Holiday rentals with breakfast in Newington

Ruth house is great. Lovely garden and spacious rooms. We spent a week there, we are a couple with a 3yo girl and we recommend this house for families. It is clean with many useful things in the house because it is a "real home". Quite a few of buses around just walking 5 minutes. Thanks!

Crookston House is by far the best place we have stayed in the UK. Georgina and Malcolm were the perfect hosts and couldn't do enough for us. The house and grounds were stunning. We felt we were being invited in, not only into someone's home but, to share and experience a piece of history. The whole place is beautiful, fascinating and so relaxing. We had the Yew Tree bedroom which was fantastic. We also had access to the downstairs rooms and after a day of hiking and sightseeing was a lovely way to relax with a glass of wine surrounded by family portraits and so much history.

David's home suited us perfectly and the location was very peaceful with easy access to Linlithgow and trains to Edinburgh. The fenced garden was an added bonus and gave our toddler space to run about. Our host also provided breakfast which meant after a long journey you didn't need to shop for the basics for the next day.

Great location, clean and good information was provided by our hosts. I would definitely stay here again.

This, by far, is the best stay I have visited. Marie is the perfect host, communicated in an exceptional manner, and provided the loveliest place to centre our stay in Edinburgh. From check in to check out, I felt welcome, comfortable, and well situated. Buses were frequent to go anywhere we needed and the accommodation was a welcome resting place after a long day of exploring. I have stayed many places but Marie's provided both the necessities and little extras that made this a fondly remembered experience rather than just a place to lay my head. I recommend this to anyone who wishes to visit and will be recommending it to family and friends who wish to visit in the future.

Casa molto pulita, spaziosa e accogliente. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, molto gradito il cibo trovato in casa e la gentilezza e disponibilità dell'host. Posizione un po' lontana dal centro ma con Uber rimane comunque una soluzione comoda. In generale consigliato!

We stayed at 63 Moubray Grove, South Queensferry for a Buissines trip and found the property well presented clean and tidy with all the modern amenities you could wish for in a quiet residential area. The property is easy to get to with local shops very close by also Dalmeny train station within an easy walk away. Nicky was extremely helpful and quick, easy communication.

We stayed in Sarah's home over the holidays for a family reunion. Sarah's house is all one would hope for a home away from home. After a long and tiring transatlantic flight, we found a welcoming and charming place waiting for us. The house is spacious and very tastefully renovated with lots of character. We truly enjoyed congregating around the large kitchen and dining table. There is a nice outdoor space which we didn't have much time to explore (rainy season) but great to have access to, nonetheless. The neighborhood is only a 15-20 min bus ride from the city center and there is a pretty canal very close by, ideal for a stroll or a jog. We recommend Sarah's home for anyone looking to spend quality time with family/friends in a lovely house and explore the beauty of Edinburgh.

A lovely large apartment, very comfortable beds and easy to park right outside the front door. Proactive, helpful & friendly host

Getting the key was easy and a little fun, kind of like a scavenger hunt! Glad the flat had an elevator. We came in around 6:30pm and planned on leaving early the next morning for the airport. We let Javier now our plans and he even had the living room couch already pulled out for us (quick turnaround). Super thoughtful! The kitchen is fairly big (for such a cozy little apartment) and was stocked well and had some simple breakfast items. And if you want more food, a HUGE grocery store is right outside your window. It’s cozy, rooms are fairly small but it had everything we needed. You could easily walk to public transit but because we came from the train station and were going to the airport with larger suitcases, we opted for Ubers. It was about 30ish pounds for both rides.

Absolutely Perfect Stay in the Heart of Edinburgh! This flat couldn’t be in a better location—just steps from the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. The space itself is fantastic: spacious, beautifully maintained, and truly feels like a home away from home. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches—milk, tea, and cereal were left for us, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and having two bathrooms made our stay even more convenient. There was plenty of room to relax after a day of sightseeing. This was honestly one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

The apartment is in the town centre, a very good and convenient location. The owner kept the apartment very clean and provided more than enough household supplies. We enjoyed staying there. Thank you!

Can’t recommend this place enough, fantastic location with great views, lovely hosts and clean & tidy apartment. Easy access to Edinburgh and the airport, when I arrived I got a Taxi from the airport, if I’d have known how simple the tram/bus journey would have been I’d have done that, I did for my return journey. Local restaurants are lovely and welcoming (Saphire & Queens Spice), good pint in the Thirty Knots too! I arrived late in the day, to be welcome with bread and milk amongst other things was just wonderful, simple touch which went a long way! I would definitely return and recommend this to anyone looking Thank you to the host(s)

Zeer tevreden. De communicatie verliep enorm vlot, de accommodatie was zeer proper. Geschikt voor 2 koppels of een gezin van 4. Het stadscentrum was ook op 20 minuten wandelen wat voor ons perfect was.

Splendida casa in un mulino in mezzo alla campagna, ampia, pulita, carinissima, accessoriata di qualunque cosa. Natasha e la sua famiglia sono stati gentilissimi, bimbi compresi. Abbiamo pure trovato ottimo pane fresco preparato da Natasha appena arrivati

Nous avons passé 2 uits chez Jennet. Jennet est une hôte très sympathique et sa maison est très charmante. Le centre-ville est accessible à pies en 15 minutes en traversant un grand parc (idéal pour les chiens). Le petit déjeuner était très bon avec des produits faits maison. Grâce aux instructions de Jennet, nous avons pu garer la voiture gratuitement à environ 10 minutes à pieds.

We wish we could give Patrick more than 5 stars! We have stayed at many, many Air BnBs and this far outdid them all! The location is perfect — walkable to everything we wanted to do and then some. Patrick had great suggestions and tips and also provided a wonderful breakfast. The space was bright, airy, immaculately clean, and the bed and shower were both exceptionally comfortable! Can’t wait to come back for another stay!

I was looking for a few days in a home and I absolutely found that. Judy and her husband are warm and welcoming and the upstairs space is very sweet and comfortable. I especially liked the view of Arthur's Seat, the big bed, open windows, and thoughtfully stocked fridge. It is very easy to catch a bus to/from the Old Town but I also enjoyed walking through the neighborhood and The Meadows. Thank you, Judy!

Facilement accessible du centre-ville. Tranquille, propre, un des meilleurs Airbnb que j’ai loués depuis longtemps. Je recommande vivement!

The hosts have a very welcoming vibes. They are respectful and always ready to give a helping hand and very considerate in everything. The place feels like home and the ambiance was peaceful, calm and relaxing. We will absolutely recommend staying in Sinan’s place.

Wow! What a fabulous place to stay! Daniela was an excellent, welcoming host. The room was very comfortable and tastefully furnished. The property was close proximity to Edinburgh Airport and located in beautiful surroundings on the golf course. It was easy to get to Edinburgh and I enjoyed staying outside of the city. I highly recommend and will stay again, for sure!
