We had a wonderful stay! Everything is pretty simple, but that is also part of the charm. The food was very good and versatile! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They always help you with a smile! It is very nice that we could get a delicious coconut everyday :) would love to come back!

Illy's Homestay

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We spent an incredible 5 days with the people of Gunu, who welcomed us with open arms. We were able to take part in lots of village activities. Ili and Max are wonderful people; they integrate us perfectly into their daily lives with their children. The advice we can give you is to book your trip to this accommodation directly with Ili's Airbnb account to make sure she receives the money for the accommodation. We thank them for welcoming us into their home with such generosity.

Garden Bure @ CoralView Resort with Ferry Discount

JesseRating, 5 stars12 months ago
This is a beautiful island getaway and is well worth the boat ride from the main island. Peaceful and quiet, and the staff really stand out to make it an unforgettable place to spend a few days. This is not a 5 star resort so if that's what you're looking for it would be best to look somewhere else, but if you're looking for a remote island experience it truly is great. the only thing I would warn is that there is no hot water for the showers, which during the heat of the day actually starts to feel pretty good, but If it's a colder day or during the night isn't to everyone's taste.

Ocean Bungalow - Escape at LONG BEACH

HidayetRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
I had a memorable stay at this homestay, thanks largely to the incredibly lovely and welcoming family. They genuinely go out of their way to make you feel at home, and they offer a range of activities that provide a great insight into the local culture and way of life. Just keep in mind that no activities are offered on Sundays, which is something to plan around. The beach here is by far the most beautiful I’ve seen in Fiji – truly breathtaking! Though the tide goes quite far out around midday, which isn’t ideal for swimming – but that’s just nature. However, the room, the bed and bedding were quite old and had a noticeable moldy smell. The food was okay, but not particularly memorable. Keep in mind, this isn’t a 5-star resort, but a true homestay experience with beautiful people, and you pay significantly less than at the big resorts. Overall, if you’re looking for an authentic, budget-friendly experience with a wonderful local family in a stunning setting, this is a great choice.

Ocean Rythm Homestay 1

AlexandraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had amazing 2 days and Tina and her family cared so much for me. I went snorcheling with reef sharks (they are very friendly, medium size and not dangerous), made my own jewelery, bracelet which was so fun. The reef is right in front and i saw many fishes, corals were beautiful! The boys dropped me of on yasawa flyer, all is well organized. My room was comfy, i slept very well, you can hear the ocean waves right beside your room. Village people are lovely and welcoming too. One boy extra run back to the boat in the ocean to catch my shoes for me that i forgot on the trip and Amele helped me out with the booking payments via online banking when i ran out of cash which was extremely kind. No ATM on the island, take enough cash with you! You can buy water bottles from Tina as well. I came as guest and left as a friend. Its a magic place and i will be back!

*Life's a Beach* Cabin Ocean-Front in Quiet Lodge

MaianaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Great stay here, perfect location, private beach at the foot of the individual cabins, perfect for swimming at high tide. Family and staff attentive, very present and in exchange, ready to make us discover the Fijian culture. The kava ceremony was great and always the opportunity to taste cocos in every way! Lots of activities on: Caves and fishing trip to enjoy your freshly caught fish! Let's not forget the derisory price per night, so don't be too demanding about the comfort, kindness and generosity of this family is to be respected!
