Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Mutley

We loved staying at the Rocket House with our little dog. It felt like a home away from home, comfortable, spacious, and light, and I spent many hours sitting watching and listening to the sea from the big front window. It was so relaxing being so close to the beaches and sea, and being able to pop out and sit by the harbour. Portwrinkle was a lovely place, very friendly, and on the SW coast path so you could walk easily, and close to Crafthole for dinner and the community shop (an uphill walk but then down on the way back!). We visited Cawsand and Kingsand, Looe, Polperro, Antony house, Wilcove, Mount Edgcumbe, all nearby and beautiful. We will come back and stay again because I loved the home itself, the location, and the peace of the view and sea. Doing my yoga practice with the window open and the sound of the sea was wonderful. I didn't want to leave but I came home feeling rested and happy. Thank you so much.

The Lair is a lovely Air BnB close enough to the coast and Salcombe to enjoy the area, but far enough away to avoid the crowds (and price tag!). We ate there a couple of nights and the kitchen facilities were great. Walkable (but uphill) from Hope Cove where we had sourdough pizza on the beach from a local converted horse trailer. The garden is fully enclosed which was brilliant - so nice to be able to let the dog out for a wee without having to wander around in PJs and slippers in public with him on a lead! The car parking is also within the enclosed space so letting the dog in and out of the car was also convenient and safe. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the South Devon coast.

This home is amazing, and pictures do not do it justice. It is very clean and very, very comfortable, right in the heart of the sweetest Cornwall village, Cawsand Beach. The views….. takes your breath away. Seriously. The sound and smell of the ocean are healing, and to sit there and watch the natural beauty is a big part of the experience. Once you’re there, you only have to step outside the door to be on the path to all the pubs, shops and walking paths around the area. Amanda was an excellent host and we appreciated every kindness she extended to our family. This vacation in this location will be hard to beat. We left with heavy hearts as the locals embraced us with the same amazing kindness. I would recommend this experience to anyone that appreciates an excellent home in the middle of a magical part of the world—a step back in time and a chance to reset in a stunning location. A delightful secluded residence facing out over farmland. Although there is a farm and there are homes in converted farm buildings close by, you would hardly know they were there; the property has a separate entrance to the main farm that it shares with one other dwelling, which again you would hardly know was there. The property is as described and well equipped. Although the garden is very small, this is not really a problem with so much open countryside on the doorstep. Rich George was very helpful, responding quickly to our queries before arrival and welcoming us warmly with helpful advice when we got there but otherwise leaving us to enjoy our holiday. The climbing roses surrounding the decked area were divine. We can recommend North Sands beach as a paradise for dogs if they like the water; our visit was in early June and, on all but one occasion, we managed to park in one of the four road side parking spaces at the top of the beach (free for 2 hours) rather than pay to use

We wanted to get away from it all in a part of Dartmoor we hadn't been to before and Steve's place seemed to fit the bill. When we got there, we found that it more than met our expectations! The Barn was exactly what we were looking for: a wonderful peaceful location and extremely comfortable and very well-equipped accommodation. The big selling point for us was the fact that the Barn was on lots of well-mapped walks, so that we could go on lovely walks in all directions without having to get in the car. Steve and Tessa were the perfect hosts; they made us feel most welcome and we found we had a lot in common. We very much enjoyed our short stay and look forward to returning to the Barn before long to explore the area further.

when we opened the door it was like home from home. So spacious, modern and spotless. Freddie our dog loved his closed in garden to play in. Everything we needed for our 9 nights was there. Wow the shower was lovely, and a spotless clean bed to get into to. The location was so peaceful with room to park our car. Tavistock the local village was so beautiful, with every shop needed. So many local places to visit, stunning views . We couldn't ask for a better location. Our hosts were so friendly and welcomed with personal touches. Thank you for a perfect stay.

One of my favorite stays. Cozy little cottage, with a surprisingly huge garden across the street. Well equipped kitchen for cooking. Fast internet. Horrabridge is a picturesque village with the amenities you need, plus footpaths and beautiful nature right outside the door. Santosh is easily the kindest host we’ve ever had. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. I would happily stay here again, I miss it already!

