This adorable home was just what we needed for our family to visit White Cloud for a wedding. Jenny was very responsive and provided clear information and instructions. Check in was easy and convenient. The home was clean, comfortable, and provides lots of great little extras like the paddle boat and kayaks. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is a great place for small families or weekend get away with the dog like I had. Morning views drinking coffee on the porch are great. The river is great for floating and fishing for trout. Awesome spot for bird watching, hummingbirds come right up to the porch and a bald eagle has a nest within a few mile radius so you'll see them fly up and down the river. If you bring your boat depending on the type it may be best to just take it to croton right down the street due to the current and how quickly it gets shallow to deep. Great fishing there as well I landed a walleye within 5 minutes. There's spots on the water to eat there as well. & in general alot of places within just a few minutes from the cabin , parks , breweries , etc. I stayed during a 90 degree weekend and even without AC the a frame stayed cool just running the fan !

If you are thinking about it , Don’t! It’s about an hour from most big city’s but this place is so fun Kayaks, quiet, cozy, great kitchen supplies, wonderful canoeing in Baldwin 10 minutes away and close to a dollar general and grocery store Well worth it

We had a group of 8 adults (4 couples) stay here for a few nights. We went rafting on the pine river one of the days, about 45 min away. This place was a great value, had plenty of room to play yard and card games inside and outside, and we enjoyed our stay!

Great place. Lots of room. Very well stocked with everything you would need. Was just like being at home!

Nice touches everywhere you look. Very thoughtful extras so a family can come right in with nothing and everything needed to enjoy the lake is right there! Kayaks, lounge chairs, huge inflatable on the lake for everyone to climb on, yard with yard toys and firepit, even s'mores stuff. Rock painting to add to their rock garden was loads of fun, perfect for crafty people of all ages.

This lake house Airbnb is amazing! There’s everything you could need inside and out! Jenny is super friendly and always replied quickly to any communications. The view is breathtaking and it’s so peaceful there. The house is super cozy and comfortable. My group loved everything about it. Would happily recommend it to anyone else and we would stay there again 😊

The home was very appropriate for our family. The fishing was good. Other services were nearby.

We loved staying here was so peaceful and quiet in the campground. We really enjoyed going down the river. Only thing I didn’t like was guest had to pay to come visit. I understand if they are using the amenities but just to have it friends and family come visit was a charge! We definitely will be coming back again soon though!!

This was perfect. It was right across from a prestine pool (5 star review on the pool) and close to the play ground where we found mulberry trees 😋. The camp ground is located right off the river, there is kayaking/tubing/canoeing rentals available. The RV is air conditioned with running water, and plently of beds. I would come here again and again.

Loved staying at the campground in the cabin instead of a tent as we usually do. Set up was quick and easy since we only needed to make the beds and put the table cloth on the picnic table. Gyorgy and the staff are delightful and provide great recommendations for food! This campground also has rentals for floating down the river, kayaking, and canoeing. Our kids enjoyed the arcade and goodies in the general store. The pool was salt water, which the family enjoyed. The facilities are centrally located with a short walk and they are very clean. I highly recommend staying at this cabin!

Comfortable cabin in private campground. Cabin is pretty bare bones, but was exactly what we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer but will be back with the kids again to enjoy the park 😊

perfect place to escape to! couldn't of found a better place to stay! Steve was helpful on local places to eat and was quick to respond to any questions. highly recommend!!! the camp spot was beautiful the shower was awesome and clean!!!

Great experience! The host was extremely responsive and helpful. There was a hick-up with the water when we arrived, but the host had someone out there immediately and the problem was fixed in just a few hours!

Michael was a great host. The property and the land around it was amazing. Ultimate off the grid get away. Would highly recommend for any groups looking for private, yet perfectly located property in the woods.

This is our second time visiting Hess Lake and our first time staying here. The location was perfect for us as we were there for wedding that took place at Smugglers, just a walk away. The cottage had plenty of room for our family. A big plus was having 2 full bathrooms. It was exactly how it was decided and what we expected. Jenn & Nick are great at answering questions and providing details about your stay. We would recommend staying here and hope to return again someday.

The cabin was spotlessly clean, easy to enter and leave, and in the most beautiful location. We had a few snafus but Brandon responded immediately and was very helpful. Would definitely recommend

Definitely book your stay here! With permission, we had a very small wedding on-site and it was the perfect weekend for all. The host was extremely kind and responsive. I had a question about the property once we arrived, and I received a phone call right away in response. Everything is very well maintained, CLEAN, and unlike many rentals-plentiful. We had more than enough of everything despite the extra guests. The backyard yields an incredible view. Not only of the water, but of an amazing sunset as well. Super friendly area, with plenty of food options close by. This place exceeded our expectations in all categories. Everyone that visited/stayed raved about the the view, the kayaking, the healthy board game collection, the smores by the fire, the multiple yard games, and even how comfy and clean their beds were. You will not be disappointed, and if you somehow are-this host will help.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very private location. Everything you need is available in the bus. Did some hiking, relaxed, had campfires and played games. Very comfortable stay, we are glad we booked it.
