Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Netherlands

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy house! The location is perfect — it’s very easy to reach all main attractions by bus, with stops close by. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for convenience and a lovely atmosphere!

We stayed a few nights with our 2 small kids, mainly to visit Amsterdam, and had a wonderful time. The house was great for us, very clean, enough space for everyone, very nice neighbourhood and restaurants and shops were close by bike or walking. We took the car to the nearest train station (Bussum Zuid) with free parking but without kids and less rain, walking would also have been easily possible. Jaap was very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. We would happily come again!

We had a very relaxing 5 nights. Kees and Karen were impeccable hosts, laidback and always helpful. We didn't come by car, but it's easy to get into Utrecht either by bus or tram. Would definitely book again.

"The Escape" and the Culture Farm, with everything that goes with it, breathes a kind of freedom that I have experienced as very pleasant. Berdie is helpful, hospitable and very friendly. Berdie's husband Gerard is cut from the same cloth. The cottage is complete in terms of atmosphere and inventory. Extra are the murals, made by refugees who have helped to make the cottage so beautiful. Incidentally, the ground floor is accessible to people who have difficulty walking or are in a wheelchair.

We had a great time with six adults. The space was good for the six of us. Monique and Peter sent very clear instructions about the accommodation. Immediately after booking, we were informed that a number of sleeping places are accessible with a somewhat steeper staircase. Very thoughtful but was also clear from the description and the photos. Beautiful view, beautiful, very large garden. Sauna was wonderful all in combination with the outdoor shower. Space to put the bikes down dry, very nice. Being able to charge your car is also a plus. And Peter and Monique were super nice. We even got a discount on the use of the sauna because they found it annoying that the weather was not so good. I can accommodate anyone who wants to get away from it all with a few people and enjoy the peace and space that is available.

We had a wonderful stay. Remco was always easy to reach and always responded and helped super fast. The surroundings are totally beautiful. Many restaurants are within walking distance and a supermarket is right next door. We highly recommend the place

We had a truly wonderful time at this beautiful house while celebrating my mother's 60th birthday. It's a great place to bring the family together for a relaxing weekend.

Tini’s place is the perfect little getaway for 2 people - we felt right at home, everything was as described, and very cozy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

The stay with Marjolein and Michiel was extraordinarily beautiful and cozy. Quietly located, beautiful ambience with private pond terrace and garden. Ideal for cycling tours to the World Heritage Site of the mills in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, and Dordrecht. The water bus is also highly recommended! Since my husband turned 60, Michiel had thoughtfully put a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and extensive. The beds are very comfortable. Such a lovely stay! This place was exactly what we needed — peaceful, cozy, and away from all the city noise. The cottage is super cute, clean, and has everything you need. Loved waking up to the sounds of farm animals, and it’s close to some handy local grocers too. The host, Marit was amazing — super responsive and really made us feel welcome. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unplug, recharge, and enjoy a bit of countryside bliss. We’d definitely come back!

Ellen and Jaap were lovely hosts, we had an incredible stay at their place! It was so creatively and artistically decorated, and I have never slept better at an Airbnb — the beds were so comfortable, and the neighborhood was so peaceful. It was awesome to have a sweet dog and cat roaming around to make us animal-lovers feel right at home :) 5/5 stars on all levels!

Eat a nice cottage! There were two of us here for a workation: working during the day but in a different environment for the holiday feeling outside working hours. We were able to set up two workspaces, one in the kitchen and one in the attic. There were better chairs for us for that reason, very nice. It is small but meets all expectations, well described and even more atmospheric than expected in advance. The weather was nice so also nice in the garden.

We were very kindly received. Maria gave a good tip for a tour of the house. It is a beautiful cottage located in a very beautiful garden that you share with the hosts. But we have experienced enough privacy. Marie and Pieter Jan are always there for you. In any case, we left with a very satisfied feeling. Rinie&Harry

Margor and Steven are nice and attentive, they give us a lot of helpful information about the area. The location is near the Zaandam train station and convenient when travelling to Amsterdam city centre. A very nice and cosy place to stay in NL.

We had a great time at Martijn's house and would love to come back. The house is well equipped, very clean and offers plenty of space and many possibilities for young and old🙂. A really nice place!

The property is located 20 mins from Schiphol Airport, in a quiet gated community. The house was neat and clean and located beside a water canal. The kitchen and cutlery were well stocked. The furniture was comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Easy to get to the city and to the other attractions. As stated in the description there is no washer / dryer. Bedrooms are located on the floor above the ground floor, the stairs are a bit steep. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive, friendly and courteous. Upon request we were given a late checkout which was very helpful and very kind of the host. Indeed a superhost! Would love to come back someday!

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

We had a nice stay and Anneke or her daughter were always available for questions during the stay. The house is very nicely decorated, everything was clean, good amenities and the pool and jacuzzi were great. I am more than happy to recommend the place.

Delightful place to relax on the Oranjewoud estate. You have a large garden for yourself with even a piece of forest where there is a surprisingly beautiful seat by the water, even a kingfisher has been seen. It was such beautiful weather during our stay that we only sat inside a little but the living room with beams and the high ceiling is also very nice to stay
