Highly recommended — especially for families with young children! The property has everything you could need, and there’s even a charming farm nearby (just be sure to check their hours in advance). The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The house was spotless and had such a welcoming, positive energy. With so much land to explore, you truly don’t need to leave the property if you bring your own food and supplies. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely book again in the future!

We booked the house for five nights for a group of six adults and had a lovely visit. Gabriela was a fantastic host communicating super promptly to our questions. It rained 90% of the time so we used the interior of the house to the fullest, and not the exterior (no fire pit, bikes, or hot tub) so cannot comment on those features. All appliances worked well. Kitchen is helpfully labeled and well stocked with kitchenware. The beds were very comfortable, towels fluffy, and downstairs family/game room is a great space for all ages. Furniture was comfortable, dining table was welcoming and though the house shows a bit of wear and tear here and there, everything was clean, tidy, and decorated appealingly. Tip: Bellvale Market just 7” away had great quality food products; Warwick, a quaint larger town, is just 10-15” away providing all other conveniences.

We had a lovely stay at kim’s. The location was great, having a hot tub was really nice even with the weather getting warmer, the space was very clean and kim was very responsive to us throughout the whole stay.

Beautiful, cozy, and comfortable cabin. Bilen was extremely clear & communicative with instructions and local recommendations. We especially enjoyed the record player and having access our own private hot tub on the deck, the surrounding woods are gorgeous and many deer friends paid us a visit! Would absolutely recommend, thank you for the lovely stay!

What a wonderful experience! I wanted to celebrate my wife’s birthday and this was a fantastic place to do it! We had a terrific time. The house is beautiful and well appointed. Location was great . Visited 2 Farmer’s market and enjoyed the beauty in general. We will return! Thank you for being a gracious host!❤️

Surprised my girlfriend with a weekend get away for her birthday and she was thrilled. Evelina and John are great host and their place is warm and welcoming. We loved the lake, and the quiet serenity of the location is perfect for a weekend trip from the city. Also loved the kitchen which made cooking in a breeze because how thoughtfully organized it was. Although our stay was short we did find time to take the canoes out explore the lake and take a refreshing dip. Our only complaint was that our stay wasn’t longer, and we’re both looking forward to coming back !

We always stay at Little Willow when we go skiing at Belle Ayre. I think our three years and running relationship with the house tell you all you need to know about working with the Little and Littler gang and their spot.

What a wonderful week we had at Martin’s home! The home was beautiful, very clean, well decorated, and probably the best stocked kitchen of any Airbnb I have ever rented. We were just four minutes from the town of Kent but felt like we were a world away in the woods. This home is off of a lane country road set back a bit with woods behind the house, a beautiful back deck with a dining table and a grill and a hot tub. The bedroom and living area were extremely comfortable for our staycation and we enjoyed cooking all of our meals on the grill. Macedonia State Park as well as the Appalachian Trail are just one or two minutes down the road and we enjoyed taking our dog on hikes there. From start to finish, Martin was extremely communicative with us prior to our arrival and throughout our stay as needed. This place is a gem and if you are looking for a country getaway in a beautiful home, not too far from New York, this is it. We will certainly be back!

I love the fresh air flowing throughout this entire little cottage. Every room invites dappled sunlight filtered through lush summer foliage. It is truly cozy, whether enjoying a coffee on the back porch, journaling at the desk or chilling on the big comfy couch. Walk out the door and the lake and charming downtown are steps away. I find myself thinking I could truly spend a happy month, here. Stay. Return. I know I will.

Ilze and Laurence’s place felt like home away from home. Every morning, we were greeted with chirping birds, clucking hens (was even able to order a dozen eggs straight from their free-range poultry—so organic!)—and a smiling donkey! It is a place were you can find peace and rest for your soul even for just a few days.

