Beachfront holiday rentals in Muri

Wow! This place looks even better than the photos, it is literally on the beach, white coral sand all the way to the steps to get inside, like a movie. We were a group of 4 adults ( myself, husband and 2 adult kids) the set up couldn’t be more perfect for this kind of family group, the master bedroom/ensuite is connected but just off the main part of the house so would suit any family with older kids that you don’t need to see to during the night. The lounge and master both have tvs with Netflix. There is a massive fridge and everything you need in a kitchen, bbq on the deck. Also loved the kitchen had all the essentials like oil, s & p, condiments etc ( heaps of air bnbs don’t have this and it’s annoying). The only thing I wanted that was missing was a coffee plunger but I bought one and donated it for future guests. The beach directly in front is calm and shallow, perfect for kids and a morning dip. Bar next door is chill except weekend but shuts promptly at 10, No problem at all.

Great stay for our family with little kids. The house was just as described in the listing. The beach out front was quiet and shallow for the kids to swim, kayak and snorkel. The pool was a very nice bonus, being fully fenced meant we could relax without having to worry about the kids. The air-con's all worked well and the kitchen was very well stocked. A great stay, with good communication from Mark.

Excellent stay. Made sure I felt welcomed even when my flight arrived very late at night. I will definitely be returning!

Jaewynn was very welcoming and had put extra touches like milk in the fridge and some flowers. She was very helpful and when we had a hot water issue she dealt with it straight away. The house is very private, with its own parking space and lovey little garden. It is in a great spot close to the main town and the airport and lots of places to eat. We had a lovely week staying there.

Anchor sands is a hidden gem of the cook islands, we are so glad we choose this Airbnb instead of a resort. We have 2 teenagers 14 & 16 and this place was perfect for us, kids could sleep in their own rooms with out being woken up by other guests. We were able to connect to the TV and stream Netflix and Prime. But best of all was the location, the best snorkelling and fish - straight in front of the house. We would see the tour boats anchor out the front each (far out, not close to the shore), so that tells you its a good spot for snorkelling. But best of all was the view from the deck, we sat their for hours each morning having coffee, relaxing and reading books. Its close to shops, not to far from town (25mins), Go Local turtle tours is just down the Road, Same with Wigmores (who do the best ice creams), and some great restaurants too, like Charlies, Vaima on the Beach, Little Polynesia. We feel staying here made our holiday, it is an exceptional property and location. Thank you!!!

Julie and I would like to thank Lotu from the moment I booked the communication was first rate . The property was perfect for the two of us and was exactly as described and only had to walk out the back door to be on the Lagoon The fruit basket coffee tea even milk in the fridge was appreciated Also a big thankyou to Sala who called in regularly to see if we needed anything We couldnt have been any happier and didnt want to leave after our 4 week stay Once again Thankyou. Mark was great! Any issues we had, he was very helpful. Location made it accessible to muri and heaps of other beautiful beach spots and local supermarkets!

Sunset Quay is a perfect place to rejuvenate, relax or a perfect location for adventure. We had a group of 8 adults- 3 couples and 2 singles and had more than ample space for everyone to get some privacy and the common areas made it perfect to gather, play games and talk story.. the pool was beautiful, clean and refreshing. We ventured to Muri a couple of times and we're SO happy we chose this location instead. Murray had more mosquitoes, snorkeling was not as good and there is no sunset on that side of the island. walk down the beach a short ways to restaurants, a beach bar and more stunning beaches. all in all, one of our best group trip locations ever! A beautiful spot right on the beach at Muri. It’s a great option for 2 people. The villa is about the size of a good hotel room with a modest kitchen. All of the Muri restaurants are a few mins walk away. We swam in the lagoon mostly as the water was so warm. Joy is a real people person - very helpful and genuine.

Absolutely lovely. The two totally private, walled in garden areas were a highlight. The room was well equipped and very comfortable. Rick, the owner, was delightful. Definitely hope to come back soon.

