Apartment holiday rentals in National City

Small cottage at the back of the house in a quiet neighborhood. Hard to believe that a major highway is just two minutes away. Good supermarket only 10 minutes walk away. Restaurants and shops in North Park also within walking distance. Easy to get around by car as well. Lots of hot water in bathroom. Kitchen is small though adequately stocked. While the living room looks out onto the patio of the house, it was quite private during my 5 days there.

Our stay was great! The apartment was clean, AC worked great, nice deck. Many amenities at the property to use- pool, gym, rooftop deck. Parking spot was great as well!

We can't say enough about the home. With nature right at your front door, you feel like you are miles away from the rest of the world. But with North Park restaurants and bars just around the corner, you can have a great night out and come back to the sound of chirping birds. Hendrick is a great host a his place is a little slice of paradise.

Victoria’s place is perfect for people visiting San Diego and want to live in a peaceful neighborhood. The house with all the additional beach towel and chairs helped us a lot while visiting the nearby beaches. The deck is also perfect to enjoy in the summer and the big futon is super comfy for the additional person.

My daughter and I stayed here while we explored San Diego. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and even though we were close to the airport it was never an issue. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We loved the outside area as well!! We felt safe here.

Sommer was extremely responsive, accommodating and helpful. The place was just as described and was well stocked with everything you could need. Quiet neighborhood close to lots! We really enjoyed our stay and Sommer made all the difference.

The place is in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks away from the beach and a bunch of restaurants. It’s a pretty small apartment but it’s extremely comfortable.

Jessica’s place was absolutely fantastic. The location is perfect, right next to Balboa Park, which makes it very convenient to get around the city. The home itself is spacious, with both the bedroom and living area beautifully designed and thoughtfully decorated. What truly sets this place apart is the sense of safety and privacy. Unlike many homes in the area, this one is secured behind a large front gate, which gives it a very private and secure feel. It also includes a dedicated parking space, which was a huge plus. Above all, Jessica is a warm and incredibly kind host. If I ever visit San Diego again, I would definitely love to stay here once more.

Jessica and her Husband were great hosts. They were so kind to hold our luggage for us while we went to Sesame Street Place. They had snacks for us and Hudson had some toys cool toys to play with. Jessica set up the air conditioner for me so I would not be ton hot. I don’t like heat . Ha ha. Anything I needed she responded very quickly. It was plenty of room for my grandson and I. We had a great weekend in San Diego staying here. The apartment is very clean, building is chic, and the bed was very comfortable. The area makes it central to walk / drive to lots of different neighborhoods in San Diego. The actual surrounding streets aren't very cute to walk on, but it is still a very convenient location and 20 minute walk to the Midway Museum / Broadway pier. The host was great and highly communicative. Overall a very positive experience.

We had a great stay! The place was easy to find, and Janet’s clear instructions made getting there and checking in a breeze. The little welcome touches like cookies and thoughtful signs added a warm, personal touch that we really appreciated. The AC and fans kept the space comfortable, and private parking was definitely a plus. The kitchen was quaint, neat, and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. The shower had good pressure and worked perfectly. Overall, a cozy, well-kept spot with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We will definitely come back here. Thank you Janet!

Joe's place was great, very close to downtown and Balboa park. Very easy to get around and even get all the way up to places outside the city like La Jolla. Joe was also an excellent host who promptly responded and offered a lot of flexibility.

Place was very nice and worked well for us. Definitely keeping in mind for future visits.

Simon was a great host and provided more amenities than we thought! The decorations made the place feel warm and inviting. The walk to the beach was literally only a few minutes and we were able to walk to some restaurants and markets down the street easily. Overall I would highly recommend this place!

Charlotta was very helpful with the instructions and communicative. The apartment was perfect for our stay to watch the Padres play. Lots of walkable things to do. The apartment felt like home and was comfortable. Easy check in and checkout. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone you wants bay and city views.

A wonderful and cozy apartment, walkable environment with restaurants and short drive to everything you'll need including getting to the highway. Cy’s place was perfect for a 4-day getaway. It’s a 3 minute walk to the beach, and we enjoyed hanging out and watching the surfers. It’s walkable to so many places in La Jolla! We walked to so many amazing restaurants like El Pescador and Trilogy Sanctuary. I took a work meeting from the coffee shop on the corner, the courtyard, and the kitchen, and WiFi worked great everywhere. Quiet hours start at 10p so we stayed in one night and used the hot tub. The bed was super comfy and the shower head was amazing. Cy is very responsive, and I really appreciated his flexibility with finding a place to keep our bags for a few hours after checkout. It really was a wonderful experience!