This place was wonderful. We were only there for a quick stay, and it was rainy, but that was ok because the cabin was so cute and cozy and fun. A bit of time sitting in the chairs out front in the morning with my coffee was exactly the quick weekend rejuvenation I needed. The cabin had everything we needed (and plenty of things we didn't need on this trip, but you might! I could see us playing board games or relaxing out on the back patio on a future trip.) A previous reviewer said this spot is what you expect an Airbnb to be, and that's exactly right. We picked it at first because it was convenient to a few Westchester things we needed to do, but we didn't want to drive home afterwards to CT on a summer Friday night. Spending this little bit of time in the Carmel area was genius because now we can't wait to go back there specifically for a real visit!

The cottage is lovely, clean, and immaculately decorated. Great taste. We enjoyed the pool, which was perfect for our four year old given how shallow half of it was, and how the temperature was perfect, even on days when it wasn’t too hot outside. We hadn’t realize that the kitchen didn’t include an oven or microwave—but even so, we had a great time and enjoyed the fire pit! WiFi was a bit spotty but the hosts went above and beyond to try to help. Highly recommend!

Excellent location for local shopping, lots of food choices, delicious breweries. Most importantly VERY close by for climbing & getting out to nature. The Woodstock & Kaaterskill wilderness areas are within 30 minute drive. Lots of stunning views for a decently low mileage. Rip Van Winkle bridge is 9 minutes away if you want to explore the other side of the Hudson. The place has all the amenities you’d need for a getaway. Very clean, host was very responsive; even on the Memorial Day holiday. Will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The space was clean and cozy. The location was quiet, but also conveniently located within walking-distance to a great bakery and a craft beer/snack store. Highly recommend this stay!

We had a wonderful stay at The Carriage House and would definitely book it again. It felt like a true escape from city life. Very cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The house was perfectly located near High Falls, Accord and Stone Ridge so we got to eat at great places and explore each of the towns without needing to spend much time in the car. Would recommend this place for anyone looking to spend some time in that area. It was truly a lovely experience.

Our stay was great. Super clean abode in a very tranquil setting—woke up to birds chirping! Host was very responsive to our several questions. All in all a good visit, and we would stay there again!

I had such a great experience staying at this cottage! The photos truly reflect what the space looks like if anything, it’s even more aesthetically pleasing in person. Everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully put together. The location is perfect,close to everything you might need. If you’re into hiking, the Ridge to River Trail is just an 11-minute drive away and leads right into the charming and trendy town of New Paltz. We also loved the food recommendations nearby, definitely check out Darlings and Ollies! I would highly recommend staying here. I’ll absolutely be coming back and telling all my friends about it. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Tony's lake house. The house, exterior patio area by the water, neighborhood, and overall landscape was exactly what we needed for a peaceful and relaxing few days. What a picturesque spot to watch a sunrise! My interactions with Tony were extremely pleasant and I'd love to come back sometime soon. Thank for making it a great experience!

By far one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed at! The cabin was beyond adorable, comfortable, clean, so well decorated and very private. It was so relaxing with great outdoor areas to hang out, places inside to read, comfortable den to watch movies and super comfortable bed. Would definitely come back!!

This cottage was very lovely, cozy, clean, and just a few minutes from the town of Woodstock, but very secluded and peaceful on a beautiful property. The home was exactly as described and had everything you could need for a short stay. I do recommend having 4-wheel drive and a car with good suspension to get up the gravel road leading to the house. Cayenne is a wonderful host - she was extremely kind and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at the cabin and hope to be back soon! It’s was the perfect place for us to stay for our week upstate. We loved the movie collection and listening to the sounds of the creek from the open windows. Really feels like you are at someone’s home and not a soulless rental! Five stars ❤️

Easily one of the nicest little cabins around. Can’t beat the privacy / grounds with Mountain View’s. There are nicely landscaped walkways and paths all around. We also appreciated the convenience of firewood and drinks for purchase on the property. Great location for hiking, snowboarding, fishing, not far from breweries like west kill, and towns like Woodstock. Paul was a great host who was very responsive to any questions we had. Will definitely book again.

Serene, beautiful property and a very cozy feeling cottage. We felt at home right away, and loved sitting by the fire and looking out the large windows. Easy drive to nearby towns for great food or groceries, and the hosts were very responsive and helpful.
