Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mwanza

Rachel was very helpful from the beginning and the place was as shown in the photos. If you are looking for a peaceful secluded place, this is the place for you. The house is great and the surrounding area is very nice. Unfortunately, the place is a bit further out of Mwanza town than we expected and there are no shops or anything nearby, with three small kids this was a bit of a challenge for us. For this reason we decided to change to another accommodation. Rachel was very helpful and understanding and gave us a full refund without any questions.

La maison est immense et propre. Bien mieux que sur les photos.. C est un grand Wahou quand nous entrons à l intérieur. Chaque chambre est très grande, la cuisine est fonctionnelle et neuve. Pépé et son gardien sont trés agréables et serviables. Nous avons pu faire un check in plus tard car notre avion était dans l après midi. Je recommande vivement ce airbnb, vous ne serez pas déçu.

Salum's place was very clean and beautiful just as it shows in the pictures. He was quick to respond whenever I had an issue. The check in and check out process was smooth. I highly recommend for singles or couples visiting Mwanza.

Wir haben drei Täge in der Wohnung von Vandy übernachtet. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet und sauber. Die Betten sind super bequem! Als Gastgeberin war Vandy nicht persönlich vor Ort, aber sie war gut erreichbar und hat schnell geantwortet. Shamaz, unser Ansprechpartner vor Ort, war immer greifbar und konnte uns bei sämtlichen Fragen weiterhelfen. Für unser Auto hatten wir einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Appartement. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen Korb mit vielen Leckereien und sogar eine flache Wein. Darüber haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Das WLAN hat nicht immer einwandfrei funktioniert, was für uns aber nicht schlimm war. Wir können einen Aufenthalt bei Vandy von Herzen weiterempfehlen.

I had a wonderful 4-night stay at this beautiful and spotless apartment! Everything was exactly as shown in the photos—clean, cozy, and perfectly maintained. But what truly made my stay special was Winnie, the host. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and always responsive. She went above and beyond to help with food delivery and even assisted with laundry, which I greatly appreciated. Winnie also introduced me to her own brand of yogurt called JIRAMBE, which she kindly delivered for me to taste. I was genuinely impressed—it has the quality and flavor of any high-end yogurt I’ve ever tried. I highly recommend it! Overall, it was an amazing stay. Thank you, Winnie, for your hospitality and generosity. I would definitely return!

Giphon's place is exactly as described. When I checked in, Laeticia (his wife) had made me FRESH orange juice straight from the beautiful orange tree in their garden! Him and his family are very welcoming and gave great recommendations on what to do as a first time visiter in Mwanza. I was travelling solo and both the location and accommodation felt safe, and was close to a lot of great places. I got sick one night and they checked in on me and gave me medication, truly hospitable people. Kitchen amenities were in plentiful and all the appliances worked. I had such a great stay, I will definitely be back!

The host is very communicative and very accommodating. The place was shining clean with modern appliances. Highly recommended.
