Holiday rentals with a sauna in Nicoya Peninsula

We really enjoyed our stay, great hosts. They have 2 lovely dogs as well, they have it setup so that a gate separates the garden in two. They won’t go around the pool area but we opened the gate for Rio the Border Collie to hang out, very friendly and quiet dogs. Quiet and super close to the beach, walk 100 meters you are at a supermarket, next 100 meters you are already at the beach! The house has everything needed to cook and even a nice TV. Rooms and common areas all like in the pictures. Thanks a lot 🙏🏻

This place is truly a gem! A terrific rental with resort amenities. The location is excellent and provided inspirational views every morning with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the evening for sunsets. The beach club was excellent for our 4 kids with multiple pools and access to free activities. It also served as a great location for accessing paid activities like horseback riding and jet skiing. We explored as far as La Leona Falls from here and we were able to access all of the beach towns north of Playa Conchal for some amazing sunset views over drinks and dinner. We were able to also have a very nice dinner at the W Hotel as well with reservations. Lorenzo was an amazing concierge/resource that was able to direct me to activities very quickly and reserve them for me. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Playa Conchal is one of the best beaches in Costa Rica & this apartment was ideal for our stay. it was luxurious with an amazing ocean view and next to the pool. With access to the beach club, we were able to enjoy Playa Conchal to the fullest. Josephine was an amazing host! We are eagerly looking forward to our next visit .

This condo was beyond beautiful, well kept, clean, and the view was spectacular and dreamy! The condo had a beautiful pool and spa and workout room. The surroundings were very serene. Melissa was great and accommodated our party with all of our requests! My only complaint with this property is that it is 20 minutes away from a restaurant or the marina and even further in to town. You can drive the road with a golf cart, but you do have to be careful, very curvy and hilly roads.

Sharon and Eduardo are great hosts and pretty communicative. The property is amazing and has great views from the different rooms. All the items and stuff in the property are in excelente conditions, like new. Everything was absolutely clean. Definitively this is a great place to disconnect, feel peace and brief new air and totally secure.

This place is phenomenal! Super quiet, away from the tourist areas. Makes for a great home base. It’s not in walking distance to Santa Ana, but we preferred that as it was much quieter and peaceful. Would have loved to stay longer. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful place with unbelievable view Great for family or reunion vacation

Our experience: 2.5/3 stars, but, with the right research it would be 4/5. The condo is a 5. The amenities are a 5. But you NEED a car or a golf cart. The great: small pool close by is awesome and empty. The beach club is cool, and has a very nice restaurant and gorgeous two pools, all of which becomes sweltering if it is hot outside. Beach is beautiful and condo guests have access to lounge chairs. The golf course was nice but just too hot to play. Shuttle responds quickly and will take you anywhere within the resort. The trails were a nice added benefit. The bad: VERY long, difficult walk to the beach club. You need a car or cart or the shuttle. If hotels are busy, condo guests cannot use the restaurants. You’ll need a car to get to Brasilito or Playa Flamingo or Tamarindo for great food or any activities unless you only want the beach club or to cook at home. Taxis are very expensive and not easy to arrange. With a car and a cart at a cooler time of year it’s a solid 5.

We loved our stay at this amazing penthouse. After a bad experience at another nearby Airbnb, Carlos from Special Places accommodated us on VERY short notice, and we were thrilled to have found this gem. The house is spacious, beautifully furnished, and boasts SPECTACULAR ocean views. We spent hours on the patio enjoying the scenery. The well-stocked kitchen, large living areas, and amenities made it perfect for our family. The complex pool and nearby beach club were fantastic. This place exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely book here again on our next visit to Reserva Conchal.

Amazing place to stay within Reserva Conchal. Property is on ground floor, with amazing patio overlooking the golf coarse and ocean. Very clean and fully furnished. Board games and DVD videos are provided for kids for those rainy days. The pool is a short 1-2 minute walk. There is a free shuttle service that will take you anywhere on the property including the beach. There are amazing hiking and biking trails within the reserve. Brasalito is also a 15 minute walk or 5 minute car ride where there are plenty of restaurants, and shops. We were very happy with our stay and look forward to coming back!

Our stay was great! We had 5 adults and 2 little kids. We enjoyed the Beach Club amenities and were able to access Westin amenities too (although we found the prices of food to be crazy for non-guests). Great location and comfortable beds, hot water showers.

We really enjoyed our time at Patricia‘s unit. The unit was bigger than we anticipated, bright and clean. Well equipped kitchen, laundry, and cleaning closet. The beds were really comfortable. Lots of extra towels. Adixa was excellent in getting us settled into the unit. The beach club is awesome. You call for the shuttle and it arrives within the time they quote usually 5 to 10 minutes. The staff at the beach club were excellent. Great gym and a spa. The restaurant at the beach club has good food and pretty reasonable. The beach was accessible to the resort and had kayaks and paddle boards available at no cost. There were Trek bikes available too. We did venture to the all-inclusive Westin hotel for a meal and it was more expensive but good. The shuttles will take you there. We enjoyed our time here and hope to return.

Had a wonderful stay at Xanadu for 7 nights. It’s a lovely property and very well stocked. The host is so responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Would love to go back!

This is our 3rd month in a row staying at Las Catalinas. Each month we have chosen a different Airbnb in the area. We felt right at home in location. Everything in the home was comfortable and just as advertised in the listing. We tried out the Beach Club that was included in the rental, but decided that we would spend time elsewhere due to all the children who were using the Beach Club as a playground. We did enjoy walking around the homes close to the Beach Club! That was a new experience during this visit. In January and February we were not aware that we could walk around this area. We would definitely recommend this location.

This was a great home! The sauna and cold plunge were a hit and the view from the patio was breathtaking.

We as a group love the place, we had a great time. We highly recommend to rent or have a Four wheels traction transportation.

We absolutely loved our stay in Joel’s home. It was laid out perfectly for our family of 8 adults and two babies. The bathrooms and pool/outdoor space were amazing and it is just a short drive to the beach club where we swam and body surfed. Getting to the neighborhood from the Liberia airport was not fun at all with lots of delays and a crazy dirt road at the end, but once you make it, the neighborhood is great! We are at the Rural in nearby Villarreal and the Green Papaya in Tamarindo and both were amazing! Such a fun trip!

Absolutely beautiful house! Everything was as described and pictured. The outside was incredible, great pool, nice fire pit, great outdoor kitchen setup. Lots of room for everyone to relax inside and out. The kitchen was well equipped with high end appliances and everything you needed to cook. Beds were all very comfortable, bathrooms very nice, and tons of storage space. There was an unexpected 5th bathroom that was accessed from the outside, very convenient. The property manager Renzo was incredibly helpful with booking excursions and giving recommendations, and responded very quickly. Carol the housekeeper/ breakfast cook was amazing. The beach club truly is I minute away by golf cart. The pool there was very nice, and there was a lot of shade available. The restaurant there was quite good, with friendly service. No trouble getting chairs on the beach, and there was lots of shade under the trees. The beach was spectacular.

Probably one of the most luxurious places I’ve stayed in. Serene, immaculate and views were amazing.
