House holiday rentals in New Britain

This was the perfect spot for what we were looking for as my son graduated from Conn College. The host was very responsive to my questions and flexible with check in times which we needed. House was exactly what was described and we had a wonderful time. Thank you!!

Beautiful, relaxing, clean Airbnb. Had an issue with the shower, which can happen anywhere, Mk was super responsive and came over quickly. Loved loved loved our stay here. Didn’t use the swimming pool due to weather but the screened deck with the Fire Pit and the superb game room saved the day. Thank you for hosting us will be back

I absolutely enjoyed my weekend here. The home is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need was provided In the home. Everything was clean, and neat. House is filled with light. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The host were amazing and had great communication, assisted us when needed right away. I would highly recommend staying here, and they are pet friendly which is always a plus for me. The yard is fenced in. Which made it easy to let the dog out, and great for the dog to explore. A++++ Will probably be back sometime In the future.

We had an amazing time at Marybeth’s suite—it truly felt like a winter wonderland. Our kids had a blast "swimming" in the snow and "rolling" over the gentle hills. Every moment was filled with joy, whether we were relaxing in the sunroom, playing in the snow, or swinging outside. The time spent together as a family, along with our conversations with Marybeth and her family, was truly precious. We can’t wait to return in the summer!

We LOVED: 1) The location! The driveway is long & sand/gravel but you could drive it in a sedan fine. 2) The amenities! The pack n play was a HUGE lifesaver! 3) This location is mostly child friendly. 4) The view is phenomenal! When we woke up & opened the curtains for the first time, we were in awe! 5) The host was extremely helpful. The hot water went out once, but she was over in 5 minutes to fix it. Some feedback: 1) The windows in the ceiling in the master bed! They're HUGE and BRIGHT. 2) The bugs. Ants. Spiders. It was a struggle. NOW I WILL SAY - I brought this up to the host on day 3 and they were more than willing to come help how they could. The house is located in the middle of the forest, but it was a lot. If it weren't for an m&m left under the nightstand in the bedroom by a previous guest, it probably wouldn't have been so bad. 3) the coffee maker was pretty rough when we got there.. a simple over site by the crew. Overall, I would definitely consider this location again

Truly one of a kind property. Relaxing, calm, extremely responsive and helpful host. If you are looking to get out of the city or just need some time away to think, look no further. 10/10.

We had the most beautiful weekend stay at Tim’s home! Everything is accurately described and the pool and hot tub were amazing!! All the beds were very comfortable. Was perfect for a 5 girl weekend getaway!! Tim was incredibly communicative and checking in was a breeze. The location is PERFECT in East Hampton!! So many amazing restaurants and bars nearby. 100% will stay here again for my next Hamptons trip. Thank you so much Tim!!

We had a great time at AJ's place! The space is very spacious and comfortable, everything was clean, and the backyard was PERFECT for our group. Close to casinos and restaurants. Highly recommend for groups and families!

I highly recommend staying at the Riverside Blues House. It is in a charming location and a really well thought out property to stay. Liza really put a lot of thought into making the home not only comfortable but also very welcoming. From the moment I walked in the door you can feel the love in every room. The house is extremely clean with plenty of extras that made my stay very enjoyable. Thank you Liza!

Shawn created a special place here. Love all the details, especially the skateboards and music room. The hot tub was lovely after a long day of driving, I soaked again in the morning. ColecoVision console in the game room was so nostalgic along with a great selection of other games. I really enjoyed the grounds. Even wandered down to the dam/waterfall. My mother in law, son and wife all had their own space to stretch out. I could easily spend more time here, it is not just a place to lay your head for the night.

Great space! Perfect location in the hart of West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square. The special touches were so thoughtful. Check in and out was easy too!

this place is magical. my sisters and I have stayed here twice now, for her wedding and now for mine. both times the home has been clean and the overall experience has been wonderful.

We stayed at Drene’s place for a wedding weekend with a couple of friends. Everyone really felt at home and we loved the place. We even extended for an additional day. Her kitchen had everything we needed to prepare something for ourselves, and the building is in a very calm neighborhood. We would stay there again whenever we’re in town.