We had a truly magical stay, and loved every moment we spent there, especially the pool and the sauna, it was like being transported to another world. Bliss, we can’t wait to go back. They were super friendly and helpful. We loved every moment. Thank you

we had a fantastic stay here, the signal box was gorgeous and well equipped with everything you need and more! Nice touches of shampoos and shower gels incase we'd forgotten, a bottle of fizz and a jug of milk in the fridge also! We found the property to be clean and welcoming and hot tub was excellent and clean. we thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous pet sheep that came to see us everyday 😍 The view from the property is amazing and the sunrise was to die for! we had dinner at The springer Spaniel one evening, lovely food and great cocktails!! we would easily recommend this gorgeous place and jacqui is a lovely welcoming helpful host! we hope to be back soon! This is a very special spot. The farm is made up of the main house and several beautifully converted stone barns with generous balconies overlooking a stunning field and river. They are beautifully decorated, very comfortable and homely spaces that show the real care and thought of the owners who have done all the work themselves. The pool is amazing, with rotating 2 hour slots given to each barn every day. We would love to stay again and would recommend it to friends and family in a heartbeat.

Had a lovely stay at Hilsea, I had trouble finding it but then I listended to sat nav and not enough to Patsys instructions. Noss Mayo is a lovely village, not much in the way of shops which I liked, great pubs. Stoke Beach which is wakable from the house is by far the nicest we stopped at. Surfing Cow, 10 minutes away, is a must visit. The pool is truly heated which surprised me. Would really recommend this as a holiday spot. We'd like to return.

Toby’s place is a lovely holiday lodge on the Honicombe holiday park. It’s in pristine condition and the hosts, Kevin and Tina, were lovely going above and beyond to make it a great stay. It’s well located for exploring Dartmoor and Cornish coast. Our favourite beach was Tregantle and we also enjoyed the Merrivale stones. Honicombe park is great for kids with use of an indoor and outdoor pool that come free with the cottage, a pub offering good value meals and loads of play areas.

Danny’s home is in an ideal, rural location, set back on an expansive lawn overlooking the sea on one side, hills with grazing sheep on another, and just beyond an amazing view of Plymouth. Beautiful! Directly across the street and down a short path is The Cliff Top Cafe, a great place to get a bite to eat and take in the amazing view. The home is very comfortable and clean and has everything needed to enjoy a peaceful getaway. To me, the best part of the experience was definitely the location. It absolutely does not disappoint. Views, views, views and soft sounds of sheep calling out from the hillside. Very special. Thank you Danny. We will never forget our first stay in the UK.

Beautiful cosy lodge, close to amenities. Fully equipped and plenty of space. The sofas and beds are amazing and and we just felt at home and very comfortable. Lovely place to stay

First time using this property. Hosts where proactive in contacting me, and giving clear instructions about find the property and checking in. Property itself was lovely, really big but homely. This was a work trip, but I would definitely use again.

Liberty Barn Cottage is the prefect tranquil getaway. Lots to do locally and the amazing facilities at the cottage for R&R. We would most definitely return again. The hosts Tracey and Marky are passionate about hospitality and it shows in everything they do. Highly recommended.

Katie and her family were very friendly and welcoming. The Granary was available to us well before the check in time and Katie advised us on best directions to find the farm. The accommodation was very clean, well equipped and felt like home from home. A lovely touch was the fresh Devon time and milk. The shower is very powerful but there is no curtain/screen to enjoy it to the max. Although towels are provided, take a big bath towel if you like to wrap up. The Granary is located on the courtyard of a working farm but is extremely quiet. The patio, down a couple of steep steps, is set in a little garden overlooking the Tamar Valley. It was fabulous to sit in, after a days walking to enjoy the peace and watching the huge variety of birds visiting the bird feeders. A great place to stay for visiting the Tamar valley and surrounding area. We would definitely recommend it to anyone and will return again when we are next down in Devon.

A gorgeous little bolt hole with warm and welcoming hosts who were very happy to accommodate my third dog. Perfect for exploring the Moor and a jaunt to the north and south coast. Looking forward to returning.

Very comfortable and clean accommodation, had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Off road parking and easy access via key box. Lovely garden for the dogs to wander and a nice seating area for drinks of an evening.

Amazing views. An absolute joy to have our morning coffee looking out over the sea. Fantastic location, very quiet and peaceful - just what we wanted. Trek to the beach was ok once we found the best route (turn left at the top of the path). Overall a lovely little hut, clean and well equipped.
