maria’s apartment. The rooms were exactly like shown on Aibnb: it was very clean, the beds were comfortable , the kitchen was well equipped. The house is in a quiet area of the village. Maria left us little Christmas gifts and an array of Greek delicacies. Thank you, Maria.