We stayed 3 nights (family of four with 2 small kids). The place was great and perfect for us. Right downtown and walkable to shops and restaurants and the greenway as well. The host was very responsive and helped out with a minor smoke detector issue. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit!

We had a great time at Tonya’s place visit CT from AZ with the family for nephew’s wedding. Convenient location, spotless and very comfortable it felt like home.

There’s so much to love about this charming open plan beach cottage! We especially enjoyed the water views, hearing the birds, and eating on the breezy porch. It was sparkling clean and stocked with everything you’d need, from comfortable beds and towels to many thoughtful essentials like hand and dish soaps, tea and coffee pods, paper towels/toilet paper, and shampoo/conditioner. Eileen is a gracious and responsive host — she was particularly understanding when we had to reschedule our visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Eileen, and we hope to return!

We came in for a bridal shower. I 100% recommended to other out of towners this listing. Wanted to stay a few more days but our schedules wouldnt allow. It is definitely worth the 5 star review!! Will be staying here in the future to visit my sister less then 2 miles away!!

Glenda was friendly and had great communication from Start to Finish. This was a nice location for a family fun weekend. Although the drive is close enough to stores if you need anything (target/stopnshop/bjs etc), the property is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The yard is a great place to hang out and relax with the fire pit or have fun in the pool. And when the weather was crappy the pool table and hanging out in the basement den was nice. Everything in the house is labeled and easy to find. We enjoyed the space and would definitely recommend. Thanks again! 😊

We especially appreciated the privacy of the location—it felt like our own peaceful retreat, tucked away just enough to disconnect while still being accessible. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us, even setting aside a beautiful arrangement of flowers for my girlfriend’s birthday. It was a thoughtful gesture that did not go unnoticed. Communication was excellent throughout—responsive, clear, and genuinely warm. Every interaction felt intentional, with attention to detail that made us feel welcome and valued. Highly recommended for couples looking for a quiet, intimate escape with top-tier hospitality.

Bryan and June’s place is peaceful and cozy, and the location by the river is spectacular. The kitchen was really comfortable, clean and usable with lots of cookware and nice quality dishes to eat off of; we easefully made multiple meals together and really enjoyed doing it - which isn’t always the case with Airbnbs. Both bedrooms are lovely, so if you’re in a group that needs both bedrooms, this is a rare find where EVERYONE gets “the nice room.” A rare find!! The beds are comfy and on the softer side, and should work great for 99% of people (they were just fine for my spouse and for our friend who traveled with us). IF you are someone who needs an especially firm and supportive bed due to back issues (my situation, sigh), they may not work for you. I’m only sharing that for anyone else in my very specific position, since I also rely on reviews for info like this!

Kellen and Samantha's home and property are very special--a wonderful location for a restful retreat in nature that is also a short drive to several charming towns in northwest Connecticut. The hilltop site offers breathtaking views of surrounding mountains, valleys, and forest. The residence sits atop a long driveway off a gravel road so is serenely quiet and private. Inside, the space was immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortably furnished. The shower, bed, towels, and linens were all particularly fantastic, as was the full kitchen which allowed us to cook nightly. The area is exceptional for hiking, culinary delights, and all sorts of shops. And our hosts were proactive, helpful, and clear in all of their communications. We really loved staying here, as did our dog, and we hope to return. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at Peter’s home by Saint Clement’s Castle for our wedding weekend! From start to finish, Peter was an exceptional host—friendly, responsive, and incredibly flexible with the details of our stay, which helped make a busy and emotional weekend so much smoother. The home itself was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully maintained. Every room felt comfortable and inviting, and the clean, updated aesthetic made it the perfect place to relax between events and get ready for our big day. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat during a very special time in our lives. The place is so peaceful and gorgeous, almost like being in a nature preserve but not far from anything either. We saw deer, a fox, a heron, and lots of adorable chipmunks. It was the perfect place to stay during a graduation weekend where the town was bustling and we needed a place to decompress when not on campus. The lawn is simply stunning, and there are incredible views on the the pond and the sky from pretty much every room in the house. We were there during a wet spring and everything was green and fresh. It must be spectacular in the fall or during a snowy winter. Shawn is a super kind, attentive host. We hope to come back in 3 years for our next graduation! Thank you for letting us stay here!
