Holiday rentals with lake access in Nakuru County

This place is beautiful,private and very peaceful no noise just animal sounds at night which was amazing!My baby and husband loved taking walks and playing around the big garden outside.The lake was a very short walk which we loved.The hippos come out at night to feed just out side your door step which we loved to watch from the big windows.We only had a slight issue with wifi network connectivity on and off which hopefully the host could sort out but other than that we will definitely be back !

Great place to stay for both business and pleasure. Cozy sitting area with good WiFi and FREE Netflix! The bathrooms were very clean with good water pressure - enjoyed the hot shower after a long shoot day :) Had travelled to Naivasha with the team for business but I will definitely stay there with my family in the future. Thank you Jacinta for being a great host.

An absolute dream spot on 200 acres of exclusive parkland next to the lake with giraffe and zebra’s walking through your garden. The cottage is utterly charming. Old school rustic but made beautifully comfortable by a doting team. The home made food delivered to the cottage was some of the best we have eaten in Kenya. A truly hidden gem. Can’t rate this place highly enough.

Staying with Francis was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and clean, and Francis was always available to answer our questions. Highly recommended!

Edel was very kind and considerate of our situation when booking. Mary greeted us warmly and ensured we were happy throughout the stay. The natural, peaceful setting is lovely. The large, comfortable bed was amazing after a day of travel. The shower may just be the best in Kenya... super hot water with great pressure! The kitchen is nicely equipped for self catering. Wonderful stay!

A quiet and private place to unwind and relax

Vassari is a really great place, the location is amazing to the point with the map very accessible. The view of the lake is to die for, waking up to that every morning was really great. Edgar the host is a really nice guy. We would definitely go back.

I had an amazing stay at this Blissful Modern Homes. The space was incredibly clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, making it the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway. The bed was super comfortable, and every detail, from the well-stocked kitchen to the charming ambiance, made me feel right at home. Sharon was responsive, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed during my stay. She provided great local recommendations and made check-in/out a breeze. Very beautiful airbnb with a nice view of the hills, very clean and tidy, John our host and his staff were helpful and very responsive when we needed assistance would definitely be coming back!

The house was spotless clean. Same as was described on the post. Only had a problem with the house access and leaving because of the Caretaker of the building. This was very well addressed latter by Brenda and the team and I am happy with the way it was handled. Would stay at the home again.

Great place to stay in a quiet area of town. The apartment has everything you need and the bed is very comfortable

Rodah's place is central amazing. Close to the central business centre and a kilometre away from the national park. We enjoyed staying there.

Mercy’s apartment was stunningly beautiful and her response was always very fast and positive. However, a few make ups here and there would have made the stay even more beautiful. Taps in the wash basins didn’t have water. Showers had only hot water and they were sizzling hot, which made bathing difficult. There were lot of mosquitoes in the apartment at night and no mosquito repellant was found around.

Absolutely loved our stay which was unfortunately for 1 night only. The property was beautiful and cottage incredibly cozy for our group. Look forward to coming back again and staying longer!

The shower heating was the best,the mattress very comfortable..we needed time away from the busy Nairobi Noises and pollution..At Victoria gave us that and more,initially we’d planned to stay for just one night we fell in love with the hidden gem and automatically we added the second night..we will definitely recommend Olmakau lake Naivasha and perhaps come back again..5* to the well equipped and high standard kitchen

Awesome place to relax. Quite and near the lake. Staff is really nice and helpful.

My friends and I ushered in 2025 here. It was a really good place with amazing views of fireworks. The bonfire was always lit and the jacuzzi always hot! Not ideal for more than 4 couples though (unless you don’t mind being in each other’s space). The chef did a fantastic job! 👌

Can’t imagine a better place to stay in the Naivasha area. These cottages are private and located on beautiful grounds which are well maintained. The cottages themselves are spacious and warm with all the necessary amenities. This was such a peaceful place to get away to over the weekend and we can’t imagine a better experience!

lf you want to enjoy some solitude and some peace and quiet for a while, then the Good Ol Days Farmhouse may just be the place to be. It is a little of the track, but provides the most enjoyable experience of being in the country. The hospitality is truly to be commended.

Ons verblijf bij Lake Naivasha was werkelijk onvergetelijk! De Airbnb was prachtig gelegen, met uitzicht op het meer en omringd door natuur. Elke ochtend werden we wakker met het geluid van vogels en zagen we nijlpaarden in de verte – magisch! Het huis was schoon, ruim en sfeervol ingericht, met alle voorzieningen die we nodig hadden. De tuin was perfect om te ontspannen en de zonsondergangen vanaf het terras waren adembenemend. De gastvrouw was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, gaf ons geweldige tips over de omgeving en zorgde ervoor dat we ons meteen thuis voelden. We hebben genoten van boottochtjes, wandelingen door Hell’s Gate National Park en zelfs een bezoek aan een lokale boerderij. Deze plek is een oase van rust en natuur, ideaal voor wie even wil ontsnappen aan de drukte. We komen hier zeker terug. Sterk aanbevolen voor natuurliefhebbers en rustzoekers!
