We had such an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Norton Shores, right on Mona Lake! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, well-decorated, and thoughtfully prepared EVERYTHING was. By far the nicest home I’ve stayed at. The house felt like a true retreat—peaceful, inviting, and incredibly comfortable. One of our favorite features was the hot tub, which we enjoyed both during the day and under the stars at night. It was the perfect way to warm up after beach time or boating, especially since the weather was cooler than usual for June. The house had cozy spaces for everyone to relax, and it was fully stocked with everything we needed for an stress-free trip. This home was the perfect home base for our Muskegon adventures, and we’re so grateful for the chance to stay here. Highly recommend for families, dog owners, and anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside escape.

I stayed with my corgis and it was a wonderful experience! The laminate floors were great with the pups and lack of clutter meant they counting back and forth almost through the whole place! At sunrise they watched as the floaters, kayaks, and canoes started to come by and even accompanied me fishing. Great location, very quiet and peaceful, and definitely the recharge I needed! I will be back with the pups and the kayak! Jon is very responsive and helpful, and it was so nice to be able to bring both dogs! Definitely worth the trip!

Nice little cabin, just a block from the water. The inside was clean and tidy. It rained one day on our stay so we stayed in and started a fire in the fireplace. Very peaceful. No issues with anything at all! The lake was nice and not too busy but it is connected to Lake Michigan so you get some bigger boats out there. It’s only 35 minutes to Silver Lake, so we went there for a day as well. Good location from Chicago!

Kathy did an amazing job renovating this property, and we really appreciated all of her personal and special touches, such as the handmade pottery dishes in the kitchen and decorative touches around the house. We are a very crafty family and really appreciated her artistry. It was a very comfortable stay all around, the beds were super comfortable, towels fluffy, and every kitchen amenity we could possibly need was provided. The view from the house is amazing, and it’s a great location on the lake, just a short drive from Montague. We had only wished there was a fire pit next to the house, and not just down at the lake as there were several people in our party who are not able to travel up and down the stairs due to knee issues. Also, if you are a light sleeper I would recommend the upstairs bedrooms, you can hear every footstep upstairs from the basement bedrooms. All in all, Cathy is an excellent host, the house very comfortable and convenient, and we absolutely recommend.

We loved our stay at Daniel's cabins and will definitely come back. We were really pleased with how clean our cabin was and how helpful Daniel was. We enjoyed the little beach, dock, and rowboats and caught a few fish. There was more provided than listed too. Thanks for a great stay, Daniel!

cozy cabin on the Lakeshore! this was a perfect little spot to spend a few days while in the area. about a half hour from silver Lake, as well. loved the private beach access!

There was a slight hiccup with our reservation but Daniel graciously accommodated us anyway, for which we were very grateful. We loved being on the water and watching the sunset. We also enjoyed exploring the area. It was a great trip. Thanks, Daniel!

We really enjoyed our stay at your home. There were 10 of us with room to spare. The house was beautiful with everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. It was more than the pictures showed. Everything was well maintained and very clean. The beach was gorgeous and basically private with only a few other homes nearby. We will definitely be back.

Mary's property is absolutely gorgeous! The property has a main home with a dog - even though we love dogs and wanted to say hello, they were very respectful and kept the dog around the main area, so as not to bother us. They have various cabins on the property, and ours was right on the water, near the shed with all the games and supplies, and the fire pit. There are grills, and Mary includes supplies in case you forgot something - like sunscreen or bug spray. There's also charcoal, grilling utensils, and wood for a fire. You have access to their MASSIVE collection of their non-motorized water activities - including rafts, tubes, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, row boat, and more. The cabin is perfect - there's an outdoor screened in area, plenty of seating space, a full kitchen with the basics for cooking, and all the appliances in our building were this cute vintage style and light blue color. The beds were comfortable, the place was very clean, and it exceeded expectations. The lake is stunning, and the water was surprisingly pleasant for a mid-September visit. We came for my birthday and were absolutely in love with this property. Thank you so much for a fantastic visit. We hope to come back next year!!

We need an escape from the city- something just a little off the grid. Perfect little retreat! Cottage had everything we needed (even a round pizza dish) and didnt have the things we wanted to avoid (TV). We were hoping to catch the fall foliage but leaves were still green. But the cottage was right there under all of the trees with a perfect view of the lake.

Mary is an awesome host who goes above and beyond, on call for anything that comes up. The cabin was old school retro in style but updated - no spider webs or chintz here - the kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. I can't think of a kitchen appliance that was missing - there was a toaster, a blender, ice cube trays and even a rice cooker.

We had a great weekend the pictures were very accurate the lake was beautiful, quiet and very peaceful. We were very happy with our stay and had a great time.

We loved everything about this home - it’s truly a little slice of heaven. The walk down to the private beach was a breeze and the views are unreal from sunrise to sunset. The house itself is huge and well appointed and has plenty of space for group dinners and game nights. Additionally, the host was responsive and very accommodating. We would stay again and again!

My family loved our stay at Taylor’s home in Muskegon! She was very responsive and accommodating. Home was even better than we expected. Right across the street from the beach, close to downtown Muskegon and a 20 minute drive to Muskegon state park. Kitchen and all other amenities did not disappoint. Definitely deserving of the 5-star review this property has.

Beautiful location right on one of the cleanest lakes I have seen. House is well laid out and very clean with all the amenities, including a fully stocked kitchen. Very pleasant area with friendly neighbors. John(the owner) was great and very generous. He stopped by and told us a bunch of things to do in the surrounding area which made our trip a lot more fun.

We had a wonderful time and the house was comfortable with great amenities and a beautiful view. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more! Loved the extra fridge downstairs for easy access to our drinks while enjoying the massive 2 level decking. Sunsets were spectacular. We sure appreciated the sand area connected to the deck that kept the littles entertained and within eyeshot. We were surprised at how short a walk it was to the expansive beautiful beaches on either side of the house. And special thanks to the wagon left for us to haul our stuff for our day at those beaches! We golfed at a couple of great courses just minutes away. Highly recommend to any family looking for a perfect lakefront beach house that will make memories for a lifetime. We hope to come back again and thank Dawn for being a perfect host

This house was just as great as the pictures. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the deck and taking in the lake views all day long. The neighborhood is very private and quiet. Also the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. As we were traveling with 2 children under the age of 2, we enjoyed having the baby equipment available. The baby gates were very necessary with all the stairs. Jamie was very responsive and easy to work with. You will not be disappointed in this rental.

This place had everything we were looking for and more. The beach area was amazing, our 3 young kids had a blast playing in the water on the beach. We paddle boarded and kayaked around the lake. We fished off the dock and actually caught a good amount of fish. Our kids absolutely loved the playground that was on the property. The hot tub was a nice addition in the evening as the temperature dropped. There was a very nice bonfire pit and even a sauna available for an added feature. But really just the overall layout and space you have on the property was my favorite feature. It was very private, I felt like the neighbors were pretty far away on each side and didn’t see much of them at all. There were plenty of places to hang out both indoor and outdoor. We didn’t leave the property much at all and never got sick of it because there were so many places to go and things to do. It was a 10/10 for us and we are already talking about returning again next year.

We liked Zachary's place so much that we stayed twice! This is a great place to stay, with plenty of parking and space for the group to spread out. We appreciate the quick communication and willingness to make the trip pleasant by keeping the grass mowed and household supplies stocked. Highly recommend!