Loved our stay at The Heritage. We were two couples and with an ensuite each, the house was perfectly set up. Private access to the beach, and yet screened from passers-by through the beautiful garden. Picture perfect sunsets. The lagoon is quite shallow at this point, even at high tide it isn't great for ocean swimming, but great for snorkelling and would be good for young kids to paddle in. The benefit is you can walk all the way to the reef at low tide, which was a great way to view starfish and other sea creatures. Quiet part of the island, Muri would be the best place if someone is looking for action, but it suited us fine. There are a few beach bars and restaurants in walking distance, recommend the Waterline Bar. There's a bus stop right at the driveway and the main town of Avarua is only 15min by bus. The whole island is easily accessible by the bus system. Eddie was a great host, very responsive and direct communication. Couldn't fault the house, the host nor the destination.

Tuaine was incredibly friendly and helpful. Home had everything needed for our family vacation and the location was amazing and as described. Happy to recommend this villa - beautiful setting with just a few steps from the deck to lagoon paradise! Wonderful holiday.

My wife & I stayed at Joy & John's wonderful beachfront villa for 12 days and it was pure bliss from start to finish. Joy is an absolute dream host and such a lovely person and even organised transfers to and from the airport for us. She even drove us to the other side of the island one night which is no big deal but she didn't have to! The villa is very spacious, clean, airy, fully equipped with all you could possibly need, a view to die for and only a handful of steps to the beach/lagoon. The kayaks and snorkelling equipment were well used and a great bonus. Only a two minute walk from a great little coffee stand (almost daily visit!) and close to many great eateries including the night market for some incredible food. Regularly walked along the beach to many of the nearby hotels and bars on the beach. Couldn't possibly have asked for anything more from this villa, absolute perfection and it made my 50th birthday all the more special. Thank you Joy & John

Great location, near restaurants and bars without any noise from the bars effecting this quite property. You could not ask for more facilities, kayaks, secluded pool all right on the beach. The unit was as described with lots of space to enable a relaxing break.

Excellent accommodation in Matavera, Cook Islands Spacious with plenty of room for 4 adults. We booked the top floor which had 3 big bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms 2 of which were ensuite bathrooms Open plan living area with lots of room to entertain. Part of the shower door in the 3rd bathroom was missing, we were advised on arrival, luckily there were 2 other bathrooms to use! Linen was excellent and the home was very clean and tidy. The view from the expansive deck overlooking the beach was excellent and we were lucky to stay in whale season so we saw whales on a daily basis which was great! Less than 100m walk to local shop which supplies all you would need. Excellent burger joint next door also! Can't swim on beach directly outside the property, but the swimming beach is not far down the road. Staff were friendly. Would book again!

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was spotless, well-equipped with everything from towels to linen, and had a great space to unwind and watch TV (WiFi was great!). The location was unbeatable—walk straight from the deck to the beach for kayaking or spotting incredible fish in the water just out in front of the property. You're a short stroll from the local night markets for dinners (4 nights a week!) or some fantastic restaurants. Shona and Paul were the perfect hosts—friendly and welcoming, but gave us plenty of space, checking in just enough to offer help or tips. A newly added spa (not listed when we booked) was a huge bonus—we spent hours soaking after kayaking or when the weather turned. Kayaks are provided too! Bonus tip: chat to Paul about his legendary hot sauce… we may have purchased a few bottles :) If we’re back in Raro, we’ll definitely stay here again!

We stayed for a week in this little piece of paradise. Right on the beach, with a quality deck overlooking the lagoon, this place was sensational. Had everything we needed, including snorkeling gear, and our hosts were friendly and responsive to messages. Would love to come back!

The beachfront accommodation is cozy and comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The wifi is fast, the air conditioner is efficient, and the kayak is a nice bonus. The host is very welcoming and generous, offering a delicious fruit platter on arrival. The chickens and the local friendly dogs add to the charm of the place. We had a great time at Sane and Joseph’s place. The highlight was the beachfront location with the ability to snorkel off the beach. The hosts were very helpful and accomodating, providing a cot and high chair for our baby. There were a few ants around and we weren’t able to leave the doors open due to mosquitos, but these were minor. Overall would highly recommend.

SBYT's is like a home away from home . Located in such a beautiful spot on the island, and the facilities made our stay so comfortable! A great place to spend our first week holidaying in Rarotonga!
