Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Nidwalden

Very polite staff and very accommodating to our needs. The attic room was exactly as described and did include air conditioning, which is a rarity in Switzerland. Breakfast area was well organized and food was high quality. We had an early departure before opening and the staff kindly offered to prepare us a breakfast to-go. Overall, we were very happy with this choice as a base while we explored Lucerne. Felt very safe walking the nearby streets at night, and had easy access to a local brew pub with an outdoor patio for drinks or a meal (we only tried the former). Great value, and highly recommend!

Daniela was a great host. The place was as advertised and my wife and I felt right at home. Each morning she made us a great breakfast made from local ingredients. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone staying in the Lucerne area.

Maria is a good host who’s responsive to any questions you have, yet gives guests the privacy they wish. We had the room on the top floor which gives comfortable space for 2 of us - a bedroom with very comfortable bed, and a separate room with sofabed, with ensuite bathroom. Easy bus ride to the heart of Luzern. Breakfast provided was substantial. We especially appreciated the shared kitchen where we prepared our dinners.

We stayed at The Bed and Breakfast on our family vacation. The room was comfortable and fit 4 perfectly. There were plenty of beautiful bathrooms and the beds were quite comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The lady who checked us in was very sweet and even helped us so that we didn’t have to pay overnight parking - we just had to change the time on our parking timer once. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Bed and Breakfast!

Would highly recommend anyone to book this qaint little bed and breakfast. First time in a bnb and it was a very good experience that I would consider looking at more of them to book in the future. We had a wonderful stay with family kempf! The place is located in the most beautiful location surrounded my mountains. The family was really friendly and welcoming. We definitely want to come back!

I’m not sure I have seen or ever will see a more beautiful view than from this place - it was spectacular! The hosts Susan and Daniel were so lovely and welcomed us into their home as if it were our home and we definitely felt very much at home, nothing was too much trouble, we borrowed yoga mats, sun hats and a slice of paradise! The house was pretty amazing and the room just what we needed. Breakfast was gorgeous and really varied - something for everyone all while watching the stunning lake view. The surrounding area was beautiful with lots to see and do. Weggis was a short walk away with bars and restaurants and a lido. Getting back was up a steep hill but you can’t get views like that easy and it was worth it. Mount Rigi was a great trip and little swimming spots dotted around. We wished we had stayed longer but hope to be lucky enough to return soon. Thank you Daniel and Susan.

It was an amazing experience staying at Werner and Anita’s place. It was clean, spacious and very welcoming. We had breakfast with Anita and Werner every morning. On the night we reached, we were a bit late for dinner and Werner and Anita were really kind to greet us when we reached and also helped us heat a frozen pizza that we had picked up on the way. Great place and very welcoming hosts.

An incredible place; a magnificent view that you could look at all day; a very good breakfast including homemade products; responsive and welcoming hosts. We'll be happy to go back.

Fantastic view and good hosts, they have been running the bed&breakfast for a long time so more professional than the standard Airbnb. Parking sometimes needs some organising when the 5 rooms are full (weekends for sure). Location up a hilly residency area, so it would seem it was a good choice for us to have a car, although I think they can help transport you if needed (but I can’t provide much info here since we didn’t use it). Thank you Susanne for the great breakfasts, would stay again!

Nice place. Very nice host. Directly at the lake. Thin walls, train drives by timw by time. But its ok, rooms very clean. One shower and toilet for all flats. Breakfast is very good. Would really go there again!

One of the best Airbnb experiences so far! Very friendly, communicative and uncomplicated staff. The location of the villa with the wonderful garden and direct lake access is phenomenal. There are rooms in different categories (single/double/apartment), which is a good alternative to the neighboring hotels. Very happy to come back!

Everything was in great shape. Except for the kitchen that was not available.

Beautiful place with a view of beautiful mountains, many hiking opportunities. Toilet and sink available at the Alpstubli. Deliciously quiet and tastefully eaten Cornelia cooks for her guests, does everything to spoil the guests!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Edith and Raphael’s place! The apartment was spotlessly clean and exactly as described, making it a comfortable and relaxing space to unwind. Edith and Raphael were incredibly responsive and always available to answer any questions, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Their friendly and welcoming demeanor really added a personal touch to my stay. One of the highlights was definitely the delicious BBQ we had with them in the garden, which made for a memorable evening. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again on our next visit! :)

The villa is definitely worth a visit🙏 Charming little room "Klewenalp" with lake view, practical shared bathroom, cozy breakfast room, great location (directly at the boat dock), sweet balcony, super small shop for snacks, delicious breakfast, lovingly designed garden with SUP/ paddle boat rental and very pleasant prices.

We had a great stay! This was a charming bed and breakfast with very nice staff. It was a short walk away from the train station and to the Aare Gorge.
