Renovated chapel in Vidlin, Shetland

MichaelRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We really enjoyed our stay at the Chapel, it is a beautiful property and incredibly well equipped with almost anything you could possibly need in terms of kitchen equipment. It has a very comfortable lounge area with a large smart TV and a very comfortable king bed. We couldn’t fault anything. We loved being in Vidlin, it is a quiet village in a stunning location but not too far to drive to other places in Shetland. We would highly recommend this listing. We were thrilled to see otters at dusk near the Vidlin ferry terminal.

1 bedroom apartment

MartinRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This is a great little place for two people. Not in the middle of Lerwick which we thought made this the better option for us. (Lerwick can get swamped out with boat people - migrants! from the cruise ships. Why can't they go on normal holidays like everyone else?) It's really well thought out and Callum and Miranda have designed it so cleverly that it's a really efficient use of the available space. Callum and Miranda are right next door. They are excellent hosts. I also want to mention the excellent O.S. maps that they keep in the apartment. If we come back definitely staying there again.

An Island Croft with Sea Views

AlasdairRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Coral’s place was great. It was very comfortable, and so quiet and peaceful. She was extremely helpful whenever we had questions and did her best to make sure we were comfortable. She has an excellent eye for design and has put just the right touches in the cottage. The beds are very comfy. Great stay.

Nortaboot - beautiful home by the sea

A very nice house in which nothing is missing. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the sea view very much. Nikola is always available, very accommodating and very friendly. The location of the house is excellent for excursions all over the main island.

Rocklea

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Rocklea, it is a beautifully decorated Victorian house with lots of character and every modern convenience. It felt like a real ‘home from home’ from the moment we arrived with a really comfortable lounge, a well-equipped kitchen and a bedroom with a fantastic view of the shore which is right in front of the property. It was one of the best Airbnb properties we have ever stayed in and we could not fault anything. Walls is a great base for exploring this beautiful and quiet part of Shetland and there are lovely walks from the property without even taking the car. If you are in Walls on Friday lunchtime we recommend the cafe at the kirk!
