If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu after a busy day sightseeing, come and stay with us in the village of Godawari. Located 20km south of central Kathmandu and only a 20-min drive from the airport, our family house has 2 guest rooms. From our house you can visit nearby temples or walk among the local fields where they grow rice, barley, mustard and vegetables. The fields are still mostly worked by hand. Breakfast included, with dinner or lunch for an extra $5 per person.

My home location is just behind the US Embassy. There are other embassies also located nearby such as Brazilian Embassy. The Japanese Embassy is just 1.8 Kilometers from my home. Its a safe & peaceful residential area. Taxis are easily available. On an average it cost USD 2.5 to commute. It's near to different tourist locations. There are 2 Super Markets that is just few minutes walk from the home. Essential amenities like uninterrupted power supply, hot water, Wifi is available 24/7.
